Happy Friday friends! Just Add Ink have a brand new challenge and Kelly has suggested for this one we add "Lines" to our projects...This is a very simple and fun one! I'd just received my lovely new "Delivering Cheer" stamp set and decided it was perfect for inking and colouring on this one. I've used a combination of Stampin Blends in Ivory & bronze (skintone) and Flirty flamingo-Fresh Freesia-Mint Macaron-Evening Evergreen for the parcels and dress and layered it on a diecut from the Layering Hugs dies. The dsp is from the Hand-Penned dsp and l've added a couple of Be Dazzling hearts for some sparkle. The "Hugs" is diecut from the Layering Hugs dies also and coloured with Evening Evergreen & Soft Succulent Stampin Blends. The design team have some lovely "Line" projects to share, so make sure you click the link above and pop over for a peek at those! Thanks for stopping by! All supplies used are Stampin Up!

Just a fun way to say hello this Valentine's Day! When I was young our telephone was similar to this one - big, clunky and black. It sat on a lace doily on its own little table. Those were the days when we read Dick Tracy every Sunday in the comic section of the newspaper. He kept in touch with the other "good guys" by talking into his wristwatch......and we laughed at such craziness.....little did we know...... I definitely drew inspiration from our living room from so long ago....the clunky phone, stenciled hearts like patterned wallpaper, a touch of lace and a retro look designer paper. It's my turn to host at Freshly Made Sketches this week. The sketch is wide open - use whatever works for you in the oval area! Hope you join us - especially because it is cold this week in the Northeast so I'd love to sip some tea and visit your galleries! Stamp Set: Let's Talk Paper: Basic White, Bunny Days DSP Ink: Memento Black, Petal Pink

Oh I do love Texture Chic dsp, the colours are so beautiful and the gold foil Is stunning. I have paired it with Cottage Rose for today’s card. I've used Very Vanilla rather than White cardstock and started by stamping and colouring my image. It's a lovely detailed image but at the same time nice and easy to colour. I've only needed to use two pairs of blends, Petal Pink and Soft Succulent.I die cut a scalloped rectangle (Scalloped Contour dies) and then, after stamping my sentiment, partially em

It was craft night with the girls last night and after tea and home made orange layer cake we all made cards featuring Gorjuss girls. I was on a roll and managed to get two done. I bought the 6x6 and the 8x8 paper packs as soon as they were released, this card was made with the 8x8 pack which is in neutral browns and beiges, I added in some kraft cardstock too. My Mum bought the Ultimate Gorjuss pack which is bursting with decoupage, toppers, tags, borders, gift bags, not to mention papers, and she kindly gave me some decoupage to play with. The image is huge so I kept the rest of the card quite simple, just adding a border made with a Martha Stewart punch, a ribbon, a brad topped bow, cream and brown pearls, clear gems and hearts fussy cut from a sheet of paper. I'm entering this card in the following challenge - Ooh La La - four legged friends Card Mania - #16 - lots of layers So Artful - shades of brown and cream Jellypark - Bunnies This one was made with the 6x6 paper pack which is in rich, deep colours and more of Mum's decoupage (thanks Mum!), she also let me have the tag element from the Ultimate pack too. I used a Papermania stepper card inked with Distress Ink in Antique Linen and Walnut stain, made a lacy border with the same punch as before and finished with a dark blue ribbon, a bow, some weeny punched flowers and some blue pearls. I'm entering this card in the following challenges - Created With Love - #32 - different fold Kaboodle Doodles - #162 - 3D, I used decoupage Totally Papercraft - #157 - punch it Southern Girls - #64 - tags
Hello stampers. I am sure you have seen some amazing twisted pop-up cards on Pinterest. They are just so impressive. It is always a very cool thing to surprise people and that is exactly what this card does. From the outside it looks like a plain, average card. Cute, but nothing super impressive. Well. I'm telling you, they are a lot of fun to make and even more fun to watch people open. It really helps to make a few at a time so that your brain catches on to how to make them, and then it is like riding
