I confess this is not my kind of colour combination at all. I like my colours dark and dirty, but needs must. It is, after all, Mix It Up Monday and time for another project made with a colour combination from my latest set of In Color charts. I set myself the challenge of creating a project using the new Paisleys & Posies stamp set - again, not my style at all, but it’s good to get out of your rut now and again! Hello! This is a warning - THIS POST IS EPIC!!! But, I have some absolutely AWESOME information in todays post - I am going to share with you some information about the BRAND NEW 2017/2018 Annual Catalogue. Wanna see what it looks like? Do you want to see the cover up close? Unfortunately - thats all of the actual catalogue I can share with you until June 1, 2017. Bummer, hey? Do you want to see and order from the catalogue earlier than that? As in today? Join my team and you can see it and order the Eastern Palace Suite RIGHT AWAY! Did you see the card I made using this suite? In case you didnt, here it is. But, like I said, this is an EPIC post. While I can't share with you images from the catalogue, I can share with you some more information from the recent OnStage Local Event Bruno and I attended on the weekend in Sydney. And, if you read this post, you will see NEW PRODUCTS!!!! LOCATION If you have ever seen a photo of Sydney, you will likely have seen the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Close to the centre of the photo, you can see where OnStage was held - at Luna Park. It was an absolutely STUNNING setting right on Sydney Harbour. The actual event was held in the 'Big Top.' One of the things I love about attending OnStage is the opportunity to meet with fellow demonstrators. Here are some pics of some of my fellow demos. Michelle Jutrisa Sue Wdowik - one of the AWESOME Silver Elites from my team The wonderful Louise Sharp looking STUNNING!!! Priscilla Gunton Carolina Evans - one of the AWESOME Silver Elites from my Team With Bruno - he loves OnStage more than I do! Hahaha With Carrie Cudney from the Stampin' Up! home office With Satomi Wellard - one of our top Japanese Demonstrators With Stephanie Fischer and Victoria Bonello from the Crazy Crafters With Vanessa Choi Here is a video showing all the wonderful gifts and prizes that we received this weekend. Display Boards Not only does OnStage allow demonstrators the opportunity to see the products in person, there are some AWESOME display boards that give a fantastic opportunity for us to see ALOT of the new products. And, guess what - I took pictures of them and Im happy to share those FULL display boards with you today. What do you think? WOW? Do you want to see them up close? One of the most awesome reveals at OnStage was the Brand New InColours. Here are the RGB Values and Hex codes for these. This is useful for all those demonstrators out there!! They are STUNNING!! Which one is your favourite? This will help you with creating on Picmonkey type editing programs. And, you know how much I love paper? Here is an image of all of the paper that I will be using and offering to my customers over the coming year. So, what do you think? Remember - these are not all of the products in the new catalogue. If you would like to get the Eastern Palace or be able to pre-order these items on the 2nd May instead of waiting till June 1st. That is a whole month earlier! If you would like to be kept up to date about the retiring list make sure you sign up for my newsletter. I will be sending an email today with more information. Click Here

I've really had fun with Stampin' Up!'s 2023-2025 In Colors over the past couple of weeks. They are different from any collection we've ever had, and that can take some getting used to. For the most part, they are dusty and right. If you aren't 'a fan' just yet, I

Hello there and happy Friday to you! The other day I received the most beautiful box of goodies from Concord & 9th. I am not a fan of surprises in general, but this was the most beautiful and happy surprise ever! They kindly sent me the new 2024 Color Collection, as well as some of the new stamps and dies from the February 2024 release. I have a card to share using some of them today, as well as a look at the new colours. PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure. For my card, I started off by creating a heart shaped card base using the large heart die in the Concord & 9th Just Say More Die Set. I cut it twice from white cardstock, scored a line at the top on one to create a hinge and adhered it to the back of the other heart. I did cut a little notch off of the bottom so that it stands up okay. I then took five colours of cardstock and cut them into strips, varying the widths. I used Wildberry, Watermelon and Creamsicle from the new collection, and Pink Lemonade and Sweet Pea from the older Core Collection. They were adhered to the heart using liquid glue and the excess cut off the sides using scissors. I then die cut the flowers & stems from the Concord & 9th Eclectic Garden Set twice from white cardstock. I cut the flowers down and then adhered the two layers, one on top of another for some dimension, onto the card. I die cut the sentiment from the new Concord & 9th Everyday Expressions Die Set from white cardstock for the shadow and black for the word itself (both cut twice) and adhered them together, before adhering to the card. To finish off, I added some of the new Concord & 9th Wildberry Enamel Dots to the centres of the flowers. 2024 COLOR COLLECTION Here is a look at the new 2024 Color Collection. There is (top to bottom on the swatches) Wildberry, Watermelon, Creamsicle, Grasshopper, Eucalyptus and Rainforest. I swatched the cardstock on the left (with the new patterned cardstock in the same colours peeking from the left) and blended the inks on the right. I think they look great as a whole colour combo but also work beautifully with the core collection too. SUPPLIES: Here are the links to what I have used on the project. Welcome to the PDF download (via Google Drive) for my version of the inner part of the Colour Wheel in the 2024-2025 Stampin Up Catalogue. I'm so pleased to say that Stampin Up have given permission for me to share this. Instructions: Download the PDF from Google Drive and save to your computer Print off or copy the page from the catalogue that you will attach the inner circle to. This is page 132 of the catalogue. I would suggest that you download the digital version of the catalogue to print from however a photocopy may be fine to use too. Use Basic White Thick cardstock for this and the inner circle so that they are sturdy. Print the PDF at 120%, as this should fit the page in your catalogue correctly. You may want to play with this scaling a little to suit however this worked just fine for me on my HP printer. Cut out the circle and then use a scapel to cut away the black areas to create windows for you to see through. Use a split pin to join through the centre of both the larger and smaller circle. This is what your printed wheel should look like - you can keep it as an A4 like I have or have it cut into a circle like the one that was gifted to Demonstrators - the choice is all yours! The link is HERE I'm really hoping this actually works and that you will enjoy using this until such time as an official one is available for purchase. Please take the time to go back to my first YouTube video explaining colour theory to fully understand how to use this great tool. If you have any questions or need help with yours, please send me an email using the contact form on my blog. Whilst you are here, please leave some love on my blog and be sure to pop back again soon to see what else I've been up to. Happy Stamping, Rachael xx

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Saturday was jam packed for me. I went with my Mom to see the Avengers, then we had lunch at On the Border to celebrate Cinco De Mayo and then she took me to my local Scrapbook store...Scrappers Cove. I picked up a lot of beautiful papers, embellishments, and a Memory Box die. The owner was so nice, she gave me a little discount on my die! By the time I finally got home I was too tired to make anything! I needed a nice long nap. Once I finally rested, I started on my Mother's Day cards and colored up a whole bunch of images. I never got around to making any cards because I got sidetracked with a project. I decided to make an updated Flourishes chart now that they have added more color combinations to the Copics that they sell at their store. When I first started buying Copics I used their color combinations as a guide. In the last two years they have expanded their collection and it is twice the size now. The ladies at Flourishes thought long and hard and came up with some really great color combinations that work well with their stamps. If you haven't checked them out, they have some nice tutorials on their blog like this one. The majority of their stamp images are floral and classic in style and the names of the collections really compliment that theme. I don't have every single color that they sell so you will notice some of the circles or boxes are left uncolored. As always, I hope these charts help you with choosing color combos to use or which Copics to invest in. Sometimes it is nice to see what the end result could look like before you buy. Below are blanks for you to print if you like.
