Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are showcasing the amazing popular Daisy Delight stamp set This set also co-ordinates with the Daisy Punch - so popular it went on back order within weeks of launching! My project today utilises the smaller flowers in the Daisy Delight set, the set is "double stamp" which means you have one stamp for the detail of the image and another for the background - you can see this with the pink daisies below: I love how easy photopolymer stamp sets are to use to line up images for stamping, this enables you to use different colours for foliage and flowers with ease. I was also able to "bend" the long stems of the daisy to create the effect of a bunch below the Scalloped oval sentiment. I used the masking technique to break up the sentiment so that it fitted perfectly within stitched shape oval - I adore these framelits, the stitching has such a lovely delicate effect, and layer beautifully with the Layering Ovals framelits. I mixed up the Bakers twine for something a bit different, and just love how this turned out. Check out all the great projects from the Design Team click here, we would love you to participate in our weekly challenges at What Will You Stamp? why not play along with this week - We'd love to see what you create! No, I'm not talking about hair color- lol! Today, I have a sneak peek of a quick card I put together using some NEW items that will be available for purchase in the upcoming 2017-2018 annual catalog!!! Here's my nice and easy sneak peak: Eeeek! I so love the new Daisy Delight stamp set and matching Daisy punch! This will be a new must have bundle to put on your wish list! Attendees of Onstage were able to order select items- and although I got the stamp set for FREE while I was there, I of course had to get the matching punch with my pre-order. :) And how about the cool Faceted Gold Gem in the center of the daisy? Another new must have item for your wish list! And the last sneak peak item on this card is the delicious DSP called: Wood Textures. These 6 x 6 papers are so on trend! To be fair, I must tell you that I paired the Daisy punch for a leftover die cut flower from the Succulent Dies Framelits that I had made for my previous card (see post below this). I also used an unused strip of Serene Scenery DSP that was laying on my stamping table- hence the "nice and easy" card. I punched out 2 daisy images to create the flower and added an Oh So Succulent die layer. To soften it up a bit, I sponged the tips of the flower petals with my White Craft pad. Card stock is Delightful Dijon and Whisper White. Happy stamping!

Oopsie, my final Daisy Delight project share didn't post when I'd planned, but here I am now, better late than never to share two daisy cards. Both feature the same basic design, with different looks. First up is a fresh daisy in night of navy, wisteria, white & yellow. This was one of my Daisy Delight class projects. I do love that daisy - it's stamped on whisper white with night of navy ink that's been stamped off once to soften the colour, the centre is daffodil delight, topped with a fab gold faceted gem. The square grid background was easy to make with the using the a Stitched Shapes square die & two pretty prints from the Delightful Daisy paper pack. White & wisteria wonder layers, & a wisteria sentiment banner complete the layout. Sweet & simple on the inside - more stamped daisies and another sentiment from Happy Birthday, Gorgeous. This would have to be my most used sentiment stamp set since its release. Berry Daisy Next up is an in-color version in a favourite trio of berry burst, fresh fig, & powder pink. For this one, I repeat stamped the daisies partially on six stitched squares in berry burst ink. You could create a similar watermark look with versamark ink too. The main daisy is stamped in berry burst with a fig and clear faceted gem centre. Same banner sentiment stamped in fresh fig on powder pink card. The inside was very similar to the first one, but I forgot to photograph it. Sorry! So there you have it. Same layout - two ways. This layout could be used for so many images & is a great way to use scrap paper & card. Here's a combined image of both cards to pin for later inspiration. Or these ones if you'd like to save them separately. If you'd like to make your own, check out the supply lists below to shop the things you need. Thanks so much for stopping by. The name of this bundle says it all - Daisy Delight - it belongs to the Delightful Daisy Suite. The Suite has coordinating Designer Series Paper, Card Stock, Faceted Gems, Double Stitched Ribbon in Daffodil Delight (even the colours sound like they fit right in), a Daisy punch and the beautiful Daisy Delight stamp set. This Suite featured heavily at my launch last weekend and was very popular. Here are some of the items on display. A bucket full of flowers just like the real ones. The little buckets can be purchased from Kmart in Australia - gold or black. A close up of the flowers - the shape to the petals was from the bone folder. Oh and yes I am still engraving the Bone folders here in Australia you just need to pop me a message via my Facebook page HERE. Not on Facebook? I can be contaced through the 'Contact Me' button on my Stampin' Up! site. My mum is one of my greatest cheer leaders and its not uncommon to be asked for a card for a friend - usually with a 'Oh I need to leave in 10 - can you do it?' So the bucket of loveabove went to our friend Joyce for her 80th birthday - I popped a 80 cake topper in there to add to the flowers. Below is the matching card with the sentiment from the 'Happy Birthday Gorgeous' stamp set. Joyce and all the extended family mum was with loved it! This card was one for my display with the sentiment from 'Just Add Text'. So now about my Daisys - I am guessing you would like to know how I made them. I purchased florists wire 28 and 18 gauge (because that's all they had) a small bucket and some fake greenery to pop in it, the other thing that's important is a ring of foam - I painted mine black to match the bucket. Using the Daisy Delight Bundle and a few extra goodies the flower bucket is not difficult. I punched 2 Whisper White flowers, a 1" circle that then has a small 1/16" hole punched in it, a Elegant Eggplant spot that's stamped (using the Daisy Delight Stamp set Daisy center) tone on tone then punched using the 1/2" circle. A piece of wire and a small pair of long nose pliers. I used Multi Purpose Glue and Glue dots. Using the dauber I coloured the centers of the White flowers just a little. The wire gets bent twice first to form a small hook then a second to lay that hook flat over the 1" circle. If you look closely you can see where the Glue dots have landed. If you prefer you can use Multi Purpose Glue for added strength - I do on the 1" circle, the glue dots hold long enough for the glue to dry and between the 2 adhesives they haven't failed me yet. So add the 3 layers of flower together - now you can add a little colour to the petal tips and shape your petals with your bone folder. You will note mine are not perfect or symmetrical. I found turning the flower upside down on the work surface makes it easier to attach the 1" circle to the flower back. The wire and foam makes positioning the flowers in the arrangement easy. This photo below is where my inspiration comes from - I took a photo of some real Daisy's in my Physios garden one day that were just so pretty. So I couldn't help myself it was Daisy's everywhere - here is a coloured bucket. These ones were all stamped with the daisy stamp before punching them out as well. The centers in these ones have a dimensional under them - I am loving the small dimensionals for this small pop. The Pumpkin Pie flowers actually have 3 layers for a fuller flower. To make the 3D Inspired Daisy's you will need these goodies - the Elegant Eggplant Cardstock you only need a scrap of though! In Australia you can click the pictures to be taken to the online store. Daisy Delight Photopolymer Bundle [145361] Whisper White A4 Card Stock [106549] Elegant Eggplant A4 Card Stock [108614] Elegant Eggplant Classic Stampin' Pad [126969] Sponge Daubers [133773] Glue Dots [103683] 1" Circle Punch [119868] 1/2" Circle Punch [119869] 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch [134363] Liquid Multipurpose Glue [110755] I hope you like my flowers - Till next time - Courtenay Do you live in Australia and would you like to become a Demonstrator, earn discounts, great rewards and get to craft with Stampin' Up! products before their release?
