My take on those boozy treats that weigh down suitcases returning from Jamaica, this moist cake packs a rum punch. You may wish to card your guests before serving. The longer the rum soaks in, the better—overnight is best. —Jenn Hall, Collingswood, New Jersey

Who doesn't love cupcakes? Yumm! Not only do I love to eat cupcakes, I love to make cupcake cards, and this cupcake from the Pocket Thoughts Stamp Set is just perfect for birthdays! This card highlights the new In Color - Peach Pie. A layer of Peach Pie cardstock was cut with one of the Perennial Postage Dies, and then a layer of Peach Pie In Color Designer Series Paper was cut with a smaller Perennial Postage Die. Some Linen Thread was wrapped vertically on that piece to give it some texture. The white circle was cut using the Spotlight

The double chocolate richness of Wellesley fudge cake is a favorite from way back -- practically irresistible when you make it, as your grandmother doubtless did, with Baker's Chocolate.

I've been eying the Cake Fancy stamp set for quite some time, but I never added it to my shopping cart. When a friend recently ordered two, I made an easy swap with her to give her one of my sets she wanted. And that is how Cake Fancy came

Breakfast at my parent’s house is the best. Nothing is better than going home for the weekend, sleeping in my old room and waking up to my parents making me breakfast so I can get in some extra zzzz’s. Makes me feel like a kid all over again. So making the most beautiful, yet laborious, crepe cake seemed like […]
Created for a gluten-free friend's birthday, this is a wonderfully uplifting cake: subtly fragrant but full of zing. If you can't get ground cardamom — though do try to, I consider it a baking essential — you can pound your own, but it'll be much stronger; so here you would need only ½ teaspoon. For US cup measures, use the toggle at the top of the ingredients list.

Dear readers, it's sad to say but it's true... there is no such thing as an original idea. I love to think I have them all the time but I found something last night that shot my hopes and dreams down. I honestly had it in my mind that I was going to get this idea patented and make millions......I was going to make the circuit and tour the country, no, make that the world!... I was going to be in demand and next big thing! My idea? The Drag Queen Cake... I discovered this last night..... Boo!!! I made "Ta-Ta Licious" about 2 years ago while I was at my mom's during her first shoulder surgery. She had a cake pan for making hoop skirt cakes for birthdays and wedding showers with girl tops and I didn't see why a man doll wouldn't enjoy wearing a frilly dress also. Ah well.... I guess I better get back to working on another idea that will just be pulled out from underneath me. ~UPDATE~ the "this" cake link apparently isn't working due to something going on over at craftster....

Hi Guys! Today I've got a card to share with you that I've created to enter in Craft Project Central's Creating Pretty Cards Sketch Challenge, simply follow the link to find out more about this challenge. I have an Aunt whose birthday is next month and think this will be the perfect card to give to her. If you check out the original sketch here, you'll see I've changed it up a little by turning it on to it's side. Other than that I've stayed pretty close to the sketch. I'm happy with how it turned out. I've used the Hardwood Background Stamp, Apothecary Art Stamp Set, Whisper White A4 Card Stock, Crisp Cantaloupe A4 Cad Stock, Baked Brown Sugar Classic Stampin' Pad, Crisp Cantaloupe Classic Stampin' Pad, Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad, Whisper White 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Labels Collection Framelits, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Blender Pen and Adhesives. Now I'm off to create some scrapbook layouts to share with you all tomorrow to get into the spirit of International Scrapbooking Day. Well one of them anyway. After stumbling across something on line stating tomorrow was ISD I "googled" International Scrapbooking Day 2014 and found two different dates, tomorrow the 4th of March and also the 3rd of May. I've participated in ISD before in May, so feel that is the more legit date, but I've decided I'm just going to celebrate it twice this year. Because honestly, is one day enough to recognise our scrapbooking efforts and endeavours? I don't think so. So join me tomorrow and again in May and celebrate International Scrapbooking Day twice! Happy crafting everyone! Cheers Ange
