Chaque semaine nous profitons des beautés d'Haïti en nous rendant à Port-Salut. C'est un petit village charmant au bord de la mer situé à 30 minutes de chez nous. Une des plus belles plages d'Haiti s'y trouve. Les habitants et marchands sont sympatiques et nous accueillent à bras ouverts. Route entre Les Cayes et Port-Salut En chemin, le paysage est à vous couper le souffle. Nous contournons les mornes pour enfin apercevoir la côte sablonneuse avec ses cocotiers, raisiniers, amandiers, là, pour vous protéger du soleil. La route est l'une des plus belles d'Haïti car, il faut le dire, les routes en Haïti peuvent souvent être périlleuses. paysages sur la route Cette journée est consacrée à la baignade, la lecture, la farniente....faire de nouvelles rencontres, et pourquoi pas, se permettre une visite à un de nos restaurants favoris sur le bord de la plage. On y mange d'excellentes langoustes et de bons poissons .Jan-Ubè concocte effectivement le meilleur rhum sour de la région.... Restaurant Le Reposoir Et puis ..... la plage ... pêcheurs dans leur pirogue Mais Port-Salut, c'est aussi un village avec tous les services et attraits: L'Eglise Petit parc en face de l'église Résidence des religieuses de Port-Salut Centre de Santé Si vous venez dans le Sud d'Haïti, ne manquez pas d'aller à Port-Salut. Et surtout.... apportez votre maillot de bain et prenez le temps d'y savourer un bon repas....
