Press Sample Velvet 59 is a company I met with at Cosmoprof North America this past summer. I had never heard of them but they have an array of makeup palettes and they were focusing on their newest palette, Rose Metals. I've been playing around with this palette and wore it a few times, so now I can finally share my review! Velvet 59 Rose Metals Eyeshadow Palette First, let's talk about the packaging. It's so pretty. The palette is a matte grey so all the metallic accents really pop out. Velvet 59 Rose Metals Eyeshadow Palette It has a magnetic closure and when you open it, there's pretty vine design and a quotation from the company's owner. Velvet 59 Rose Metals Eyeshadow Palette There's eight colors in the palette, ranging from subtle to strong! Velvet 59 Rose Metals Eyeshadow Palette Close ups of each color. Velvet 59 Rose Metals Eyeshadow Palette Velvet 59 Rose Metals Eyeshadow Palette Here's the palette swatched. Each swipe is 2 swipes with my finger. All the colors are really pretty. I had a problem with Rose Silver though. It shows up as nothing. I swiped it like 6 times and still nothing. Passion Flower is also a little sheer, but it adds a shimmery touch. Velvet 59 Rose Metals Eyeshadow Palette As you move, you can see the metallic shimmer strongly. It's really multi-dimensional. Sun Stone and Metallic Rose are absolutely gorgeous! I wore a look of a base of Rose Silver (which still didn't show up on my eye), then blended together 22k, Sun Stone, and Moon Landing. It lasted the entire day with no fall out. So I say success! Velvet 59 Rose Metals Eyeshadow Palette Velvet 59 Rose Metals Eyeshadow Palette Overall, I really like this palette, but Rose Silver really isn't a shadow to me. It is just so sheer. This palette from Velvet 59 retails for $45. Compared to say, Too Faced palettes that has 12 shadows for $49, this is a bit on the pricier side, but it is a smaller company. Beyond Rose Silver, I really liked all the colors. They blended well and had great staying power. You can find that product HERE. Nothing to Disclose A little NOTD today. Today features a special gift from Jen at My Nail Polish Obsession. She knows I am an avid Gilmore Girls fan and so she spent me this polish inspired by the series. I'm wearing it today because it's my mother's birthday, and we watched the show since the first episode aired on WB so many years ago. While I was away at college, she would videotape the series and we would binge it when I would come home! So happy birthday to my mom! Dreamland Lacquer I Ate the Fuzzy Certs I Ate The Fuzzy Certs: 3 coats plus top coat. This polish is a white crelly polish with holographic sparkle and metallic green glitters. Lorelai and Rory go on a little road trip and get stranded in their room to avoid bed and breakfast activities. Lorelai is so hungry, she eats "fuzzy certs." Do you remember Certs? This reminds me of the insides of the mint! It looks exactly like this polish. I don't normally wear polishes like these, but when I look at my nails, I see certs and my favorite show. Then I think of my mom! I better make her read my blog post today! :-P Dreamland Lacquer I Ate the Fuzzy Certs Dreamland Lacquer I Ate the Fuzzy Certs Dreamland Lacquer I Ate the Fuzzy Certs Dreamland Lacquer I Ate the Fuzzy Certs Although I don't wear these types of polishes often, the name, the person who gave it to me, and who it reminds me of is what makes it special. This polish was a limited edition polish for the holidays, but you can check out Dreamland Lacquer's shop HERE. Ehmkay Nails on Facebook. Ehmkay Nails on Instagram. Ehmkay Nails on Pinterest. Press Sample So this is a sort of press sample. Shannon at Pahlish gave me this at Polish Con to try out. She is supporting this local brand, which I think is awesome. I previewed it here in my Polish Con coverage, but now, I'm giving you a full review! As someone who has to take care of her nails, cuticle care is really important so I was happy to try this out. Tru Bee Cuticle Balm First of all, check out those ingredients. There's 5. I love when I can count the amount of ingredients. This product is beeswax based, so it is not vegan, but since I am not vegan, that's okay for me. Tru Bee Cuticle Balm It smells herbal and natural. The rosemary and lavender oils take away from the honey beeswax scent, and it sort of smells like a non-lemon Burt's Bees cuticle balm. I gather people with scent sensitivities will like this product, since it isn't artificial. Tru Bee Cuticle Balm Tru Bee Cuticle Balm Here were my nails without polish (don't judge too hard). I don't have terrible cuticles, but you can see that nasty hangnail by my pinky, so I was hoping it would help heal that up. Tru Bee Cuticle Balm It's a balm consistency so it is oily (hello, look at the ingredients!). While this wouldn't be good between swatches, it was great after swatching 8 microglitters where my hands were like GIVE ME MOISTURE!! This is how it looks as you put it on, without rubbing it in. Tru Bee Cuticle Balm This is after working it in for like 3-5 minutes. It absorbed really well actually! My pinky looks better today and I should have taken a picture, but it's a nice result. Tru Bee Cuticle Balm Look at how little I used. Seriously, this will last me a LOOOONG time. At $5 for 8 oz. this is a great bang for your buck! If you check out the website, this also is listed as a balm. As a nail polish lover, I used it as a cuticle balm, but it's apparently so much more than that! They list is as a balm that can oil wood, condition leather, take squeaks out of drawers, and more! Press Sample Another summer collection coming at you! These 12 piece collections mean you need to grab some coffee and take a seat while you scroll the pretties! Zoya has been really knocking it out of the park with their formulas lately, especially cremes. I use their cremes for nail art a lot, so if you're a creme lover, check this out! Zoya Wanderlust for Summer 2017 **Note: I did not use top coat on these polishes because they are super shiny and self-leveling! Also, most of these cremes can be one coaters!