Hope everyone is enjoying their eggs and other Easter goodies :-) Just a quick visit to share this card with you - not strictly an Easter card but it could've been... I love this design, one of a set of cutting files for my Craft Robo, bought from My Scrap Chick. Unfortunately, although it doesn't really show in this pic I had a bit of a disaster with the good old pinflair glue , put a bit too close to the edge when sticking it all together - if you look closely at the middle 'tuft' on the chick's head you might be able to see it. But, as any good crafter knows, there's always a way round - et voila (!) version 2... ...with a hastily designed and cut sentiment! I managed to squeeze a bit of Promarker action in there too - instead of faffing about cutting the eyes and beak out of different pieces of card I cut them in yellow with the main piece and then coloured them in - genius, even if I do say so myself! Off to do more tidying now :-(
We are so excited to finally see more and more of the new Hello Spring Collection arriving in our warehouse! We're hoping to start shipping ...
Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Wrap It Up" -packaging, gift boxes, bags, etc. I made this cute Birthday Gift bag for my project. I cut the bag using a file from The Silhouette Online Store and added some Sheer White Ribbon to the top. I did this by using my ATG gun and ran some tape along the top edge. Then I took some Sheer White Ribbon and folded it back and forth over the glue. The cupcake is cut from Simply Charmed and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Sweet and Innocent face. I also added some Glossy Accents to the cherry and dotted it on the cupcake for sprinkles. I made the tag and stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's NEW Tasty Treats stamp set and attached it to the handle using more Sheer White Ribbon. I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!
Is it too early to think about Easter? Just an excuse to play with colour and pattern really.
So I used to draw...a lot. Then I decided that I wanted to go to school for art . After almost completing the program I decided not to fin...

its just one week to go now until easter and the shops are full of cards, decorations, and gifts. the chance are you are either thinking about designing cards for easter 2012 or buying cards for this year - so with this in mind i'll be posting some snapshots of things i have seen on the UK market this easter. starting with my favourite shop paperchase where they have a whole selection of styles for all ages and tastes.
I was perusing the seasonal section of Target as I far too often do, and came across the prettiest Easter nonpareil sprinkles. Obviously, I bought them. And then I proceeded to cover eggs in them. Because isn’t that the logical thing to do!? Sprinkles are the new glitter, after all! These sprinkle Easter eggs are …
