Welcome to another Monday Morning Makeover Madness! Did you miss the M & M's last Monday? I did so I had to bring them out again today. These are makeovers of the one I made here. I just wanted you to get a feel as to how the New Horizon Designer Series Papers provides a different locale for the deer from the Grassy Grove Stamp Set!! If you notice on the last one, it totally changes the look of the card when the birthday sentiment is moved and the grass parts are extended. This is my favorite of all four. I'm entering it at Creative Creases #26 - Anything Goes with a Fun Fold. I'm also entering it at Pammie's Inky Pinkies #2208 - ATG, and A Perfect Time to Craft #2-2022 Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day. Oh, and grab some M & M's on your way to your next stop.
I am releasing the Grassy Grove & New Horizons Card Class by mail and live on YouTube. I will be live at 9 am mountain time on Youtube, plus I also offer the class by mail. I have all the detail
I was inspired to use the Grassy Grove bundle for a January card club project because of this card made by Deloris; one of my Flowerbug's Team members. See what I mean? It's striking & stunning! She used Blackberry Bliss and that background is the amazing New Horizon 6 X 6" DSP seen here. Her greeting is stamped on a stitched rectangle die-cut on Fresh Freesia CS. I changed the colors but still kept the large die-cut and the pretty...
We usually do 2 Make & Takes when we get together for our monthly Stamp Share. We take turns so it's not just a few people doing them. That way Betty, our upline, doesn't have to do all the work and we get to try different styles and techniques! Kim had us make this one at May's Stamp Share. I'm not sure if you would call it a Diorama or a Shadow Box Card. It looks really cool and was very easy to make! Happy Friday Eve and welcome to another week with with Happy Thursday Inkin' Krew! This week we were given the assignment to create a scene... I'm not going to lie to you this challenge had me a bit overwhelmed to say the least. However, I think I came up with a stunning card that is super simple. I used Stampin' Up Grassy Grove Bundle. The stamp set is stunning on its own, however when you combined it with the dies... the possibilities are endless. The card front is a panel of Stampin' Up New Horizon DSP. I die cut a piece of Basic Black with Stampin' Up Groves Dies. I die cut a circle with Stampin' Up Stylish Shape Dies out of a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock. I dry embossed the panel with Stampin' Up Painted Texture Embossing Folder. I adhered the tree die cut to the DSP with liquid adhesive. I added the embossed panel to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I die cut a piece of Basic Black with deer dies. I adhered the deer to the card front with liquid adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set with Evening Evergreen ink on a piece of Very Vanilla. I die cut the sentiment with Stampin' Up Stylish Shapes Die Set. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. The inside is a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with a deer and grass stamped with Mementos Tuxedo Black ink from Stampin' Up Grassy Grove Stamp Set. Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. Today I am sharing a really lovely card that features a stunning fold with just one die!! This card looks so complicated but it really isn't! That's my favourite kind. Why Grassy Grove? I was checking the Inventory Status report to help me decide which suite to feature for August and I realized that all the suites that I wanted to use are backordered. Then I saw the beautiful Grassy Grove on my shelf and thought I would show it some love. It has long been a favourite of mine,

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Grassy Grove edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Mike's Stampin-Style blog, welcome! There are six of us today, but if you get lost, just click the Stamp Review Banner to see the whole list of blogs. Grassy Grove is a 9 piece cling stamp set that has a coordinating 10 piece die set called Grove Dies. It's in the Jan-Jun mini catalog, and I'm happy to say it is carrying over to the 2022-2023 annual catalog, as is the bundled savings! For the first card I used the tree frame die to cut the front of the card base, then embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder (which is retiring today!). I added the New Horizons DSP scenery inside with some added greenery and trees stamped on. The deer was stamped in Soft Suede on Crumb Cake cardstock, die cut, and adhered inside. For the second card I tried to go for a clean and simple (CAS) look. I started by buffing a sunny background with Blending Brushes using Mango Melody, Calypso Coral, and Balmy Blue right on the card base. Next I inked up the stamps with Stampin' Write markers and die cut with them with the matching dies. After adhering them to the card base, I felt it needed something, and bling wasn't the answer, so I borrowed the birds from Let's Set Sail. The greeting is die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies that are in the new annual catalog that starts tomorrow! That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Betty at Kitty Stamp created, or "Previous" to visit Mike again!

Hello friends! Today I have been working on these lovely cards - going back to one of my favourite techniques! I never know quite what to call it... so I have gone with "Scene-building" but its also a watercolour technique. What do you think? Should I have a different name for this technique? I made a video to show exactly how to recreate these cards, and you will find this video link below. If you have questions or comments, I'd love to hear them! Have a great day! Linda D
Welcome everyone! I'm so happy you're hopping with us today! I hope you all had a wonderful day celebrating the husbands and fathers in your lives! On that note, I'm sharing two father's day cards! But you don't have to wait until next father's day to make these cards! You can swap out the father's day sentiment for a birthday, retirement or thinking of you sentiment. Here are close-ups of the first card: This card is made with the Grassy Grove Dies and the sentiment is from the He's All That Stamp Set. I watercolored the trees with a Water Painter, Old Olive Ink and Early Espresso Ink for some cool texture. Here is the bonus card (I call it a bonus card because I used retired products on this one) Even though the Enjoy the Journey Suite is retired, I just had to make another card with it for my husband! He loves all things bikes... dirt bikes and mountain bikes are his favorite. Thanks for stopping by! You don't want to miss out on any of the projects my friends have for you!
