This purse is painted green with wood grain showing through slightly, and features a painting of a ladybug on the front. Gold tone clasp and hardware, mirror on inside. Stamped Enid Collins on inside with paint logo on bottom corner. Purse is in very good vintage condition with some minor wear and paint loss at edges and some minor surface wear, as expected with these purses when they were actually used. See photos for details. Purse measures approximately 8 1/2" across x 4 3/8" tall x 2" deep.

1968 blonde wood box purse featuring a gold angel with a bouquet of coins. Enid Collins copyrighted 10 purses featuring Angels and 4 of them were versions of "Glad Money" with this 1968 being the last time she issued a purse by this name. All 10 angel bags are hard-to-find with some falling in the rare category. Their owners must have hated to let them go! Like many wooden box bags this one has a couple of tiny chips and scuffs but overall, this bag is in lovely condition. Clean interior with mirror; and all gems present This angel will absolutely make her owner glad!