** Zoya Byrdie: 1-2 coats. This one appears a bit brighter in person. It's described as a muted fuchsia pink and that's spot on. Excellent formula. This can be a one coater. Zoya Byrdie Zoya Byrdie Zoya Cora: 2 coats. Again, like Byrdie, this can be a one coater. Actually, most of the cremes in this collection are nearly one coaters. I love love this color. They call this a muted coral creme, but it pulls really bright on me! It's definitely a more orange than pink coral. Zoya Cora Zoya Cora Zoya Arbor: 1-2. This is one of the odd summer colors, so of course, I love it! It's a bright but muted olive green. If a summery olive green creme existed, this is it. I love it! Zoya Arbor Zoya Arbor Zoya Esty: 1-2 coats. Esty (oh man, I keep typing Etsy!!) has a super slight shimmer. You can see it in person, but my camera didn't want to pick it up. I wouldn't buy it for the shimmer alone, but it's there. This is a bright bubblegum pink. Zoya Esty Zoya Esty Zoya Journey: 2 coats. A shimmery strawberry red! It's definitely spot on with the colors of a strawberry. I like that the shimmer isn't crazy heavy so I didn't have shimmer everywhere upon removal. It's a refreshing color. Zoya Journey Zoya Journey Zoya Lois: 1-2 coats. This is very close to Zoya Liv. I do always love these purples, but I'm wondering how close they are! Both of them have wonderful formulas. I think Lois is a bit brighter. Zoya Lois Zoya Lois Zoya River: 2 coats. This color couldn't be more literal! It's a rive ocean cobalt blue with that same great shimmer as Journey. This color seems to be the rage in all the summer cllections. Zoya River Zoya River Zoya Sonja: 1-2 coats. This is a super opaque watermelon red creme. I love it. It's so opaque that it did cause a little staining on my cuticles upon removal. I bet this stamps. I bet all these awesome cremes stamp! Zoya Sonja Zoya Sonja Zoya Mandy: 2 coats. Mandy is a pink counterpart of Journey. Whereas Journey is strawberry, this one is more "berry" like raspberries! Zoya Mandy Zoya Mandy Zoya Sawyer: 2 coats. A pastel creme that's 2 coats? I love this creamsicle orange. Perfect formula. Zoya Sawyer Zoya Sawyer Zoya Winnie: 1-2 coats. I keep repeating myself, but this is another amazing formula. This is a softer pink, but it's lovely. Zoya Winnie Zoya Winnie Zoya Scout: 2 coats. Like all the shimmers in this collection, the first coat is sheer but then it's opaque in two coats. This is the other unusual color, but I adore it. It's an olive green but I think it's more of a chartreuse. I love chartreuse; I'll take it in any variety. Zoya Scout Zoya Scout So, there you have it. Wonderful cremes with amazing formulas and two unusual greens that I adore! Here's my question: do you want a comparison post? I do enjoy doing them but they are a ton of work. Some of these colors are close to previous collections, so if you want a comparison post, I'm down! Let me know what colors you want to see compared! Press Sample Since last week technically marked the beginning of spring, it's time for me to share the Zoya Spring 2017 collection, Charming. This includes 3 cremes and 3 shimmers. This is a mostly purple and pink collection but the cremes are so so good so let's take a look! I'm currently wearing nail art that I'm obsessed with based on this collection so tune back tomorrow for those! Zoya Charming for Spring 2017, Swatches and Review Zoya Abby: 2 coats. I SWORE I had a Zoya like this and nothing is even remotely close. I think this is my favorite of the collection. It's a perfect lilac creme that leveled in two coats. This is just very bright and fun. I really love this color! Zoya Abby Zoya Abby Zoya Amira: 3 coats. This is between an icy blue and a pastel bright blue! It's weirdly into between. This one needed three coats to hide my VNL. It has gold shimmer and gold flecks. It's lovely on the nail. Zoya Amira Zoya Amira Zoya Amira I was reminded of Rayne as soon as I saw Amira, but when I took it out, yea, not even close. Rayne is much lighter with a finer shimmer. Based on the bottle shots, I didn't swatch them together, but let me know if you want me to! Zoya Jordan: 2 coats. Classic pastel pink! I surprisingly don't have another Zoya like this! It's not really an original color. I'm sure I have at least 10 like it. But if you love Zoya and you want a two coat pastel pink, Jordan fits the bill. Zoya Jordan Zoya Jordan Zoya Lacey: 3 coats. This is the green counterpart to Amira. I get a wintry vibe from this. I like the color; I just wish it were a richer green for spring. It's like an icy green. Still, very pretty! Zoya Lacey Zoya Lacey Zoya Lacey Zoya Millie: 2 coats. This has such a pretty sparkle! It's a pink leaning magenta with a pink shimmer and blue sparks. I like it! Like Jordan, not the most unique, but it has a nice formula! Zoya Millie Zoya Millie Zoya Millie Zoya Tina: 2 coats. Along with Abby, Tina is my favorite. It's a perfect purple with a bit of pink to make it springy and lovely. This is my must-have. Zoya Tina Zoya Tina After I saw Tina, I thought of Liv, one of my all time favorite Zoyas. Liv is much brighter with a touch of pink. I love Tina and that it's a cousin of Liv. This is my favorite type of purple. Zoya Violette is also a new lipstick releasing with this collection. It's a cream lipstick and feels great going on. It's a very girly pink! Zoya Charming Collection is available HERE on their web site. Press Sample It's a new week and I'm hoping that I'm cleansed of this yucky sickness. I wanted to get up the Naturel (3) collection because as you saw in my previous post here, there's an excellent deal starting today! Get any four polishes free, just pay shipping! And the Naturels are a great transitional collection before we move into spring. Firstly, I wanted to show you how I received my Zoyas. I'm not sure if this is new and something for all the polishes, but my Zoyas arrived in individual boxes! Now on to the collection. Each of the Naturels are cremes that really depends on your skin tone. I'm a tanned porcelain tone, so I do have a bit of yellow in my skintone. That means, lobster hands for some! Let's take a look. Tatum: 2 coats plus top coat. This is a light creme based that leans more to the warm tones, meaning, it brings out the red in my skin. I love this as a base for nail art or for when I'm tanner in the summer, but it does give me lobster hands. The formula is excellent as two coats. Zoya Tatum Zoya Tatum Cathy: 2 coats plus top coat. This has more pink in it than Tatum, and as you can see, still pulls out redness from my skin tone. Again, it will be excellent for nail art for me and I bet it will be beautiful on olive or darker skin tones. Zoya Cathy Zoya Cathy Zoya Jill: 2 coats plus top coat. Okay, now we are talking! We are entering my kind of colors that don't clash with my skin. Jill is a mauve creme that is still a neutral but the pink addition is just lovely. This is probably my favorite of the collection and I think this will look beautiful of all skin tones. Zoya Jill Zoya Jill Zoya Mary: 2 coats plus top coat. There are three darker colors for part of the Naturels (3). Mary is described as a raisin creme and that's totally accurate. It's got a tinge of purple to it. Really lovely. Again, consistent formula in this whole collection. Zoya Mary Zoya Mary Zoya Debbie: 2 coats plus top coat. Debbie is the darker sister of Mary. It still has that purple tinge to it but it's a darker brown. I don't wear dark colors, but the purple addition makes it wearable. This is my second favorite of the collection! Zoya Debbie Zoya Debbie Zoya Gina: 2 coats plus top coat. This differs from Mary and Debbie as it has no purple and is a straight brown creme. It's a lovely creme and reminds me of hot cocoa! Zoya Gina Zoya Gina Zoya Naturel (3) Collection is available HERE on their web site. The collection retails for $10 each or you can grab the entire sampler for $60. Press Sample I have more summer collections to share with you! This time, it's the Jessica Prime Collection which consists of 6 opaque cremes that are bright and wearable. These have amazing formulas and all self-level, and includes probably the best yellow formula I've encountered! Jessica Cosmetics Prime Collection, Swatches and Review First, I want to share the packaging. Jessica Collections come in this rectangular that you slide apart from the middle. It's fancy and pretty. I think this is only if you buy entire colors though. Jessica Cosmetics Prime Collection, Swatches and Review **Note: None of these polishes have top coat! That's how shiny and self-leveling they are!