Happy Friday! Here's a project I meant to share with you a loooong time ago. It's a Cafe Parisian mini album / recipe book and matching card set that I designed for the 2016 Monthly Class series! I believe this was the October class that some local scrapbook stores taught this past fall. And just last month, Graphic 45 offered the project to crafters everywhere. Often, design team members are creating projects months in advance of their release. I made these projects last August and have been dying to share them with you, as everyone needs a cute little recipe book to add to their collection, right? If you've ever participated in a monthly Graphic 45 class, you know that you always have the option to add extra embellishments to your projects. For this one, I used the shabby chic metal door plate and knob. To really jazz up the album, there's a fun splatter technique that you can add to your tag dividers using colored spray and acrylic paint. Want to make this recipe book? Here's the project sheet from Graphic 45. With your leftover Party, Cheers, and Celebrate tags, paper, and flowers, you can make this pretty coordinating card set! If you have some shabby chic ornate metal keys, you can add them as a finishing touch! And, here's the project sheet for the cards. That's all for today! Thank you so much for stopping by. If you'd like to attend one of these classes, check with your local scrapbook store!

I'm so excited to share this project with you today. Graphic 45 has come out with a new collection called "Café Parisian". It is absolutely dreamy. It's all things French, pastries, coffee, tea..... a European Culinary delight! When I saw the first sneak peeks on the G45 website, I knew that I would have to share with my coffee and tea loving friends. The Graphic 45 family is near and dear to my heart. I first came to know them through the Craft and Hobby Association trade shows and had the pleasure of sitting in on one of their classes for my article on the CHA blog. If you ever have the opportunity to see Jeff Filimoehala teach a class, you are in for a treat. Graphic 45 - Cafe Parisian Collection - 12 x 12 Paper Pad from: Scrapbook.com I love that so many of the G45 papers blend with other collections and allows you to make the most of what you have. I adore plaids and stripes and this collection is full of them. On my card today, I'm using several Café Parisian products; ephemera, paper, die cut flowers and my favorite at the end of this post.... the #3 stamp set. There are 3 stamp sets in this collection and they are all amazing, but #3 is my favorite. Isn't that tea cup just darling? Imagine all the different ways you can color and embellish it. I've watercolored my tea cup today, using Susan K Weckesser Color Pop mini inks. Graphic 45 - Cafe Parisian Collection - Cardstock Flowers from: Scrapbook.com Graphic 45 was kind enough to send me their collection so I could share with all my friends at the Fall Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop. They are also sponsoring a prize featuring some of these very products. It would be lovely if you would stop by the G45 Facebook page or their Instagram page, and leave them a comment, thanking them for this giveaway. Just mention that the Coffee Loving Cardmakers sent you. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'm leaving you with the shopping link below. It's wonderful isn't it? That tea cup.... the sentiments.... you're very welcome! Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and I have a card to share with you using some of the New Altenew products that Sharon has in the store. You can click HERE to check out all of the beautiful stamps, dies, and inks from Altenew. Here is the card I designed. As soon as I saw the Altenew - Vintage Teacup Clear Stamp Set I knew it was one I had to have. I love all thinks vintage, anything tea or coffee related, and I have a teacup collection that was my Great Grandma's. The vintage teacup stamp set is a layering set and can be used in several ways. If you want a very simple image you can use the outline stamps or if you want something fancier you can use the detail layers and the floral images. The set also has two stamps with polk-a-dots. I used the outline images, detail layers, and the floral stamps for my cup. The stamp set also has some really great sentiments. I stamped the cup and saucer with VersaMark ink on to a piece of Ranger Watercolor paper (on the smooth side). Next, I added Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder and used a heat tool to melt and heat set the embossing powder. I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to watercolor the images. For the main part of the cup and saucer I used Broken China and Peacock Feathers. For the flowers I used Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, and Spiced Marmalade and for the leave I used Cracked Pistachio. Once the paper was dry then I used the coordinating Altenew - Vintage Teacup Die to cut both of the shapes. For the sentiment I used VersaMark ink and stamped one of the sentiments on to a small piece of white cardstock. Then I added more of the Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder and used