The More Than Autumn bundle is one of my favorites from the Sept.-Dec. mini catalog which went live yesterday. It's just such a fun stamp set and a great set of coordinating dies that I've found myself reaching for it more and more often. I used it for today's card where I'm playing along with the Hand Stamp Sentiments challenge where they have a versatile sketch. So cute right? I think I might have to make a batch of this design for my Thanksgiving cards that I usually send out to my aunts and uncles and other family that I won't see on the holiday. The card base is Crumb Cake but it's covered by a piece of 2024-2026 In Color DSP in Peach Pie. Next is a layer of Crumb Cake and then a layer of Basic White embossed with the adorable Eyelet embossing folder. I tied a piece of linen thread around this panel for some more texture then popped it all on dimensionals. The pie slices are stamped in Memento black and then colored with Blends markers. The whipped cream dollop is stamped off Pecan Pie ink. All the piece are die cut then added to the embossed panel. The whipped cream is popped on a mini dimensional. Finally the fun sentiment! I stamped the 3 part mix and match sentiment in Memento black right onto the DSP. I was hoping I didn't goof up and have to start all over! It's hard to see but I added a Peach Pie In Color Shimmer gems. Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today? All of the items used to make this card can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE. Stamps: More Than Autumn Ink: Memento black, Pecan Pie Blends: Pumpkin Pie light & dark, Pecan Pie light & dark Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic White, 2024-2026 In Color DSP Accessories: Eyelet embossing folder, More Than Autumn dies, dimensionals, linen thread, In Color Shimmer Gems

Hello stamping friends. Thank you for joining me on my blog today. I hope that you've had a fantastic week and are having fabulous day! Today I'm participating in a blog hop for the CASE-ing the Catty Design Team, to kick off the new challenge for the week. If you come here from Kathryn Mangelsdorf's blog welcome, if you've started here with me also welcome. We are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Catalogues with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit. This week we are CASE-ing any project in the 2024 - 2025 Annual Catalogue. I was drawn to this gorgeous sample from the Annual catalogue that uses the Cutest Onesie Bundle found on on pg. 64. It's one of those samples that sometimes "If you blink you'll miss it" but I loved the design of it and thought it was perfect to CASE. I thought this little 3"x 3" card/gift tag/ gift card would be perfect to use with some of the new products that I've just recieved in my Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue preorder. I've created these 4 3"x 3" card/gift tag/ gift cards using the new A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Mix & Match Ephemera, and the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack from the up coming 2024 Sept-Dec Holiday Catalogue. So another sneak peek for you all. These three products all have similar colours and all work so well when used together. I'm loving these products! They make for fun, easy and quick crafting with your own personal touch. All four cards have kept the same design as the original sample with the use of the different DSP patterns and the Stylish Shapes circle embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (also from the 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue) and then it was just a matter of changing up the pre-cut pieces to coordinate with the colours in each DSP pattern. Each card is then finished off with various ribbon, trim and embellishments. I've used some new ones from the new Mini Catalogue like the Pool Party Pompom Ribbon and the Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments and used some trusty old faithful trims like Linen Thread and Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon from the Annual Catalogue. I hope I've inspired you with my CASE of an Annual Catalogue sample. Be sure to look at each and every sample in the Annual Catalogue as even the smallest of projects may help you with your creative ideas. There are lots of AMAZING creations from the rest of the CASE-ing the Catty Crew so be sure to make your way around the whole hop to get inspiration from the CTC team. Next up on the hop is the lovely Rebecca Scurr with her fabulous creation. Julia Quinn Kathryn Mangelsdorf Rochelle Blok - You are here Rebecca Scurr Peta Stephen Rachel Palmieri Rochelle Laird-Smith Monique Fielder We would love to have you join us over at our Facebook group to share your creation CASE-ing a project from the 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up! Pleated Paper Theme! Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. It’s all about PLEATS today for our theme and I created a neat pleated layer on the […]
I was inspired by 2 different challenges to whip up this card this afternoon. The first is the layout over at Freshly Made Sketches which I turned (because the elements I wanted to use just worked better in landscape) and the theme of stripes or spots from The Paper Players. This inspiration brought me to making a Christmas card combining several new products which will be released for customers on Wednesday September 4. As soon as I saw "stripes" I thought of this fun candy cane like pattern from the Sentimental Christmas DSP. I added a small scallop down the edge using the retired Basic Borders dies and then adhered it to a Shaded Spruce card base. I added some retired Shaded Spruce and gold ribbon behind a Basic Gray oval. The fun cup from the More Than Autumn bundle is stamped in red, the cuff is stamped again in Shaded Spruce and paper pieced to the cup and the whipped cream is stamped off once Basic Beige. That is all popped up with dimensionals on the the oval. A small candy cane is added to the cuff and is also popped on dimensionals. The awesome sentiment is made using Peaceful Season dies and layering the red over the white outline. Again using dimensionals to adhere it. The "in the air" part of the sentiment is stamped in Shaded Spruce and then trimmed down to fit. I sprinkled some gold sequins around the card and then added some clear Wink of Stella highlights on the whipped cream and small candy cane. Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today? All of the current supplies used to make this card can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE. Items marked with a * will be available to purchase starting September 4, 2024. Stamps: More Than Autumn*, Peaceful Season* Ink: Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Basic Beige Paper: Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Basic Beige, Basic White, Sentimental Christmas DSP* Accessories: More Than Autumn dies*, Peaceful Season dies*, dimensionals, gold sequins, ribbon (retired), Basic Borders dies (retired), oval dies (retired)
