I'm obsessed with the rain boots and watering can in Stampin' Up!'s Flowering Rain Boots stamp set and Rain Boots Dies!
Hey there! I thought it would be a good idea to show you another card made with the same simple layout as yesterday but with a couple of different stamp sets! Note: I have posted the measurements at the bottom...
Hi! It's Anja here. I finally got my package, full of beautiful new Cottage Cutz dies. Today I wanted to create a bit of spring. We're still having a lot of snow and it's snowing again today. And if I can't have spring outside, I can make it on my cards. I made to small cards today. If you add an Easter egg or two, you can easily turn it into Easter cards. For my two cards I used: - Cottage Cutz dies (Spring Basket, Spring Meadow, Spring Watering Can, Nested Stitched Scallop Circle Set, Circle Set), - Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo, Black Soot), - white card base (two 4x4 inch), - patterned paper (two 10x10 cm), - white card stock for die cuts, - silver pigment ink, - black pen, - white foam, - paper glue. First I cut all the circles. I cut two of each. I used the largest circle die for scalloped circles and the second largest from the circle set. I wanted a bit of dimension on the card, that's why I used foam and cut two circle frames with the two largest circle dies. I glued the foam on the scalloped circle frame. Then I cut two squares for the background. I used patterned paper from my stash. Then I cut all the other pieces and colored it with Distress Inks. This watercan die is so beautiful. And then I just assembled and gued everyything together The final result is two mini spring cards. I hope you have a beautiful Sunday. See you again next week. Anja Z. Cottage Cutz dies I used:

I have had a very busy and productive day today! My day started at 1:30 this morning with my phone ringing every 3-5 minutes. I was on call ...
Hi stampers! Time for a new Card Concept challenge, where we describe the concept we use to create our cards! Here's the pretty prompt for this week's challenge: What a pretty spring vignette! I was enamored by those pretty boots, so here's my Clean-and-Layered card for today: Truthfully, I had this card started with something else in mind, but when I saw the challenge photo, I changed it up a bit! The boots were stamped in Petal Pink on some rosebud paper from BoBunny's Pincushion collection. They are so cute, I wish I had a pair just like it! I stamped, colored and diecut the other elements of the card: watering can, flower pot and tulips....then layered them on a piece of Basic White cut with the Scalloped Contours dies. I also stamped the little seed packet with Versamark ink on the Calypso Coral card base, then heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is from Best Year! I also added a little bit more color on the flowers with my watercolor pencils! This is certainly a bright card...hopefully it will cheer up the recipient! And hopefully you'll be able to play along with us as well! Be sure to tell us what your "concept" is (you can see the details on the Card Concept blog) as well! Thanks for visiting today! The drama continues....this silly pup! She is bound and determined to stay in that wee little bed!! Enjoy your day and be blessed! Flowering Rainboots Customer Thank You Cards using the gorgeous Flowering rainboots Bundle from Stampin Up
I made a get well card, using the Watering Can and Flowers die set from Hero Arts. For the background I took a piece of white cardstock. I stamp and heat embossed the Woodgrain Backdrops stamp onto it (from Lawn Fawn). I used white embossing powder for a tone on tone look and I love it. I die cut all the elements from white cardstock as well and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used: Watering can: BG18 - BG72/ C2 - C3 - C5 Flowers: R32 - R35/ Y15 - Y17/ YG03 - YG13 I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of Narwhal cardstock. I assembled the card and left it as is. I really like the clean look, with the bold colors of the die cuts. This die set is different from what I usely use, but I'm loving it. ...or should I say SNOW or shine?!? We are on day 3 of snow, snow, snow! Thankfully we are all still on winter break and if the weather man is correct, warmer temps are on the way at the beginning of next week. Hopefully this means no school closures due to snow...fingers crossed! While it continues to dump snow, I'm dreaming of spring flowers! If you love flowers and gardening as much as I do, you'll want to add the the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle to your January-June 2022 Mini Catalog wish list. Only a few more days and this catalog will be live and ready for you to shop! While you wait, I'll share this cheerful little card! With the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set, I stamped a few of the flower pots in Misty Moonlight, filling them with Blushing Bride Tulips and So Saffron daisies. The watering can was stamped in Smoky Slate and the cute little seed packet was stamped in Mint Macaron. All of these bits and pieces were all die cut with the coordinating Rain Boots Dies. These Mint Macaron stripes from the Hand-Penned DSP went along beautifully with all of the stamped and die-cut images. The DSP and a panel of Basic White were cut out with the Stitched Rectangles for just the right amount of texture. The raindrops from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials embellishments were the perfect final touch! Oh, and I can't forget the heat embossed and fussy cut sentiment. Is this becoming my signature piece for every card I make?!?! I've finished putting away all of my Christmas decorations, cleaned the house and shoveled snow several times...I think I deserve some more stamping time! Happy Stamping friends! Just a quick share today to show off the Flowering Rain Boots bundle. I'm behind on a few projects and I need to get cracking! I made this card a few weeks back just to play around with some of the stamps and dies in this cute bundle. I love that the flowers in the set can be used a few different ways and the the watering can makes a fun vase! The cool lattice die is fun because you can use it singly or in multiples to create a larger element. And you get the fun square off cuts to be used if you want also. Hopefully yours will get adhered more aligned than mine lol! I'm looking forward to making a lot of pretty spring flower themed cards for birthdays in the next few months. We've got a lot of gardeners in our family so I think they enjoy cards made with this bundle! Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today? Stamps: Flowering Rain Boots, Catch You Later Ink: Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Bumblebee, Petal Pink Paper: Balmy Blue, Basic White, Night of Navy, SunShine & Rainbows DSP (SAB) Accessories: Rain Boots dies, Stitched So Sweetly dies, dimensionals, Petal Pink cotton ribbon, enamel dots (retired)

I created a thank you card with the Watering Can and Flowers die set from Hero Arts. For the background I used Kraft cardstock. I added splatters onto it, using Chinese White watercolor and gold watercolor. I die cut the elements from white cardstock and used Copic Markers to color them. Here are the colors I used: Watering Can: R32 - R35 - R39/ W0 - W3 Tullips: YR00 - YR61 - YR02/ BV02 - BV13/ YG03 - YG13 Leaves: YG03 - YG13 I assembled the watering can and adhered it onto my background with foam tape. I die cut the word 'thanks' from white cardstock, using the Thanks Word die from Paper Smooches. I adhered the word to the panel and rounded off the bottomt right corner. It's only a few simple die cuts, but you can create some many great designs with these. These rain boots are made from a natual, flexible and lightweight rubber so they can be rolled up and down for easy carrying or packing. You know what that means - puddle jumping or running through the mud never has to be off the cards if you keep these in a bag or the boot! Aside from being able to play in the rain, what they'll love most is the hand-drawn print that adorns the rain boots and the unique-to-Joules measuring tape to the back which will allow them to measure the depth of puddles or snow. When it comes to grip the water dispering outsole pushes water outwards giving the foot better contact with the ground. To ensure they stay in tip-top condition we've given them an easy wipe-clean construction and made the insoles removable so they can be washed or replaced when needed. There really are so many more features to explore (including a reflective back strip for safety when the grey clouds make it a little darker!) Psst... when storing the boots ensure you unroll them so they stand upright until their next use.
