Sometimes I just forget about my background stamps. But I pulled the Sketched Plaid background stamp off my shelf and used it in Azure Afternoon ink on Azure Afternoon cardstock for the background of my Hey Chuck card! I just love that pretty background, and of course once you own the stamp, you can create any color you'd like!! During the Coloring Masterclass with Barry & Jay, Jay showed the idea to color the Hey Chuck chicken with blue and green and I just had to try it.. isn't he just too funny?? Hey Chuck Cling
Ohh......this rooster just makes me smile! Isn't he cute! Check out this fun wobbly card using the #161553- Hey Chuck Bundle= $51.25- pg. 49. I attached the rooster to a mini action wobbly- so that it moves/wiggles when you touch it! When creating this card I did a technique called Fractured card or Faux Shutter Technique. Welcome to another week with The Paper Players Challenge. This week we were given a theme challenge: It's A Man's World. I decided to break out a new bundle... Stampin' Up Hey Chuck. I started with a piece of patterned paper from Stampin' Up One Horse Open Sleigh DSP. This is a new Online Exclusive that will be available July 1st. I adhered the DSP to a Very Vanilla mat using liquid adhesive. I adhered the layers to a Wild Wheat mat before adhering the layers to a Copper Clay card base. I stamped a rooster image from Stampin' Up Hey Chuck Stamp Set with Mementos Tuxedo Black Ink on a piece of Very Vanilla. I colored the image with Stampin' Blends: Copper Clay and Wild Wheat. I colored the beak and feet with Stampin' Up Stampin' Write Marker in Pumpkin Pie. I die cut the rooster image and a piece of Crushed Curry card stock with Stampin' Up Hey Chuck Dies. I die cut a piece of Very Vanilla with Stampin' Up Stylish Shape Dies. I blended Crushed Curry ink onto the circle die cut. I adhered circle to the card front with liquid adhesive. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink on a piece of Wild Wheat card stock. I heat embossed white embossing powder from Stampin' Up Basic Embossing Powders. I die cut the sentiment with Stampin' Up Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment die cut to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I adhered the sun just above the sentiment die cut with liquid adhesive. I added the rooster die cut to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I finished the card front off with Stampin' Up 2023-2025 In Color Dots. The inside is a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the sentiment stamped with Copper Clay ink. I adhered the panel to a Wild Wheat mat prior to adhering it to the card base. I hope you enjoyed todays card and I can't wait to see what you create for that man in your life for The Paper's Player Challenge. Hi everyone, sharing 3 cards I made using the Hey Chuck Bundle. I had some fun creating these cards. I was inspired by Wendy Lee who altered a piece of the Let's Go Fishing Desinger Series Paper by adding the red lines to it using a Real Red Stampin' Blend. I just loved what Wendy created so I just had to try it. These Dudes from the Hey Chuck stamp set were super fun to colour. I used Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Dark and Light Stampin' Blends. These are my finished cards. I hope you enjoyed these 3 Hey Chuck cards. If you live in Australia you can get all the supplies you need for this project from me. You can place an order online or Contact Me and place an order. SHOP WITH ME!
