I seem to have failed to post a load of shots from a while back. Here's one from Guyana of a bullet ant. Paraponera clavata. A pretty impressive ant, even if you ignore his ability to cause pain! I can assure you I was not going to be one of those gung ho types who got stung just to see what it was like.

Nymph Cotton Harlequin Bugs on a back-yard hibiscus plant. A member of the Scutelleridae family of shield-backed bugs, related to stink bugs, they feed by piercing the plant and drawing up the sap.
