Hardier than most, Alstroemeria 'Inca Ice' (Peruvian Lily) is a tuberous perennial with lance-shaped, dark green leaves and a profusion of long-lasting, large, funnel-shaped flowers with soft apricot pink and creamy yellow petals, adorned with burgundy streaks. Blooming from early to late summer, this Peruvian Lily is quite vigorous and produces loads of flowers over a long period. It constitutes an excellent border plant, providing striking color and contrast to the perennial border and mixes beautifully with annuals and other summer flowering bulbs. It is well suited to containers too.

30+ Aquilegia Pink Petticoat is highly attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies, and these easy-to-grow Columbines are a wonderful addition to the summer border. Columbines are one of the easiest and most rewarding of all perennials. They adapt to many different kinds of climate and sun conditions. Their flowers are a treasure in spring and when they are through flowering, their waxy green foliage continues to add grace to the garden. Plant Columbines in a mixed border or in a mass by themselves. Sow Columbine seeds in starter trays indoors 6 - 8 weeks before last expected frost. Press the flower seeds into the soil but do not cover them. Light is beneficial to germination. Or, Columbine flower seeds can be directly sown into prepared seed beds with loosened, weed free soil after frost season has passed. Sow the Columbine seeds in groups of 3 - 4, and space the seed groups 16 inches apart. They do well in full sun or partial shade in well drained soil. Deer resistant. Zones 3-9 Growing instructions included. **Our Shipping costs cover processing/handling and current postal prices. All orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days. Is your orchid dead? It's probably just in the vegetative state! Don't send it to the compost heap until you learn to distinguish the difference.

Epimedium 'Pink Champagne' is one of the finest epimediums to ever hit the market from the hand of breeder Darrell Probst. The long, tapered, evergreen leaves are heavily speckled with large, dark purple blotches. Starting in early April, the 2' tall x 3' wide clumps of Epimedium 'Pink Champagne' are laden with 15" long floral spikes, each dripping with flowers composed of large white spurs attached to a dramatic raspberry cup. This RHS Award of Garden Merit winner is simply superb!

First discovered by Aztec Indians and used for food and medicine, this tuber has an interesting history of cultivation.
You know that feeling when you see an image so appealing to your senses that you just want to climb inside right then and there? That’s what the art of Russian painter Evgeny Lushpin does. I want to be standing on that rooftop at twilight; with the warm glow of home on my back and the cool evening b
An exceptionally beautiful rose with distinctive neat, flat blooms. Each bloom is a lovely soft pink, the smaller central petals deepening to rich apricot and surrounding deep-set stamens. The strong Tea scent becomes more Old Rose, with delicious hints of lemon and grapefruit. It forms a bushy shrub with strong, healthy, upright growth. Named for the Brontë Society to celebrate the bicentenary of the novelist’s birth. David Austin 2018

Wild Celery My knees shook when I first discovered this rare and spectacular Angelica growing at the Mendocino Botanical Garden. Luckily, the kind folk who work there let us have some seed of this amazing treasure. Growing quickly to 4’ tall and 3’ across, its foliage is a beautiful, luxurious, purple-black, making it stand out like royalty amongst its neighbors. Next come the huge ruby boat shaped buds followed by large, 4-5” umbels color shifting from mauve to dark violet-purple. An absolute must-have! And don’t forget that Angelicas are much loved by butterflies, too! EASY, fairly fast and blooms first year if spring planted. Rich soil is best. Self-sows!
