Die Prozesse der Emotionsregulation (ER) werden durch die wechselseitige Beziehung zwischen Eltern und ihren Kindern gebildet und können daher durch elterliche oder kindliche Risikofaktoren beeinflusst werden. Einen kindlichen Risikofaktor stellt die Autismus-Spektrum-Störung (ASD) dar. Eine ASD erschwert es Kindern, ihre Emotionen zu regulieren. In vorangegangenen Studien hat sich gezeigt, dass das mütterliche Temperament und der Erziehungsstil signifikante Effekte auf die kindliche ER haben. Da diese Effekte noch nicht bei Kindern mit ASD untersucht wurden, soll die vorliegende Studie Aufschluss über die genannten Einflussfaktoren geben, um daraus gegebenenfalls Interventionen ableiten zu können.
