Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing the card I created on my Facebook Live this morning. If you would like to see how I made my card, please click here. Boho Blue is my favourite new In Color, and is the most popular one too! To create my card, I started by adhering Adhesive Sheet to a piece of Basic White Cardstock, die cut all the elements from the Cheerful Daisies Dies twice then stuck them together before adhering them to the Boho Blue Cardstock layer. I added this layer to the Boho Blue card base with a layering panel*, alternatively you could use Dimensionals. *I cut down the white card that comes with the Designer Series Paper packs and glue 3 pieces together then use this to create dimension on my card. It is cut 5mm smaller than the panel I'm adhering it to. A splatter of White Pigment Ink was flicked over the card front and left to dry while I embossed the sentiment and added it to the card front with a piece of the gorgeous new Boho Blue Textured Ribbon. Lastly I added a trio of Boho Blue 2023-2025 In Color Dots. Here is another card I made, this time with Pool Party. Join me as I make a fresh and happy birthday card using the gorgeous new Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle from the 2023 Annual Catalogue. This bundle and the cute layered daisy dies will make it easy to make gorgeous cards for your friends and family.
This time of the year is always exciting for Demonstrators. We're in the midst of the 2023-2024 pre-order period as we await the new catalogue going live on 2 May. My preorder box arrived this week so I've been having fun starting to play with some new things. So today, I'm sharing with you a sneak peek at the five new In Colors and a super new bundle, Cheerful Daisies. The new In Colors are: Moody Mauve, Boho Blue, Wild Wheat, Copper Clay and Pebbled Path. And here they are, used in a simple monochrome card using the new Cheerful Daisies bundle. If you'd like to try making one of these, here's a tutorial to show you the tricks and to give you a better look at the new In Colors. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I can help you with ideas, get you catalogues and provide you with Stampin' Up products. You can leave a message in the comments or contact me using any of the methods listed in the Contact Me tab at the top of the page. You can shop with me from anywhere in New Zealand right here.
It's nearly time for a new Stampin' Up! catalogue and one of the perks of being a demonstrator is receiving pre order products before they are available to customers. This first collection on cards was made using the new Cheerful Daisies Bundle and the co ordinating DSP, Fresh as a Daisy. This year Stampin' Up! are having a colour refresh. There are 11 colours leaving the colour range and 11 new ones. 7 of them are returning favourites, you can see them all here and 4 are brand new colours which you can see here. To colour the daisies I used Bubble Bath(pale pink), and Berry Burst. The background DSP has Pretty Peacock and Garden Green. For the next card I used Pebbled Path, one of the new In Colours and Lemon Lolly which is a beautiful soft yellow. I coloured the center of the flowers with Wild Wheat which is another of the new In Colours. The last card I have to share with you today has three differently coloured daisies. The top flowers are coloured with Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo. The center of the flowers are Orchid Oasis. The middle flower is Melon Mambo and Orchid Oasis, with Orchid Oasis in the center also. The lower flowers are Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo, with Orchid Oasis and Pebbled Path in the centers, The leaves are cut from Garden Green and the card base is Pebbled Path with Layering Designs Vellum behind the flowers. I hope you're as excited about these new products as I am. I'll be back in a few days with some more samples. All of these products are available from the 2nd of May. Please contact me with any questions. Happy stamping, Rachel
