As students develop an understanding of the IB Learner Profile, this is a fun activity for students to show how each attribute of the Learner Profile is part of who they are. This activity is intended for a beginning of the year project, or for a piece that students may keep in their student portfolio. This colorful display makes an excellent bulletin board, especially for a hallway or classroom door for an event like Open House, Student-Led Conferences, or Back to School Night. *UPDATED TO REFLECT IBO CHANGES 2024* This colourful set of IB PYP Trans Disciplinary themes posters is a great way to display the theme of your unit and tune into the concepts within your inquiry. The child friendly language helps with the understanding of the overall theme and allows the children to make that connection between your central idea and the theme. (with English and American spelling ) Display them altogether or simply introduce each theme as you begin a new unit of inquiry. Either way that you choose, it’s a wonderful way to introduce the new unit as you also introduce the central idea and the additional concepts.
