Hello friends! I'm back after some surgery on my left arm....doing a lot better now! And I've got a special Double Page kit to share with you today that I made for The Scrapbook Diaries! I had so many pretty papers and beautiful embellishments to use here, that I decided this one had to be a double kit....that's right, 2 page with 2 instructional videos.....and as always you get all the products I used to create these pages so you can make them exactly as I have or tweak it for your own style :) Lots of lovely chipboard pieces in this one, including this beautiful title chippie. I like to choose titles that will work for anyone's pages...just choose your family photo and add it in :) I just fell in love with the blooms in this kit....such a lovely variety....and I just love the little berries, they add such a whimsical touch! Lots of yummy Dusty Attic chipboard in this kit as well....my favorite zippers...and that Marrakesh Trellis is such a favorite for me as well! I used up every bit of it on these two pages. You also get a gorgeous TCW (The Crafters Workshop) stencil in this kit with my newest favorite mixed media product....Shimmerz 'Blushing Bride' Vibez spritz! It is so pretty! It is a beautiful rosey pink with hints of gold! .....Now for the second layout..... Again, I used a chipboard title that can work for anyone ordering the kit. For this one I used the gorgeous paper collection designed by Frank Garcia called 'Tales of You and Me" for Prima Marketing....I'm so in love with this paper collection! All the elements I adore in paper! Here's a closeup of some of the lovely page elements included in this kit. ... I didn't capture it as well in my photo as I would've liked, but the roses in this kit are so glittery and beautiful! Not knock you in your face glittery but that beautiful iridescent shimmer with a fine dusting on the blossoms....love it! (no pun intended LOL) As always I did a full video tutorial for both kit pages and Janene Meyerowitz (owner of The Scrapbook Diaries) has done a beautiful Bonus page as well. This kit is just packed full of pretty things to get your scrapping on..... you can order your kit today HERE! But.....I also have another little something to share with you before you leave today! ..... I was recently asked by Jennifer Hedger (owner of Dusty Attic Chipboard in Australia) to create a kit with a photo tutorial for their special retreat that they went on a few weeks ago. Last time I did this the ladies on this side of the pond were wanting to get their hands on this kit as well! So Janene at The Scrapbook Diaries worked with Jennifer Hedger to get all the chipboard specially cut for this kit and Janene put together the kit with all it's mixed media products, papers embellishments etc. so that you lovely ladies can get your hands on this kit as well! She saved it to release with my double kit so that you can save on the shipping! Yay! This kit includes Dusty Attic chipboard, blossoms, paints and mixed media products....fun embossing powder that adds a lovely texture and shine! I'm just loving the fine lattice included in this kit....randomly cut and peeking out from behind torn paper....it's such a fun design element. I show you step by step how I added the finishes to my chipboard pieces in the photo tutorial included in the kit... Here is more of a close-up of one of the leafy chippies so you can see the effect I got with the mixed media products included in the kit. I just love the mixed font titles that Dusty Attic has put out lately as well! They are so delicate and pretty! So if you'd like a go at this kit as well, you can order your's today at The Scrapbook Diaries....this is a special order that Janene put together so it's first come first serve, you may want to get your's before they run out. You can find this kit HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! It's good to be scrapping again! As always, I so appreciate your kind comments and feedback, you ladies make my day! xo

