Affiliate Link Press Sample @lavelierskincare #lovelavelier Luxe Anti-Aging Skincare: Lavelier Marine Essentials Collection My First Impressions Are you looking to boost your anti-aging skincare routine? I know that I am always on the hunt for great products. So, I am supre excited to share about Lavelier's Marine Essentials Collection. Lavelier has a variety of lines available and the Marine Essentials Collection sounded like it would be the best match for my skincare concerns. My Skin: Before diving into my first impressions review, lets chat a little bit about my skin. I have mildly sensitive combination skin that is somewhat prone to oiliness in the t-zone area. I am currently using Rx Retin-A. So, I also get some patches of dryness and some increased sensitivity from the Retin-A. I am in my mid-40s. So, I am very interested in age-prevention and anti-aging products. So far, my biggest "aging" concerns are fine lines and some mild sun damage. Also, I occasionally get clogged pores and sometimes get a stray breakout (infrequently, but it can happen!). Lavelier Marine Essentials Collection: I am so excited that I have had a chance to try out almost the entire Lavelier Marine Essentials Collection. I tried out every product except for the two Marine Essentials Serums. So, lets talk about each product. These products come beautifully packaged with large boxes (they are somewhat bulky, but are attractive). The products themselves have a white containers with silver emblishments. My only other packaging critique is that some of the items (the moisturizers and the facial peel) are packaged identically. So, if you are in a hurry with your beauty routine, you need to double check the writing on the back to see if you grabbed the right item. The Marine Essentials Collection from Lavelier was designed to suit all skin types. It is an anti-aging line that gives you all of the essentials to fight fine lines and mild signs of aging. The products are created to be used together to maximize your results. Lavelier | Marine Deep Moisturizer: This anti-aging eye cream contains powerhouse age fighting ingredients like Green Tea Extract and Retinyl Palmitate. This super hydrating moisturizer is effective without leaving a greasy residue. It works to moisturize your skin and fight fine lines. Since this is a vitamin-a product (Retinyl Palmitate), I like to use it at night on nights that I am not using Retin-A nor the Lavelier Marine Evening Repair Cream. It retails for $300.00. Lavelier | Marine Evening Repair Cream: This super moisturizing cream is enriched with shea butter and the antioxidant coral seaweed to moisturize and fight free radicals. It works while you sleep to plump up the skin and diminish your fine lines. It is super thick. However, it does not feel heavy on the skin. It is soothing and hydrating. I can really see the difference in my skin in the morning after using this in the evening. I wake up with smooth hydrated skin that does not feel greasy. Retails for $350. Lavelier | Eye Firming Concentrate: This is an eye treatment that helps treat puffiness with caffeine. It contains other skin-loving ingredients like collagen, Vitamin E, and Vitamin A. It is very thick and rich. You really only need a small amount of this eye cream to treat your eye area. So, a jar of this eye cream will last you a very long time. This is good because this product is extremely expensive at $500.00 per jar. I like using this in the evenings since it is super rich. I feel that it might be too heavy for daytime for layering underneath under eye concealer. I do feel that my eye area looks smoother when I use this super rich and nourishing treatment. Lavelier | Biology Mousse Cleanser: This fragranced foaming cleanser is super thick coming out of the tube. Yet, it is lightweight and works up to a lovely foam. It is a perfect first step to your morning or evening Lavelier skincare routine. You only need a small amount to get a great lather. It rinses clean without leaving a feeling of residue. Retails for $175.00 Lavelier | Intensive Facial Peel: This product is recommened to use about 1-2x per week. Since I am using Retin-A, I skipped testing out this product since I do not want to overexfoliate my skin (since my skin is sensitive). This peel retails for $200.00. Lavelier | Advanced Marine Bio-Syringe: This interesting product is actually not a real syringe, lol! However, it is a fantastic product to use occasionally when you want that extra anti-aging boost and minimization of fine lines. It contains powerhouse ingredients DMAE and hyaluronic acid. The idea is that you apply this directly to your wrinkles and then let your face remain exrpresionless for two minutes. It should work to smooth and hydrate your skin to make your