Here's a pretty uncommon and early Sanyo portable transistor radio. The 7S-07 exhibits a great automotive design which was a popular design trend in the 1950's and early 60's. The upper dial area reminds me of a vintage car dashboard. The metal handle should have a four or five inch piece of light blue plastic trim attached, unfortunately it's missing. I found this at a local radio swap meet last year - it was a $15 investment so I didn't let the fact the handle was missing prevent me from buying this hard-to-find gem. This radio has the AM band and one Shortwave band. Circa 1960.