** Green: 2 coats. Yes, this is called green. All the colors in this collection are named with the color it is, which is unusual compared to previous Jessica Collections. Even Juicy Lime would have been better than "Green" but I digress. Accept the names for what they are. This is the green I wore for 6 days with the dotticure and no chips. Remember, this one stains!! It's beautiful though and the formula is excellent. Jessica Cosmetics Green Jessica Cosmetics Green Yellow: 2-3 coats. This is absolutely a two coater! I did a third, but I really didn't need it. I think I'm just used to yellows being awful. This is definitely the best yellow formula I have ever encountered. I also think it may stamp!!! I'm pretty psyched for this yellow. Jessica Cosmetics Yellow Jessica Cosmetics Yellow Orange: 1-2 coats. The formulas are outstanding in this collection. This is a one coater but I did two for photos. It's a bright vibrant orange, and again, I bet it stamps. Jessica Cosmetics Orange Jessica Cosmetics Orange Magenta: 2 coats. This is a super bright pink. It, again, has an excellent formula and went on smoothly. Just look at how shiny it is. Jessica Cosmetics Magenta Jessica Cosmetics Magenta Purple: 2-3 coats. This one was oddly the sheerest! I had a little balding at two coats so I did a third for photos. It's a pretty bright purple and I still think it has stamping ability. Again, look at how it levels. Jessica Cosmetics Purple Jessica Cosmetics Purple Blue: 2 coats. YESSSS. I feel like every time I wear a blue like this, I love it. I don't care how many I have. Bright with a creamy formula. It's like a neon cobalt. Just gorgeous. Jessica Cosmetics Blue Jessica Cosmetics Blue While the colors are not mind-blowing and neither are the names, the formulas are fantastic and self-leveling. Many are one coaters and most are 2 coaters. I bet these will stamp too and I'm REALLY excited for that! I'll be back once I try stamping! Especially that yellow! In my head, I've renamed all the polishes after summer fruits, LOL. Don't you love a good creme? I know I do! Each polish retails for $9.00 and can be purchased at the links below. The holo flames are very strong. Are you swooning yet?! KBShimmer Nauti by Nature Spring 2017, Swatches and Review Macaw Me Maybe: 2 coats. Bright red holographic inspired by Macaws. KBShimmer Copa-Banana KBShimmer Copa-Banana KBShimmer Copa-Banana KBShimmer Copa-Banana Keep Palm and Carry On: 2 coats. A yellow leaning palm tree green! I love green polishes. I love this color on my nails. KBShimmer Saved by the Shell KBShimmer Saved by the Shell Got it Sandaled: 2 coats plus top coat. This is like the shimmer sister to Latitude Adjustment. KBShimmer Got it Sandaled KBShimmer Got it Sandaled Tempting Fete: 2 coats plus top coat. Then matte. I used KBShimmer Matte Top Coat for all the photos in the rest of the post. KBShimmer Tempting Fete KBShimmer Tempting Fete KBShimmer Tempting Fete KBShimmer Tempting Fete Starfishing for Compliments: 2 coats plus top coat. Then matte. Oh em gee, these names are killing me! I love love the base color of this as it reminds me of sand and then the colors in the ocean. There are mini star glitters in black and turquoise. Star glitter to me is like AHHH because of my nail curves, but these are mini stars so they lay perfectly on my nails. No fishing (see what I did there?!) for glitters either. Press Sample Hello! While I don't always post on the weekend, these babies are debuting at Polish Con NYC and will be available for all soon! Multichromes seem to be all the rage right now! I love when they are mixed with flakes and glitters, but we are throwing it back to the straight multichrome where the shift is so strong, that you have 800 colors in one polish (or 6, but it's a lot)! I also love the 80s songs in the names! Ok, take a seat and enjoy! KBShimmer Multichromes, Swatches and Review Before I start, I want to preface my lighting. The first two photos show how the polish looks full frontal, as in when you hold your hand straight up to your face, with the nails completely vertical. This shows off the base color of the polish and shows how each one looks differently. These are taken indoors, in artificial lighting. Note, the shift is still very visible in indoor lighting, but I just love how they pop outdoors. Here is what I mean below. KBShimmer Multichromes, Swatches and Review The photos after are taken outside, in the shade, at angles. As you move your hand with multichromes, the magic happens! Shade and indirect sun show off the shifts the best. Here is what I mean by this below! KBShimmer Multichromes, Swatches and Review It's A Blazing: 2 coats. This one reminds me of autumn and pumpkin spice! It's a bronze to burgundy base that shifts to gold, orange, and a hint of green. I love this one! KBShimmer It's A Blazing KBShimmer It's A Blazing KBShimmer It's A Blazing KBShimmer It's A Blazing KBShimmer It's A Blazing Puns and Roses: 2 coats. This base is much pinker than A Blazing. As you shift, you see the same gold yellow and the green is much more obvious in this polish! KBShimmer Puns and Roses KBShimmer Puns and Roses KBShimmer Puns and Roses KBShimmer Puns and Roses KBShimmer Puns and Roses Chroma Chameleon: 2 coats. I think this will be a crowd favorite. It's a brighter pink base that shifts to copper, gold, and then a bright green. It is close to Puns and Roses, except the pink to green shift is slightly stronger and the base color is different. KBShimmer Chroma Chameleon KBShimmer Chroma Chameleon KBShimmer Chroma Chameleon KBShimmer Chroma Chameleon KBShimmer Chroma Chameleon Wine Not: 2 coats. This one is my absolute favorite! You can see straight on, the purple to burgundy shift! Then you move around and the most gorgeous gold and bronze reveals itself. It's like a beautiful sunset. I love this