wrinkles look less apparent. I did try this product. However, I honestly do not have anything more than a few fine lines. So, I can't really evaluate what this product will do for wrinkles. This product retails for $995.00. Overall, I really enjoyed using Lavelier's luxurious Marine Essentials Collection. I used these products exclusively (along with my Retin-A) for a couple weeks and am happy to share my results. The products worked beautifully and did not irritate my skin. My skin looks refreshed, hydrated, and I believe that my fine lines look diminished as well. You may have noticed the price points for these products in the Marine Essentials Collection...they are priced very high. From $175 for a cleanser to $995.00 for the Bio Syringe. While I don't typically spend even near that much for my skincare products, I am sure that there are some people that do. So, if you are willing to pay that much, these are very nice products that I genuinely enjoyed using. While I loved reviewing these products in exchange for my blog review, I will not be repurchasing them as they are personally out of my price range. Affiliate Link

I Bought It/Press Sample Sponsored Post Affiliate Link Blogger Ambassador This post has been sponsored by the PRIMP Network. All opinions are my own . Spring/Summer Morning Skincare Routine with Zapzyt and more: Hey lovelies! I just thought that I would check in with my latest update in my skincare routine. There have been many changes! I always tend to shift my skincare routine a bit for the Spring and Summer. Plus, I have recently started a topical prescription retinod in the evenings (more on that in a future post. I recently started tretinoin.). So, I have really had to up my game with my skincare routine across the board to combat dryness and also to cater to my skin's sensitivities secondary to the retinoid treatment. Now, I am still product testing for the blog. So, this routine can very depending on my product testing. However, with that said, this routine is what I am always returning to in-between product testing. My Skin: Before diving into my routine, lets chat a bit more about my skin. I have sensitive combination skin. Typically, I am normal-to-oily. However, with the addition of a topical prescription retinoid, I am leaning more towards dry currently as my skin adjusts. Hopefully that will calm down soon. However, I am experiencing some dry patches and flaky skin here and there. It is not too bad (and I think the products I am using are really helping to alleviate the dryness and flaky skin!). I am somewhat acne prone, too. I tend to get mild breakouts during "that time of the month" in my t-zone area and primarily on my chin. My eye area is super sensitive and I am plagued by dark under eye circles. My Updated Spring and Summer Skincare Routine: Step 1: Cleanse: Zapzyt Acne Wash Cleanser: My first step in my skincare routine is to cleanse with a mild and gentle Salicylic Acid-based cleanser. Zapzyt is the perfect choice for me! It is literally my favorite Salicylic Acid based cleanser for a number of reasons. It is very gentle. It does not over dry my tretinoin-dried skin. It is fragrance-free. Last, but not least, it is extremely affordable! You honestly cannot go wrong with this cleanser. Salicylic Acid is delivered beautifully to the skin from the Zapzyt cleanser. It works wonderfully to help combat breakouts while also providing gentle and mild exfoliation. To use, I just apply to my damp facial skin in the mornings during my shower. I let it sit on my face for about 1-2 minutes and then I rinse off with tepid water. What else do I love about Zapzyt Acne Wash Cleanser? It is honestly just the best Salicylic Acid based cleanser that I have tried (and I have tried many). It provides real acne skincare solutions for real people. I feel that I can effectively treat my breakouts and prevent the future problem zits with Zapzyt! Zapzyt was easy to add to my skincare routine and it effectively treats my problem zits! Step 2: Apply Hyaluronic Acid Based Humectant: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel: This is one of the newest (and best) additions to my skincare routine! Hyaluronic Acid is a fabulous ingredient for combatting transepidermal water loss in the skin. It holds on to water and draws it onto the skin. It actually holds up to 1000x its weight in water! Water loss leads to dryness and this extra step helps to combat that issue. I simply apply a dab of this to my wet face after cleansing. Since I was my face in the shower. I apply this as soon as I step out of the shower to my wet face. This product is amazing! My skin seems much more hydrated since adding this. Plus, it layers nicely under the rest of my skincare routine. I use this in the