Hot ~N~ Spicy Pickled Wieners Recipe ~ Hot Dogs or Sausages 2-3 pds. wieners into bite-sized pieces or any precooked sausage 1 lg. onions, thinly sliced 4 c. white vinegar 3/4 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cumin 5 oz. pepper sauce 1 tsp. red pepper flakes 1 tsp. pickling spices 1 1/2 tsp. whole black pepper Combine sliced onion with wieners. Mix rest of ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 3 minutes occasionally stirring. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Place wieners and onions in a jar and pour over brine. Add hot water as needed to cover wieners. Cover tightly. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving. Enjoy.