shift! KBShimmer Wine Not KBShimmer Wine Not KBShimmer Wine Not KBShimmer Wine Not KBShimmer Wine Not Iridescent Exposure: 3 coats. This is my second favorite. KBShimmer Iridescent Exposure KBShimmer Iridescent Exposure KBShimmer Iridescent Exposure KBShimmer Iridescent Exposure KBShimmer Iridescent Exposure Flip Flop Hooray: 3 coats. Press Sample Good morning! The weather went from kind of chilly and 50 on Sunday to 95 yesterday and today. To say NYC is unprepared is an understatement haha. I've been playing with the summer collection from Morgan Taylor for a few weeks with my reverse stamping and my gradient dry brush nail art, so now I've got my full review of these colors. Morgan Taylor Selfie Summer 2017 Collection, Swatches and Review Woke Up This Way: 3 coats plus top coat. This is a fuchsia neon, and it played tricks on my camera. It is way more neon in person. Because of the neon pigment, it dried matte, so top coat makes it come alive. Like many of the colors in the collection, 2 coats would suffice for most. I have very white nails, so I needed a third to cover up the slight VNL. Morgan Taylor Woke Up This Way Morgan Taylor Woke Up This Way All About the Pout: 3 coats plus top coat. I have worn this THREE times guys. It's one of my favorites. It's a light coral, almost peach, neon creme. I'm pretty obsessed with it since I keep wearing it. This does need three coats to level out, but I don't care. I love it! Morgan Taylor All About the Pout Morgan Taylor All About the Pout Best Face Forward: 2 coats plus top coat. I'm actually wearing this one now! It's so glowy. It may look dark, but it's actually weirdly bright. I don't know how to explain it. It has beautiful blue and purple flecks that come alive with top coat. I love when summer collections throw in that unexpected dark color. Morgan Taylor Best Face Forward Morgan Taylor Best Face Forward Morgan Taylor Best Face Forward Me, Myself-ie, and I: 3 coats plus top coat. 😲😲😲Apparently that's the astonished face! This and All About the Pout are my absolute must haves. This is a neon coral shimmer, it's amazing, and you need it. Like Woke Up This Way, my nails had the teeniest bit of VNL at two coats, so I added a third, but shorter nails will only need two. It also dried sown matte, so throw on some top coat. Love. Morgan Taylor Me, Myself-ie, and I Morgan Taylor Me, Myself-ie, and I Morgan Taylor Me, Myself-ie, and I No Filter Needed: 1-2 coats plus top coat. This is a great creme! I've found basically across the board, brands with neon blues make them opaque at 1-2 coats. The blue neon phenomenon. This one leans a bit teal, but my camera was like NOPE. As other bloggers post, just google this color. This is close though. It's got a great formula and I left it on for a bit and no staining! I want this on my toes (as I currently have a darker blue. Morgan Taylor No Filter Needed Morgan Taylor No Filter Needed Pretty as a Pink-ture: 3 coats plus top coat. This is a standard neon pink. Again, 2 coats showed slight VNL so I used a third coat. If you don't have a neon pink, then this is a great option! Morgan Taylor Pretty as a Pink-ture Morgan Taylor Pretty as a Pink-ture These retail for $9.00 but also come in cute duo sets. I think Ulta will probably get these in the next few weeks and it looks like this SITE is carrying them now! As usual, I love Morgan Taylor cremes, and I had a lot of fun playing with this collection. All About the Pout and Me, Myself-ie, and I are my two standouts, but this is a great cohesive collection. Press Sample Before I stash away the Zoya Wanderlust collection and focus on other summer collections, I wanted to share a few comparisons in this heavy pink collection. When Zoya releases so many colors, it's easy to say hmmmm, isn't that like this one? Well, I've done what I think are the closest colors so let's see who is a dupe! Zoya Wanderlust Comparisons I did two coats for an equalizer for each polish. First up are the purples! Index: Tina Middle: Lois (from Wanderlust). Already you can see Lois is a brighter and more deep purple. Ring: Liv Pinky: Audrina. These last two have way more pink in them. In the bottle, I thought for sure they would be a dupe, but I was wrong! Zoya Tina, Lois, Liv, and Audrina Zoya Tina, Lois, Liv, and Audrina Again, another similar in the bottle situation. Cora is much more opaque and more orange while Elodie is more jelly and probably needed one more coat. Index and Ring: Cora (Wanderlust) Middle and Pinky: Elodie Zoya Cora and Elodie Zoya Cora and Elodie Pink explosion. I have way too many Zoya pinks! Index: Zoya Esty, has a slight shimmer (Wanderlust) Middle: Zoya Byrnn Ring: Zoya Byrdie (Wanderlust) Pink: Zoya Lara While they are all slightly different, I'm not sure I need all of them! Zoya Esty, Byrnn, Byrdie, and Lara Zoya Esty, Byrnn, Byrdie, and Lara Zoya Sonja was a standout for my in this collection. Much sadness when I noticed it's literally the same as Zoya Dixie. Can you find a difference? Beyond a little bit more careful application, Dixie is pretty much Sonja. I wonder if they look different in sunlight because even on the site, they look similar. Index and Ring: Sonja (Wanderlust) Middle and Pinky: Dixie Zoya Sonja and Dixie Zoya Sonja and Dixie And last are the shimmers. Index and Pinky: Myrta. This one is way more orange. Middle: Journey: strawberry red Ring: Mandy: pink None of these are dupes! Zoya Myrta, Journey, Mandy Zoya Myrta, Journey, Mandy Well, there you have it! Yes, some colors are similar but only Sonja has an exact dupe. Otherwise, they are different. I guess it depends how much you like pink! Partial Press Sample Back in 2012 when I first started blogging, there weren't that many indies, and there really wasn't a thing such a press samples unless you worked with a few of the major brands. We would post our NOTDs (Nails of the Day) and whatever art we did rather than swatches. So I figured I would show you what I've been wearing in between swatch fests and bring back the good ol' NOTD! A lot of nail blogger actually don't wear nail polish on the reg! I always like to have my nails polished. It seems like when I don't, I have a massive break, which is precisely what happened this time! First, here is what I wore on vacation. Girly Bits Sequins and Satin Pants. It was the perfect sparkly polish although it hated chlorine so it's good I brought it with me to do touch ups over my 6 day vacation. You can only get this polish if you purchase the Sequins and Satin Pants collection. WORTH IT. Girly Bits Sequins and Satins Pants So I took my Girly Bits manicure off when I got back from vacation, and broke my nails putting on pants (my finger slipped out of the belt hold DAMMIT!). So I reached for a neon for my shorties! I love China Glaze Red-y to Rave. It's one of my favorite neons. China Glaze Red-y to Rave: 3 coats. This