evenings as well. I am in the process of exploring the whole Hydro Boost line from Neutrogena and it really is fantastic!!! More Hydro Boost reviews coming soon! Step 3: Apply Acne Treatment Product: Zapzyt Acne Treatment Gel: I don't use this product every single day. However, about 3-4x a week, I apply this benzoyl peroxide based treatment gel from Zapzyt to my entire t-zone area. I let my skin air dry just a bit after applying the Hydro Boost to my wet face and then apply the Zapzyt gel. This works wonders to zap the problem zit and to prevent future breakouts, too! Plus, did you know that this acne treatment gel is water based and doesn’t contain alcohol like the competitive products (which only irritates and adds to the redness of the already red/inflamed zit area)? So, it really is my go-to treatment product...especially when my skin is dry and irriated already. Step 4: Apply Eye Cream: Teamine Eye Complex by Revision: This is one of the other new additions to my morning skincare routine. After a recent complaints to my Dermatologist about my dark under eye circles, she recommended that I try out this product as her other patients have reported good results (and they sell it at the office). So, I did a little bit of research and then found a deal online. While it is still too soon for me to report my personal results, the reviews online are good! This cream promises to help combat signs of fatigue and aging around the eyes like fine lines, puffiness, dark circles, and irritation. So far, I like it! It hydrates beautifully and has very subtle illuminators to brighten the eye area. I feel that I have started to get a bit of a surface lightening effect that is diminishing my dark circles a bit. Also, it is very gentle and soothing to use. It sinks in nicely and leaves a nice base for eye makeup. Key ingredients include: Palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 (diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles), Grape seed oil and green tea extract (provide antioxidant protection), Vitamin C (brightens skin and offers antioxidant benefits), Sodium hyaluronate (hydrates and moisturizes), and Mica, silica and titanium dioxide (instantly brightens skin). Overall, I am super pleased! I am curious to try out the Teamine Concealer as well. If I do, I would switch the eye cream to the evening and use the Teamine Concealer in the morning as a 2-in-1 eye cream/concealer. Step 4: Vitamin C and/or Antioxidant Serum: Kiehl's Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate: This serum really is powerful with a 12.5% concentration of Vitamin C. Plus, it has the powerhouse ingredient that I love: hyaluronic acid (a new addition to the product during its recent re-formulation). I am a HUGE fan of Kiehl's skincare and this is one of my very favorite products from the brand. It works wonderfully to brighten the skin and give an overall radiance boost. It adds in a bit of extra hydration, too, before I apply my sunscreen. Plus, you get the antioxidant power and protection from active Vitamin C. I really believe that everyone needs an antioxidant product in their skincare routine. So, morning is the time that I can apply it so that it won't interfere with my night time treatment products. Note: when my skin is feeling a bit more on the irritated side, I skip this product as it can sting a bit if I am overly irritated. Otherwise, I have no problems with this. I just love it! Step 5: Sunscreen!!! CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30: This is the most important step! Everyone must use a sunscreen...daily! This is of the utmost importance for everyone...but even more important now that I am on prescription topicals as they increase sun sensitivity (and I think that Salicylic Acid increases sun sensitivity as well). I will fully admit that I always switch up my sunscreens...especially since my favorite sunscreen by Belli Skincare was recently discontinued. So, I am looking for recommendations here! Right now I am using CeraVe's Facial Moisturizing Lotion with Sunscreen SPF 30. Now, I do believe that this product has been reformulated or perhaps just re-packaged. However, this is the version that I am currentlyn using. I like CeraVe products as they contain ceramides which are despirately needed to combat dry skin! I adore CeraVe products and use a cleanser by CeraVe in my evening skincare routine every night! So, that is it ya'll! That is my morning skincar routine. Key products with effective active ingredients like the Salicylic Acid in the Zapzyt Acne Cleanser and the Benzoyl Peroxide in the Zapzyt Ance Treatment Gel make a huge difference in my skin! I would love to hear about your skincare routines! As always, thanks so much for reading. XOXO!!! Affiliate Link
