FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER Natoora Fresh Apricots - While we stick with a single source for certain produce, we move between growers in Spain, France, Italy and the UK for Apricots, chasing flavour throughout the season. - A hard fruit to get right, we look for rich colouration and dense, jammy flesh – a sign they have not been aggressively grown or pumped full of water. - Using the full potential of our sourcing teams on the ground, we cycle through a number of varieties: from early season Samourai to Carmelo’s Flopria and Orange Ruby, to the highly sought after Bergeron from Marc and Vincent in Montauban. Take it further - Apricots have a subtle sharpness that pairs well with terrines, pâtés and other fatty meats. - Combine them with spices like vanilla or cardamom to bring out their sweetness. Our packaging is plastic-free - We have developed our own revolutionary packaging which is entirely plastic-free and home disposable. Each of our recyclable cardboard punnets is flow-wrapped with home-compostable film which, unlike traditional plastic flow-wrap, disintegrates within 180 days. Dispose of the black punnet in your normal recycling and the clear film in your food waste bin. - Each punnet bears the ‘Plastic Free’ mark of A Plastic Planet, a grassroots movement which aims to turn off the plastic tap. I have a new go-to! This yummy, veggie and protein packed meal is great for breakfast or lunch and as a scramble or in patties! Ingredients 350g chopped mix of zucchini, carrot and sweet potato 60g cheddar cheese 2 eggs 1 tbsp flour Method Put veggies in TM bowl. Chop 5 seconds, speed 6. Put in TM basket to strain all liquid. Put cheese into TM bowl and chop 3 seconds, speed 6. Add eggs, flour and reserved veg. Mix 10 seconds, REVERSE, speed 2. Make patties or scramble on a heated pan with a drizzle of olive oil. Cook until slightly browned. Add salt, pepper and chili to taste if desired. Serve with your TM made ketchup! Happy Thermomixing!