is just one of my favorites. Depending on your skin tone, it may lean more red or more orange! China Glaze Red-y to Rave China Glaze Red-y to Rave Orly You're Blushing: 2 coats. I ADORE this taupey purple. Believe it or not, my dad got me this polish! I wore this on Father's Day actually. I had planned to do some art over it, but I loved it so much, I left it alone. Orly You're Blushing Orly You're Blushing There you have it. Here's some NOTDs I wore between swatch sessions! Sometimes, after swatching 10+ polishes, I don't have it in me to do art, so I slap on an old favorite. I love re-using my polishes! Do you care for NOTD posts? Press Sample I told you this week would be holiday-themed! This week is not only the week before Easter, but Passover. Passover started on Monday night and lasts 8 full days. If you've seen the movie The Ten Commandments, you know more about Passover than you think! During these eight days, we abstain from anything leavened and grains. So no bread, pasta, rice, beans, crackers, etc. We rely on matzah during this time...a lot of matzah. Passover Nail Art: Matzah Nail Art I saw this manicure from Wacky Laki years ago. Apparently, 4 years ago. I had planned on doing it the next year...and then. Well, I finally did it! I used a variety of colors from Zoya and Girly Bits. My base is a bit too dark against the matzah itself, but it looked good when I did it on its own. There's always next year! Zoya Tatum was my base. Then I sponged on Girly Bits Irreplaceable. Zoya Desiree was my dots. My blobs were Zoya Nyssa and Girly Bits Yes, We Can! The ends of the matzah is Zoya Gina. All topped with matte top coat. Passover Nail Art: Matzah Nail Art Passover Nail Art: Matzah Nail Art Passover Nail Art: Matzah Nail Art Passover Nail Art: Matzah Nail Art Ok, now some normal posing. Now you see that the base doesn't look as dark. Funny how our eyes deceive us! Passover Nail Art: Matzah Nail Art Passover Nail Art: Matzah Nail Art Passover Nail Art: Matzah Nail Art I am so happy with my end result. Press Sample Mardi Gras is upon us! Fat Tuesday is just in a few days! I love New Orleans and everything about their culture. I went in 2011 and have been yearning to go back ever since. I would love to live there! Anywho, I have a simple Mardi Gras themed striped manicure featuring microglitters so let's check it out! Mardi Gras Nail Art: Mardi Gras Stripes Microglitter Stripes I started with a green base of Jessica Cosmetics Meet At the Plaza. I kind of wish I went with a base of Paint Box Polish The Knight Bus which is a purple, but oh well. The point is that I wanted a creme base for the sparkles to jump off of. I then used a striping brush and simply did random lines across my nails using Paint Box Polish I Want to be THE Queen (green), Gold Shall Be Their Crowns (gold), and The Purple Wedding (purple). These were all from summer's Westerosi collection and they are my favorite microglitters. I topped it all with one coat of top coat. Laissez bon temps rouler! Mardi Gras Nail Art: Mardi Gras Stripes Microglitter Stripes Mardi Gras Nail Art: Mardi Gras Stripes Microglitter Stripes Mardi Gras Nail Art: Mardi Gras Stripes Microglitter Stripes Mardi Gras Nail Art: Mardi Gras Stripes Microglitter Stripes Then I matte it because I love microglitters matte. Honestly, for Mardi Gras, it's all about the full sparkle and bling so shiny is my preference! Mardi Gras Nail Art: Mardi Gras Stripes Microglitter Stripes Mardi Gras Nail Art: Mardi Gras Stripes Microglitter Stripes All three microglitters are still available at Paint Box Polish. Press Sample Oh hello Monday! I'm not sad about that. It's the first week of June, which means, my birthday. Actually, it's tomorrow, and I'm on my way to a mini vacation (followed my an actual vacation at the end of the week!). To kick off my week, I've got a huge post for you! I showed you some nail art with four of the Summer Reign colors HERE, and I'll be back with more art hopefully this month, if not July. But I wanted to share swatches of these colors, so you can get them and rock them for summer! These aren't your typical neons, so take a seat and read on! China Glaze Summer Reign Collection, Swatches and Review All Glammed Up: 3 coats plus top coat. This is a bright minty shade. It leans a bit neon, so it needed top coat to shine. The formula is a little thin and watery so watch for cuticle flooding. It's really pretty. I think the hint of neon makes it unique in my collection. China Glaze All Glammed Up China Glaze All Glammed Up Chroma Cool: 2 coats. This and High Standards seem out of place in a summer collection. It's a brush-strokey metallic silver. The trick is to do as few strokes as possible when painting. The good news is that this stamps! It's not crazy opaque, but it does stamp! China Glaze Chroma Cool China Glaze Chroma Cool Flame-Boyant: 2 plus top coat. This is an orange leaning red that is very wearable for me. I usually don't love to wear red on my nails alone, but that hint of orange makes it special. It dries a little matte because of the brightens, but one coat of top coat makes it perfect. China Glaze Flame-Boyant China Glaze Flame-Boyant I Truly Azure You: 2 coats. A bright ocean blue shimmer is perfect for any summer collection. I love how vibrant this is. I think it will be a great pedi color too! No staining to report. China Glaze I Truly Azure You China Glaze I Truly Azure You Emerald Bae: 2 coats. Lol at this name. This color is very opaque and very shiny! Again, it's bright but not neon. It's really beautiful. I see myself reaching for this one a lot. China Glaze Emerald Bae China Glaze Emerald Bae High Standards: 1-2 coats. This one is more opaque than its silver counterpart. I used two coats just to lessen the brushstrokes. I don't really reach for gold in the summer, but I will stamp with this. China Glaze High Standards China Glaze High Standards Sun-set the Mood: 3 coats. Here's the one true neon in the collection! It's a super bright coral, which my neon collection needed! When it's matte, it's still so bright and my pictures look kind of blurry haha. It's just so bright! China Glaze Sun-set the Mood China Glaze Sun-set the Mood With top coat. This one is so bright! China Glaze Sun-set the Mood China Glaze Sun-set the Mood Rose My Name: 2 coats. Again, this one feels more holiday to me and it's similar to the berry shimmer from the winter collection. It's bright enough for a pedicure for me, but I wouldn't wear it alone until the fall. Rose is all the hype now for drinks, so enjoy it. China Glaze Rose my Name China Glaze Rose my Name Simply Fa-Blue-Less: 3 coats. This one is my least favorite of the collection. I just don't get why it's in here. It's a sheer jelly formula, so as you can see, there's still VNL at 3 coats. I just don't love jellies like this. I bet you could make