Hi friends! It's Nidia Rubio from Scrapamundi and today I'm sharing with you this double page layout. I'm working on my baby's first album and these are two of the pages. I'm mixing different types of composition in the album. Sometimes I put six photographs on a page without any embellishments or words, and sometimes I make a page like this with lots of decorations. I was helped by Steffi Ried and I'm so grateful for her advice. She helped me to make the composition when I was stuck and didn't know how to continue. So thank you Steffi! She helped me to realize that the photograph says everything and I must focus the attention on it by not adding too many embellishments. I wanted to use Paige's Floral Ampersand cut file since the first time I saw it and this layout was the perfect canvas. I backed it with papers from Truly Grateful. The flowers are filled with papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad and the ampersand is filled with papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. Do you see the foil details? I'm in love with that. Steffi advised me about the vellum letters. I used the Paige Font to cut the words, filled them with vellum, and added them with 3D foam. I made watercolor spots and added sequins to emphasize the beautiful cut files and placed three die cuts from Truly Grateful around the spread. And that's all! So simple but lovely. Sometimes you only need a beautiful photograph and some cut files by Paige Evans :) SUPPLIES: Patterned papers, die cuts, stickers, sequins: TRULY GRATEFUL; white cardstock; Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo 3; Cut files: Floral Ampersand and Paige Font by Paige Evans Location: Spain/ Blog: Scrapamundi / Instagram: @scrapamundi / Facebook: Scrapamundi YouTube: Scrapamundi / Pinterest: Scrapamundi

Sketchbook refrence work, a page looking into botanical illustration from over the years. I have used a cross section of media including watercolour and fineliner. Using different paper to work on has also been an essential part of these pages as I have experimented on working on sugar paper, newspaper and others. Never Give Up Card Hey There! It's Kim from the Fotobella Design Team. I have been working with the Hello Friend collection double page layout kit by Glitz Designs from Fotobella.com. I was amazed at how much product is included with the kit! I was able to complete a double page layout & still plenty of stuff left over. Each kit includes: beautifully printed double-sided papers from the collection, layered stickers, title stickers, paper layers, peek-a-boos, paper garland & washi tape (my favorite). One of my freinds was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I wanted to make a quick card for her to let her know that I will be here to support her through her treatment and recovery but also give her a few words of encouragemnt during this difficult time. The beautiful shades of pink and coral were perfect! To complete the card, you will need to purchase the kit from Fotobella.com. 1. Cut a 4'" x 8" piece of kraft cardstock and folded it in half for the card base 2. Cut a 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" piece of the coral dot paper and layered it onto my card front 3. Cut a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of the white heart paper 4. Adhere the circle Peek-a-Boo on top of the white heart paper (tip: use tiny glue dots behind the printed portion to avoid adhesive showing through) 5. Wrap taupe ribbon around the white heart paper & circle Peek-a-Boo 6. Adhere to the center of your card front with pop dots or dimentional tape 7. Adhere "Never Give Up" title sticker in the lower right hand corner of the card 8. Adhere Butterfly layered sticker to the very center of the card with dimensional tape or pop dots 9. Add button, gem & baker's twine to the upper left hand corner of your card, if desired Thanks for stopping by the blog today! Happy Crafting, Kim www.lifeembellishedinc.com

Welcome to the July Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! If you came from visiting Nikka Geers, then you are in the right place. If you just happened upon my little corner of the blog world, simply start here and continue hopping until you return here -- our fun hop is one big loop for your viewing pleasure. The month's featured stamp set is S1507 Life is Wonderful (pictured below). This set is only available until July 31st and is only $5 with a $50 Close to My Heart purchase. For today's layout, I used another sketch I found on Pinterest. I've been loving sketches lately -- now that Summer is here, I don't have as much time in my studio, and sketches help me get layouts done on my shortened time frame. I plan to add pictures to my layout from my cousin's recent baby shower. Her husband came and took lots of photos so I'm waiting for him to share them before deciding which ones to print. I knew I wanted the focus to be on the pictures so I kept the embellishments simple and followed the sketch closely. Supplies used: *Life is Wonderful stamp set -- July SOTM *Shower Flowers stamp set *Blossom paper packet *White Daisy cardstock *Glacier cardstock *Lagoon Exclusive Inks stamp pad *Smoothie Exclusive Inks stamp pad *Sunset Exclusive Inks stamp pad *Teal shimmer trim *Oceanside sequins *Buttons from my stash To order these or any of our other fabulous Close to My Heart products, please visit http://jddesigns.ctmh.com. Thank you for visiting me at JD Designs and for hopping with us on the Close to My Heart Stamp of the Month July Blog Hop! Next up on the hop is Brenda Lapp. I hope you'll hop on over to her blog for more inspiration. Until next time, happy crafting!