a heat tool to melt and heat set the embossing powder. I cut one end of the paper like a banner and then I inked the edges of the paper with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I layered a couple of the beautiful pattern papers from the Graphic45 - Cafe Parisian Collection 8 x 8 Paper Pad. The paper and the stamp set really compliment each other. I added some May Arts Teal Silk 1/4'' Ribbon and Venise Lace .75" - Lucia White to the middle of the card and then I also added a bow. The cup and saucer were layered over the ribbon, lace, and pattern papers and I used some Therm-O-Web Foam Squares behind the cup and saucer for some added dimension. I added the card front with all of the layered to a white A2 top folding card. Then I added the sentiment using a few more foam squares. To finish off the card I added a Prima Flower Serenade Orange to the center of the bow. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed today's card share. Please be sure to stop by The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and check out all of the fantastic paper crafting products. Also check out the Stamp Simply blog for more inspiration from the design team. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! I love this colorful collection that screams yummy desserts by Graphic 45 called Cafe Parisian! I decided to blow up the pictures of these yummy homemade donuts we had at a cafe in Prague one cold and windy night. Our drink was made by melting chocolate and adding cream!! Yes, that hot yumminess with these delicious homemade donuts!! It screamed, scrapbook layout!! So I obliged. It was the day we had landed after a long flight and walked all over the city to find ourselves just off the main drag from Charles Bridge in the Old Town. Great find and highly recommended plus they were still open after 8 PM though not as many to chose from at that time of day. Everything was so romantic and even a bit poetic to finish our first day of the trip. See the heart in the foam! So sweet of her! To recreate this layout is quite easy: 3 sheet of Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian: Bon Appetit, Creme' de la Creme', and Cafe' Parisian. Cut strips off the right side of Cafe' Parisian and the squares. Use on the Bon Appetit as the background paper for the right page. Cut squares apart and fussy cut the centers with the desserts out. Then using 3D foam adhesive, pop up onto the "pink squares". I also popped those up so double popped!! This is the right page in the double layout. For the left page: Using Cafe' Parisian paper, I fussy cut out almost the whole scene with the umbrella and waitress. The once done, I positioned my 5x7 pic where I wanted and used more of the strips from previously and added at both sides of the photo so as to ground it. I then added a vintage doily my girlfriend had given me from a collection of different sizes and this one seemed to mimic the tablecloth in the photo. Viola'! A simple and fun layout to add to my album of my trip! I don't want to miss remembering this wonderful night and all of the fun we had. Enjoy! Challenges: Word Art Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes #360-361-#224 Dragonfly Dreams: Anything Goes-#97 Double D Challenges: Wishes are Possible-Inspired by the blue and pink for the picture matched togehter. My dream of a vacation moment! #38

Evening my crafty friends, how are you? Long time no typie typie from me lol!!! It's been a right old topsy turvy week here. After some time away with H we've been shopping for last minute things for him to fill up his new room at Uni and packing up boxes for us both to head off in different directions........ Him down south and me up north! I've literally just finished the Recipe Box project for Saturdays class at the Edinburgh Trade Show. . Papers arrived here this morning but by the time I'd packed up the orders off the website, gone to the post office, the chemist, Tesco's, the doctors, then a trip back to them all to try and find my bank card that had mysteriously vanished somewhere between them all ( I didn't find it) it was gone 5pm before I sat down to take a good look at the papers and plan the project. They're from the Cafe Parisian collection by G45. Made me uber hungry while I was snipping them up - could have killed for a cake lol!!! So tomorrow I head up to bonnie Scotland for the Edinburgh Trade show, and a few classes and am looking forward to meeting up with everyone coming along to the show and my classes. If you there, and fancy joining me for the short workshop running on Sunday and Monday afternoons call by my stand and book early. Here's our mini project - do you think we can make it in an hour ish!!!!! I've combined the ATC box (one of my products), Claireeeee's magic tape (as it's been called) and the new St Nicholas papers from Graphic 45........ into this cute Christmas themed project ....... love this little box. Just perfect for 6 x 4 picture cards .................... Well I think that's all for now, I've got a few more things to sort before heading up the stairs so nighty, nighty, thanks for calling by and enjoy your Friday :-) Catch up again soon x C www.mycreativespirit.co.uk