a jelly sandwich with it though! China Glaze Simply Fa-Blue-Less China Glaze Simply Fa-Blue-Less Sultry Solstice: 3 plus top coat. This is freshly squeezed orange juice in creme form! It dries a bit matte because of the neon nature, but not matte enough to be left matte. With top coat, just wow! I love how this one looks. It's neon without being eye searing. China Glaze Sultry Solstice China Glaze Sultry Solstice Summer Reign: 3 coats. This is the namesake of the collection, and it's a good one! This one will probably be snatched up first. It's a vibrant purple that's bright enough for the summer. It dries gorgeously matte! There's a great shimmer in there that you can even see when it's matte. China Glaze Summer Reign China Glaze Summer Reign The violet shimmer comes out with top coat. I love this color both ways! China Glaze Summer Reign China Glaze Summer Reign Sunset Seeker: 3 coats. This is a matte polish. If it weren't, two coats would have done fine. You just need to work fast, and I didn't work fast enough on my second coat. If you have ridges like me, you might want a ridge filler if you intend to wear it matte. I love this shade of orange and I do love it matte! China Glaze Sunset Seeker China Glaze Sunset Seeker Here is Sunset Seeker with top coat. China Glaze Sunset Seeker China Glaze Sunset Seeker If you though some of these colors look similar, here you go! Top is Flame-Boyant, middle is Sunset Seeker, bottom is Sultry Solstice. The top two are similar, but Sunset Seeker leans more orange and is a matte formula. Overall, there's a lot of hits in this collection but also random colors I don't quite get and some that I won't reach for until the holiday season. My favorites are Summer Reign, Sunset Seeker, Sultry Solstice, and Sun-set the Mood. The China Glaze summer collection is available now! Press Sample I'm sharing with you two very Valentine's Day type colors, but they are staples for year round. I met with Londontown during Cosmoprof. They have a huge range of colors, but these two are definitely popular colors amongst all crowds. Londontown Londoner Love, Invisible Crown, and Smudge Fix Invisible Crown: 3 coats plus top coat. This is supposed to be one of those barely there colors. I did three coats to see if it would cover and it looked exactly like 2 coats, so stick with that. It will always show your nail line. It would be perfect for a French manicure though! It's a nice clean look. This is also perfect for jelly sandwiches. Remember those?! Londontown Invisible Crown Londontown Invisible Crown Then I added glitter tips. Isn't that gorgeous!? But I decided to play around with their Smudge Fix product. This is great for if you smudge or dent your polish. So see my middle nail. Check out that dent! Londontown Invisible Crown with Smudge Fix Here is after using Smudge Fix! For nicks and dents, the directions say to dab the polish color and immediately put the smudge fix on. As you can see, it does a pretty good job! This HAS to be done when you nick the polish. I'm not sure you could do this on dry polish. If I didn't tell you the dent was there, would you notice? Londontown Invisible Crown with Smudge Fix Londontown Invisible Crown with Smudge Fix Londoner Love: 2 coats. Reds like this always leave me with VNL. It's a super classic, bright red polish. Press Sample Oh hello! Sorry for the late night post, but I'm here! Remember my rainbow dotticure with a pot of gold for St. Patrick's Day a few weeks ago? Well I used the Sweet Cremes collection to create that look! Today, I'm sharing individual swatches of this collection! I keep reaching for it for nail art, and I've been really enjoying using these colors! Alter Ego Sweet Cremes Collection, Swatches and Review Cynthia was inspired by creme liquors, which is a fun collection! All of the polishes were 3 coats and all were opaque and shiny on their own except Creme de Banane which I added top coat to. These are in between crelly and creme. Creme de Cerise: 3 coats. Inspired by crushed cherries, this squishy deep pink definitely reminds me of cherries. I love how shiny this is on its own! Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Cerise Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Cerise Creme de Noyaux: 3 coats. I used this for my St. Patrick's Day dotticure and I'm obsessed with it. It's such a bright vibrant orange which a touch of pink. This is the perfect pedi color too! Noyaux is made with apricots. I haven't had this but I want to try it! Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Noyaux Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Noyaux Creme de Banane; 3 coats plus top coat. This one is the most creme polish of the collection, while the others are more crellie-like. I love the added brown flecks in this polish. It's like a real banana! This leveled out well, it just needed more shine with top coat. I love yellow polishes, and this one is not to be missed! Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Banane Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Banane Creme de Menthe: 3 coats. This was the other color in my dotticure with Noyaux. A great, squishy grass green. I love this color. I was really impressed with the coverage. Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Menthe Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Menthe Creme de Cassis: 3 coats. This is inspired by blackberry liquer. Another crelly, it just glides on to your nail. Look at how it levels and shines on its own. I'm just loving these cremes. Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Cassis Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Cassis Creme de Cocao: 3 coats. We need a chocolate inspired polish! I actually have been using this one a lot of nail art. It's a nice dark brown, but I love that it reminds me a cocoa powder. It's a soft brown and that's what I want as I head into spring. Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Cocao Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Cocao Overall, I've loved Alter Ego's creme collections! I think she does an excellent job with her formulas and they are great for nail art! I love the larger size of the bottle too, because I really do reach for them a lot and have a lot of dents. I bet these polishes would spread well in a watermarble too. Someone try it! Haha. Do you love these crellies?! These polishes will be available soon along with a large catalog of other polishes. You can receive 20% off the polishes with the coupon code ehmkay nails. Minis are 8.5 ml for $4.50 and full size is 17 ml (much bigger than a normal polish) for $9.00. I left all my photos large to click away :) KBShimmer Nauti by Nature Spring 2017, Swatches and Review When I saw this collection, I had to pull out my favorite beach towel because I am so ready for the beach! The polishes are just ready for the season too. KBShimmer Nauti by Nature Spring 2017, Swatches and Review First I'm going to show you all six holos! All the formulas were two coaters and for each polish, I have two shots in indoor lighting and two in direct sunlight. Here's a quick collage of the six in the sunlight. The holo flames are very strong. Are you swooning yet?! KBShimmer Nauti by Nature Spring 2017, Swatches and Review Macaw Me Maybe: 2 coats. Bright red holographic inspired by Macaws. Yup, I totally see it. It's a true red on me! It doesn't pull pink and it has a flawless application. KBShimmer Macaw Me Maybe KBShimmer Macaw Me Maybe KBShimmer Macaw Me Maybe KBShimmer Macaw Me Maybe The Girl is Tiki: 2 coats. Rusty coral. I LOVE this color! It's tropical but yet not too bright. I like that it's unexpected but it's really special. The holo is very strong on this one. It reminds me a Mai Tais. KBShimmer The Girl is Tiki KBShimmer The Girl is Tiki KBShimmer The Girl is Tiki KBShimmer The Girl is Tiki Copa-Banana: 2 coats. Golden yellow holo that's opaque in 2 coats?! What heaven am I in?! I'm in love love with this holo! I know people are meh on yellow, but not me. I love this. It's also a great shade of yellow because of the gold, so no lobster hands! KBShimmer Copa-Banana KBShimmer Copa-Banana KBShimmer Copa-Banana KBShimmer Copa-Banana Keep Palm and Carry On: 2 coats. A yellow leaning palm tree green! I love green polishes. I'm picturing this, with I Never Would Have Guessed for the perfect palm tree art. Oh yes, I'll be back with that! KBShimmer Keep Palm and Carry On KBShimmer Keep Palm and Carry On KBShimmer Keep Palm and Carry On KBShimmer Keep Palm and Carry On Tropic Like It's Hot: 2 coats. Turquoise waters. I love how vibrant this blue is. I didn't have any staining on my cuticles despite its opaque formula. Another happy camper. KBShimmer Tropic Like It's Hot KBShimmer Tropic Like It's Hot KBShimmer Tropic Like It's Hot KBShimmer Tropic Like It's Hot Latitude Adjustment: 2 coats. This represents the sun as dawn nears. It's a periwinkle holo, which you don't see too often. It's very different from Tropic Like It's Hot. I can't decide which I love more! KBShimmer Latitude Adjustment KBShimmer Latitude Adjustment KBShimmer Latitude Adjustment KBShimmer Latitude Adjustment Saved by the Shell: 3 coats plus top coat. Inspired by sea shells, this is so spot on. I happen to love shimmery neutrals, and if you just google any seashell, you can see the pink shimmer insides of them. This knocked it out of the park. I love this color on my nails. KBShimmer Saved by the Shell KBShimmer Saved by the Shell Got it Sandaled: 2 coats plus top coat. This is like the shimmer sister to Latitude Adjustment. Both are reminiscent of dusk but instead of holo, this has a beautiful pink shimmer. It's a bit lighter in person. The second photo is more accurate. KBShimmer Got it Sandaled KBShimmer Got it Sandaled Tempting Fete: 2 coats plus top coat. Then matte. I used KBShimmer Matte Top Coat for all the photos in the rest of the post. This is inspired by the costumes of Junkanoo. It's a rainbow of hex, mini hex, and mini bar glitter. Seriously a party on my nails. I love it matte where it reminds me of a frosted cake. Stars were plentiful without any digging. KBShimmer Starfishing for Compliments KBShimmer Starfishing for Compliments KBShimmer Starfishing for Compliments KBShimmer Starfishing for Compliments Salt Water Sassy: 2 coats plus top coat. Then matte. Heyyyy named after the candy from my home state. Ok but really, this is inspired by the Caribbean waters and the colors that bounce off it it. Coral, turquoise, yellow, and white glitters make for a great combination. I just love the coral and yellow glitter. KBShimmer Salt Water Sassy KBShimmer Salt Water Sassy KBShimmer Salt Water Sassy KBShimmer Salt Water Sassy Show Me the Mahi: 3 coats plus top coat. Then matte. MEET MY FAVORITE. I can't get over this color which is inspired by the deep waters. This is a deep blue jelly PACKED with holo glitter and color shifting iridescent glitters. Wait until you see it matte where I fainted and proclaimed that I never want to take this polish off! JUST YOU WAIT FOR SOME NAIL ART. Seriously, can I just blog about this polish from now on, everyday? KBShimmer Show Me the Mahi KBShimmer Show Me the Mahi KBShimmer Show Me the Mahi KBShimmer Show Me the Mahi KBShimmer Show Me the Mahi There's also a new mani shot scent: Knotty Girl. This is a combination of sweet melon, raspberry nectar, Italian lemon, creamy coconut, and raw sugarcane with a hint of banana. I hate banana scents but I couldn't pick up any in this. I LOVE this scent so I'm happy I couldn't smell the banana! I hope this comes out in the cuticle balm or sugar scrub! So there you have it! Do you have any favorites? My favorite holos are Copa-Banana, The Girl is Tiki, and Latitude Adjustment. My favorite shimmers are Show Me the Mahi, Saved by The Shell, and Starfishing for Compliments. There's really something for everyone here. But if you can only pick one, Show Me the Mahi....just trust me. And I used KBShimmer matte top coat in all my photos, so grab that too! The Nauti by Nature Spring 2017 Collection from KBShimmer is available on TOMORROW, March 18, 2017. Each polish retails for $9.25. There will also be set discounts as well. Alter Ego is one of the featuring brands this month, so let's see her contribution. Alter Ego Enamels Fantasmic Flakies Custom: Abie's Irish Rose Abie's Irish Rose: 4 coats plus top coat. This is actually a sheerer polish than I thought it would be and because I have longer and very white nails, there's still some VNL. If you have longer nails, I suggest layering this over a similar color. This is an emerald green shimmer base polish with dark flakes and holo flakes. It's a pretty combination and it reminds me of sparkling grass. The sporadic holo flakes add a nice touch! Press Sample Mondays are for a start of a new week and what better way than a refreshing collection of dusty cremes!? I'm a huge fan of creme polishes because I do a lot of nail art but dusty cremes are my favorite because they are so wearable! Girly Bits new Warrior Goddess collection evokes calm and beauty, so let's get started! Girly Bits Warrior Goddess Collection, Swatches and Review Ambition: 2 coats. Might as well start with my favorite. Ambition is a dusty hunter green creme and it's the exact green that I want to wear in February and March. I've moved on from hunter and dark greens but in no way do I want neon or pastel yet. This dusty green is perfection! Girly Bits Ambition Girly Bits Ambition Beautiful Soul: 2 coats. This is a dusty lilac creme. I'm loving this dusty look. I'm not quite ready for pure pastels and that tiny hint of grey makes this more wearable for me. I love this! Girly Bits Beautiful Soul Girly Bits