As you already know, Social Media has taken over every form of advertisement, but wait a minute, there are still loads of people that hasn't caught the social media bug. We have several millions of people in the world who engage in business daily, but do it the old fashioned way, which is buyer goes to the market and gets what he wants, not because he read a review of it on Instagram or on @Thebrandroombyabi, but just because he knows that when he gets to the market, he will find what he is looking for. Today I want to share with you what makes some brand thick, regardless of social media, consumers will find their way to them. Whether you run a small business or a big one you don't have to limit you client base to the internet savvy ones alone, you need to reach an audience beyond what the internet has provided through social media. 1. A Customized Thank You Card or Voucher. Big brands like Ralph Lauren know this trick, and that is why for every order you place on a Ralph Lauren website, you get a little thank you card with your order when it I delivered. This goes way beyond the regular email you get which says thank you for placing an order, this is a special card attached to you box of whatever you purchase. For some people, this thank you card makes them feel special and you can find such little cards in people's wallet, car, or wherever they choose to keep it. For some other big brands like Carters and Gymboree( those living in the US are familiar with these brands),occassionally, you get a thank you voucher from them. This means your next shopping with them comes at a discount, such discount cards are kept and by so doing, you always have such stores on your mind, when ever you think of shopping. Based on these thank you cards or vouchers, people refer other people to shop in such stores, and as they say, the best form of marketing is by word of mouth. 2. A Customized Greeting Card. Whether its Christmas, New-year, Easter or April Fools holiday, you need a branded seasons card for your business. A nice branded greeting card sitting nicely on an office desk or a living room attracts people to see where it came from. You have the option of advertising your business in a corner of the greeting card, which provides new or potential clients an avenue to know about what your business offers . Apart from having your logo or company name on such greeting cards, let it have simple message about the business in it. 3. A Customized Souvenir It doesn't have to be Christmas before you give your customers a gift. Gifts are timeless items that can be given at any time of the year. A nice mug, with your company logo is a very good way to tell others about your business, An innovative calendar is also another way to sell your business. I know a lot of people have ditched the calenders for their mobile phones, but hey if you are creative with your branded gift items, you will be amazed at how much customers it can attract to your business. There are other ways you can sell your business and expand your customer base without using social media. No doubt social media has helped a lot of businesses grow in recent times, but people can still use other means to attract new clientele.. Share your marketing ideas with the us.
