They chose the latter and embarked on a trip that carried them northwards, far from the reaches of urban life. Their adventure starts with a 1990 Jeep YJ rumbling down the battered James Bay Highway against the advice of their loved ones, then continues with two one-way tickets to Alaska. The midnight Sun illuminates their adventures as they fish for salmon in clearwater creeks, hear bears stroll past their tent, hitchhike along the Alaska-Canada Highway and encounter wapiti in Jasper National Park.