Beautiful Soul Denim and Diamonds: 2 coats. I love this dusty denim blue. It's pretty close to being a one coater; it simply depends on how you paint. I adore this shade of blue. Girly Bits Denim and Diamonds Girly Bits Denim and Diamonds Irreplaceable: 2 coats. This is one of those perfect for nail art base colors. Sometimes, stark white just hurts my eyes! I love the stone color of this. It's sort of a griege. And the formula was fantastic. Girly Bits Irreplaceable Girly Bits Irreplaceable Love Yourself First: 2 coats. What makes this pink so special is the formula! It's also got a hint of dustiness but it's opaque in two coats. Usually colors like this are a pain! Girly Bits Love Yourself First Girly Bits Love Yourself First Yes, We Can: 2 coats. This is another perfect nail art base. Can you imagine this with a neon glitter topper too? So fun! I love how this neutral looks on me too. No lobster hands. Wonderful formula! Press Sample This month's Polish Pickup theme is Under the Sea! Alter Ego was inspired by a fellow maker's coral and the outcome is this glittery and shimmery top coat. Alter Ego is one of many makers in the Polish Pickup this month, where you get to curate your own box of exclusive polishes! Alter Ego Enamels Courtney's Frogspawn Coral Courtney, the owner of 6Harts, has an awesome aquarium at her home, and this is where Cynthia took her inspiration. Here's the photograph that the polish was inspired by! Courtney's Frogspawn Coral: 2 coats over Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Cassis (a blue creme). This is a green holographic glitter top coat with loads of blue, violet, and pink shimmer. It's sheer, so it's more of a layering polish. I did two coats, simply because I wanted more glitter! I topped it with one coat of top coat. I love the addition of the shimmer. Alter Ego Enamels Courtney's Frogspawn Coral Alter Ego Enamels Courtney's Frogspawn Coral Alter Ego Enamels Courtney's Frogspawn Coral Sunshine! Press Sample Good evening! Sorry for the late night post! I really wanted to share this duo from Girly Bits! Although a bit later this month, the May CoTM debuted a few days ago and the special pricing is through May 25th. These were inspired by Mother's Day and a big LOL to the names! Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya Shake What Ya Mother Gave Ya: 3 coats plus top coat. It's a lilac scattered holographic polish with purple flakes and pink shimmer. I love the shimmer! To me, it's what makes this polish stand out. I love that in some lighting, it sort of appears grey and others, it's very purple. Holo lovers will want this! Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya Direct Sunlight to show off the holo! Isn't it pretty?! Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya The pink shimmer is so pretty! It's really evident in person but easiest to see in the photos in the shade. The pink shimmer totally matches the other half of the duo. Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya Because I Said So: 2 coats plus top coat. Loooove this creme! Girly Bits has been killing it with two coater cremes! It's just awesome. It's a blush color that is a pinky neutral. It's like a dusty salmon. It's just a unique pink and I love it! Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya Girly Bits May CoTM: Because I Said So and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya Then I did some nail art with them! Partial Press Sample You know I'm all about the Zoya comparisons. I have a huge collection and I like being able to do comparisons whenever possible. I decided to separate out the post from yesterday's swatches. Since this is the third Naturel collection, I dug out some old ones to do a little comparison! This will help you decide what to grab during the 4 free sale! Zoya Naturel (3) Comparisons Tatum vs. Cala: Tatum is on my index and ring and Cala is on my middle and pinky. Cala is much lighter and sheerer and requires 3 coats. Because Cala is lighter, it's a bit more wearable for me. But of course, it needs that extra coat. Tatum vs. Cala: Tatum vs. Cala: Jill (index and pinky), Rue (middle), Brigitte (ring). Rue is way lighter and Brigitte is much pinker. I love all three. You can see how Jill leaves more mauve than pink. I think Brigitte is my favorite of the three but I like them all. I really thought there would be dupes, but nope! Zoya Jill vs. Rue vs. Brigitte Zoya Jill vs. Rue vs. Brigitte Mary (index and ring), Normani (middle and pinky). Ok, in the bottles, these looked exactly the same! But wow, they aren't at all on the nail. Both have that purple tinge, but Normani has more grey in it. I love both and both have great formulas! Zoya Mary vs. Zoya Normani Zoya Mary vs. Zoya Normani Gina (index and pinky), Desiree (middle), Nyssa (ring). Desiree is deeper and darker. Nyssa is lighter and brighter. I would say Nyssa is milk chocolate, Gina is hot cocoa, and Desiree is dark chocolate. I love each for their own reasons. I use Nyssa all the time for nail art! Clearly, there's no dupes! Zoya Gina vs. Zoya Desiree vs. Zoya Nyssa Zoya Gina vs. Zoya Desiree vs. Zoya Nyssa So no dupes here! I had nothing close to Cathy and Debbie, so that's why I didn't do there. I thought some colors might be similar, but I'm so happy to report they are all different! So which is your favorite? Zoya Naturel (3) Collection is available HERE on their web site. Press Sample I'm back with the Alter Ego contribution to the Polish Pickup. May is based on Science! Polish Pickup debuted last month and it was awesome. 18 makers. Exclusive polishes. Buy what you want. I wore this polish for a few days, and so many people commented on it. It's so awesome. Alter Ego Enamels Venus Venus: 2 coats plus top coat. Copper is a heavily used metal in science, and it is apparently synonymous with the goddess Venus, hence the name! This is a crazy cool polish. It's like loads of copper, bronze, and gold flakes, that come together totally smooth. It covered my nails it 2 coats and I used top coat for extra shine. It's just super unique. I wore it for 3 days, because I had to change my mani for Polish Con. No chips, really solid wear. It's really blingy but there's no glitter. It's layered looking, but it's completely flat. This might be one of my favorite Alter Egos ever! Alter Ego Enamels Venus Alter Ego Enamels Venus Sun to show how the shimmer, glow, and overall bling! Alter Ego Enamels Venus Alter Ego Enamels Venus I love the dimension of this polish. It's totally smooth to the touch, but it looks multi-dimensional. Overall, there's a lot of hits in this collection but also random colors I don't quite get and some that I won't reach for until the holiday season. My favorites are Summer Reign, Sunset Seeker, Sultry Solstice, and Sun-set the Mood. The China Glaze summer collection is available now!
