Happy March! I am using the Magnolia Mood set for first time today. It will be available with the online exclusives on March 5th. I have photographed this several times but the background continues to look so light. I have a white base and a layer of Lemon Lolly card stock and the another layer of white ran through with the Softly Sophisticated embossing folder. I then stamped the flower image and the bud image on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Stampin Blends markers. I cut them out with the matching dies plus some more leaves in white card stock. I ran the Lemon Lolly ribbon in a Z pattern on the back before popping all on. The sentiment from the same set was stamped on white in black ink on the Stylish Shapes banner die. I finished with some Lemon Lolly dots. Hope you have a blessed weekend! Thanks for stopping by! Windy Stamp set: Magnolia Mood Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Stampin Blends markers- light and dark Lemon Lolly, light and dark Mossy Meadow Paper: Basic White, Lemon Lolly Magnolia Mood dies, Lemon Lolly ribbon, Softly Sophisticated embossing folder, Lemon Lolly dots, Stylish Shapes dies

I am absolutely in love with the new Magnolia Mood bundle. With just a little color the flower is definitely a WOW image.
Basic Beige with Magnolia Mood Hello. Welcome to Valley Inspirations with Andrea and the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week we are focussing on a new Basic colour that was added to Stampin’Up!s colours in May, with the introduction of the new Annual Catalogue. From next week we will be working though the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order, focussing on one colour each week. This week’s Blog Hop is focussing on a light sandy colour called Basic Beige. Basic Beige has been added to the Basics Colour Family and is a neutral that can coordinate with so many colours. Apart from a neutral background colour it would be wonderful for sand, wood and anything requiring a pale sandy colour. Basic Beige is produced in Stampin' Up!'s card-stock, ie A4; Classic Stampin' inks (ink pads & re-inkers); both Country Woods and Country Lace Designer Series Paper as well as Bordered Ribbon and the Ephemera Packs. Almost every day I walk past a magnificent magnolia tree. It has given me a real fondness for magnolia flowers and so I was delighted when the Magnolia Mood bundle was released as an On-Line Exclusive. I recently saw a beautiful photo of pinky magnolias with a beautiful blue sky and so was inspired to create this card. The frame was cut using another On-line Exclusive, the Radiating Stitches dies with Basic Beige card-stock.The inner layers were also cut with these dies. The background inside the frame is a panel from the Country Lace DSP and the central panel was cut from Basic White card-stock. It was coloured with a little Balmy Blue ink and a Blending Brush. The large magnolia image from the Magnolia Mood stamps was stamped in Basic Beige Classic ink. When it is first stamped it has a distinct green tinge, however, this disappears as the ink dries. The image was coloured with Stampin’ Blends, ie Pretty in Pink, Old Olive combos plus a little Crumb Cake - the Light Crumb Cake Blend is perfect for Basic Beige. Plus the Colour Lifter to soften highlights. A little Versamark ink was swiped over bits of the Basic Beige frame then White Emboss Powder was sprinkled over and it was melted with a Heat Tool. To carry the white through, some foliage was cut from Basic White card-stock using both the Magnolia Mood dies and the Thoughtful Wishes dies. Some Linen Twine was wrapped around the framed panel. A sentiment from the Magnolia Mood stamps was white heat embossed and fussy cut. A triple bow was tucked under the coloured magnolia. The final touch - a sprinkling of the gorgeous In Color Shimmer Gems. Inside the card, the magnolia was stamped onto a Basic White panel with Basic Beige ink and a thin strip of Basic Beige card-stock was adhered at the base. A C6 Basic White envelope was also stamped with the magnolia in Basic Beige ink. Thank you so much for dropping by on your way around the Basic Beige Colour Creations Blog Hop. When this set was first released and I layed eyes on it, I hesitated for a second and then kept scrolling! I know right. I thought to myself "nope, I dont think I will use that" and I was very unsure whether to get it. Well wasnt I all sorts of wrong! It only takes 