Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop for March 2023. This month the crew have a wonderful technique to share with you. One that I have not tried before this challenge and now I love it and want to use it more. The technique is Etching. A perfect way to colour your stamped images beautifully and easily. I love the beautiful details of the teacup from the Everyday Details stamp set and decided that this would be the perfect image to colour using this technique for the first time. I really love how it has turned out. The card base and mat layer are Pool Party and the Designer Series Paper is from the Subtles DSP. I cut a Pool Party strip to place behind the central circle from the Nested Essentials Dies. Love the shapes in this die set. I wrapped two lengths of Linen Thread around the centre of the die cut piece and tied it in a bow on the left hand side before gluing to the card base. I stamped the teacup image in Memento™Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and die cut it with a circle from the Everyday Detail Dies. To colour it I have used Stampin' Write Markers. To Etch I flicked the narrow tip of the Stampin' Write Marker from the top or side of the stamped image and let it taper out tothe centre of the area I was colouring. So quick, easy and fun!! I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party ink on Basic White card stock and cut it out with a circle die from the every Details Dies. Adhere both circles using Dimensionals. Up next on our Technique challenge Blog Hop is the wonderful Mo Rootes! Please click on the next button below to head to her post for more Etching inspiration. Welcome to another MCM Blog post! Earlier this month a recycled an old layout that I just adored ... and ended up with some great new, fresh cards. That's proof that the layout is a versatile - JUST what we like! These are the cards I made in my Facebook Live ... See? Versatile! I just love that just switching out the elements gives you a completely different look! If these cards weren't side by side I wouldn't recognize that they were the same layout. Would you? This one uses the new (and MUST HAVE) A Little Latte Suite Collection (Latte Love Bundle stamp set, and A Little Latte paper and Adhesive backed swirl dots. This card shows that the layout can be "quick and easy" - no embossing or die cuts here! This one uses the same layout but I added die cuts from the Latte Love dies and embosses the back layer with the (now retired) Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder. Same layout, just "stepped up" if you have the product, time and inclination. LOVE this card!!! This one uses products from the Rock & Roll Suite Collection (and the Geometric Patterns Embossing Folder) This last one uses products from the Bee Mine Suite Collection. The bees were cut out of the paper so the only actual stamping on this one is the sentiment! Here is the "recipe" of the pieces and dimensions you need ... ... and here is the Mystery Card Monday (MCM) Facebook Live replay, showing you how to pull all the pieces together ... So that's it for this week. If you would like to join me LIVE for my MCM (Mystery Card Monday) sessions, you can catch me on my FaceBook Page here at 7:00 pm Mountain Time every Monday ... or on my YouTube Channel here at the same time (I stream live to both). Like and Follow my FB Page and/or Subscribe to my YouTube Channel. I'd love to have you - the live community is AMAZING and so much fun! If you live in Canada and would like to purchase any of the items I used for my cards, just click any of the pictures below and you will be taken to my online store. Thank you! I appreciate your support! Have a stampy day! Hi 👋 - we are so thrilled to have you here with us! Its Bruno here! As we attended OnStage, we were able to pre-order from the upcoming catalogue (and redeem free items from Saleabration brochure). FULL DISCLOSURE: This stamp set was one that I was going to pass on. I said to Kylie 'Im not going to redeem the 'In the Country' stamp set. Kylie responded 'YOU WILL NOT! YOU WILL REDEEM EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.' So, I did! Here it is! And, here is the project I created using this stamp set! I stamped it in Tuxedo Black and coloured it with Stampin' Blends. I then adhered it to a piece of Crumb Cake, and layered it on a piece of Kraft cardstock. I took a piece of Kraft cardstock and run it through the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Crumb Cake card base. Its really quite funny - I went from not even wanting to purchase a stamp set to one of my favourite projects Ive made in quite some time!!! When can you get your hands on this free stamp set? Are you a demonstrator? If so, you can participate in the demonstrator only pre-order from December 1, 2022. If you are not-yet a demonstrator, you can join our team and participate in the demonstrator only pre-order from December 1, 2022. Welcome to the Stamping With Friends February Blog Hop, as we showcase our favorite products from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. There are so many amazing new products to choose from that it's hard to pick a favorite. Our wonderful Design Team members will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to explore the products in this new Mini Catalog to help spark your creativity. One of my favorite bundles in the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog is the Fragrant Flowers Bundle and I love that it coordinates with the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper, which is a Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward you can earn free with a qualifying order. For this card design, I used the Fragrant Flowers Dies to die cut out the flowers from one of the sheets of Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper to create the focal image. I love the bold, vibrant florals in this pretty paper and it is perfect for creating beautiful card designs. I also chose to use the Framed Florets Dies, another one of my favorites from the new mini catalog. The detailed oval frame die cut worked perfectly for this design and helped the focal design stand out against the Design A Day Dream Designer Series Paper background. This card requires minimal stamping and is simple to create with these amazing dies. Products Used: Go To Greetings stamp set (item #158763) Fragrant Flowers Dies (item #160459) Framed Florets Dies (item #160623) Stylish Shapes Dies (item #159183) Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper (item #160833) Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper (item #159161) Host Reward Petal Pink Cardstock (item #146985) Basic Black Cardstock (item #121045) Versamark Pad (item #102283) Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555) Classic Matte Dots (item #158146) Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item #144108) Measurements: Petal Pink Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4") Basic Black Cardstock Layer 1 - 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Detailed Oval Frame die cut with the Framed Florets Dies Sentiment Label die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4" Tip: Die cut the Detailed Oval Frame from the middle of the Layer 1 Basic Black Cardstock to save cardstock. To create this beautiful card, I die cut all the pieces I would need first, so that I could arrange them into the finished design. I die cut the detailed oval frame using the Framed Florets Dies from Basic Black cardstock (the Layer 1 that frames the designer series paper card front) and then adhered the Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper to the Black Cardstock layer. I attached the detailed oval die cut to the center of the card front to create the focal area for my design. Using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, I popped up the larger floral die cut. I attached the smaller floral elements first to the card front, to create the background and then attached the larger popped up image so that it slightly overlapped these flowers. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Go To Greetings stamp set onto a Basic Black sentiment label die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added it to the card front with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. To complete the card design, I added several Matte Black Dots to coordinate with the Black accents in the card design. I love how this card design turned out and how dramatic the floral image looks against the subtle stripes in the background. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Hello stampers! Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge for March. We are using Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, and Flirty Flamingo. I was itching to play with my new set, Notes of Nature. All the samples I've seen use greens and neutrals, but I think this turned out nice with pastel colors! I also used the inspiration from Tic Tac Toe Challenge with CAS/Thinking of You/Floral. I'm also playing along with CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge. I cased the layout of the card on page 30 of the spring catalog. Here's a list of my supplies..... Stamps: Notes of Nature, Very Best Occasions Paper: White Ink: Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, and Memento Black Accessories: Notes of Nature dies, Opal Rounds, Stitched so Sweetly dies Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day! Hi Everyone, I have been having so much fun inking up the new stamp sets in the January-April Mini Catalog. Stippled Roses has been 1 of my favorites but I haven't shared a post with it until today. I have a bit of This or That for these cards. For the This card or 1st card - I just stamped the roses in Blackberry Bliss and added a few elements. For the That card or 2nd card - I did everything the same except I used a Blender Pen to go over the stamped image. I really love them both and can't decide which one I like better. Hope you enjoy!