1 card, that you stumble upon on Pinterest and boom....add to cart! I saw something similar to this one so I CASE'd it and changed a few elements. It's such an elegant set and who would have thought that Pebbled Path, Basic White, Vellum and Gold would be a stunning combo. I'm a bit disappointed that Vellum is retiring, I have no idea why, it's so versatile. Just a tip, when cutting the Magnolia Dies in white, use Thin White cardstock, not think and make sure to do several passes back and forth through the cutting machine to ensure you get a clean cut through the cardstock. You will need a sharp pokey tool to poke out all the bits. I love this card and I can't wait to send it to someone. Thanks for stopping by to check out my card today. All items used to make this card feature below and are available from my online store anytime. Until next time Happy Stamping! Pebbled Path A4 Cardstock [161731] $17.50 White Vellum A4 Card Stock [106584] $17.50 Basic White A4 Cardstock [159228] $18.50 Stylish Shapes Dies [159183] $53.00 Everyday Details Dies [162864] $60.00 Magnolia Mood Bundle (English) [163507] $96.25 Sweetly Scripted Cling Stamp Set (English) [163600] $42.00 Pebbled Path Classic Stampin' Pad [161648] $15.75 Silver & Gold 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 Cm) Adhesive Backed Glimmer Paper [162288] $12.25 2023–2025 In Color™ Dots [161620] $14.00 Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] $7.50 Multipurpose Liquid Glue [110755] $9.75
Welcome to the third Monday of the month... and another Stamp Review Crew hop! The "Crew" is made up of a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. Today we are featuring Good Morning Magnolia, a truly splendid stamp set that is part of the Magnolia Lane Suite. If you just came from Holly's blog, The Rubber Redneck, you can continue on by clicking the "Next" button below. If you want to go back and admire Holly's projects again, just click "Previous"! Today I have two cards and a 3D project! Okay, now pick yourselves up off the floor....I do occasionally make something other than cards, and this is going to be a pillow gift filled with chocolates for my daughter when she comes to visit in a few weeks. I started with a 4" x 4" sheet of Magnolia Lane DSP and scored/folded at 3/4" all around to make the lid for the box. Then I used a 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" piece of Whisper White Thick, scored/folded at 1" all around to make the box bottom. The magnolia and leaves were made using the Magnolia Memory Dies that coordinate with the stamp set. The next project is a card that features that gorgeous BIG magnolia blossom. It's so much fun to color! I used the Old Olive Foil from The Noble Peacock Suite and embossed with the Scripty 3D folder, then adhered it to a Mossy Meadow mat. The blossom was colored with Light Petal Pink, Light Mango Melody, Bronze, and Mossy Meadow Combo Stampin' Blends. After it was colored, it was cut with the die and adhered to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. Some Old Olive rhinestones (also from the Noble Peacock Suite) were added to dress it up a bit more. Next is something a little different....a CAS thank you card. I wanted to get away from the magnolia for this one, and the flourish and scripty Thank You just begged for something different. The flourish mimics the lines of the border die beautifully. I decided to add some more foil from Noble Peacock (seriously, Stampin' Up! needs to carry foil in ALL the colors!) along the bottom of the border. Everything was stamped in Night of Navy, with the exception of the leaves, which are Seaside Spray stamped off once. A bit of gingham from the new Neutrals DSP was the perfect "foil" to the foil, don't you think? Up next is New Zealand crew member Nikki Spencer over at My Sandbox. I can't wait to see what she has done with this magnificent magnolia suite! Today's card is a combination of retiring and new products. I'm sad about some items that are retiring, and I'm excited about ALL the new products, so I've combined them on this card. Ok, so what is retiring that is featured on this card? The Lazy Days Bundle is retiring. It has lots of cute elements that I love, especially this sweet little birdhouse! And I like the 'welcome' sentiment. You don't find that often, and It is a sentiment that is needed! The card itself has a Basic White card base with another 5' x 3-3/4' piece of Basic
