I LOVE this card and must give thanks to my good friend and down line, Kerry Hooks, for the inspiration for this one. It is a really fun and easy card to make and would be perfect for almost any occasion. Since I am in need of a lot of Thank You cards, that is what I chose for this one. If you love to fussy cut, this is the card for you! I started off, by die cutting the Market Tote Die Set from Electric Lime card stock . (This particular die cannot be purchased. It is earned by placing a $150.00 order and you can choose it as your Host Exclusive.) I then punched a hole in the basket and the base of each handle using Fun Stampers Journey's 1/16 inch punch. Then I inserted two white brads from the Be Natural brad set. Next I created an Electric Lime base card. I cut a piece of Whip Cream card stock 5.25 x 4 inches and embossed it using the Diamond Netting Embossing Folder. The basket was attached to the embossed piece using craft glue. I decided to use this printed piece from out Sunday Adventure Prints to use as the flowers for the basket. Several different flowers, leaves, and strawberries were cut from the paper and then arranged and adhered to the card front to look as though the basket were full of flowers. I placed the strawberries at the lower right front of the basket and added some of the leaves as fillers. The sentiment was chosen from the Must Have Sentiments stamp set and stamped onto Whip Cream card stock using Black Licorice Ink. It was then fussy cut and popped up on the top center of the card using small foam squares. As the final finishing touch, I placed some Rainbow Drops in red, orange and yellow onto the centers of some of the flowers. This added just that little something extra to finish off the card. The Whip Cream panel was then centered on the front of the base card. It really turned out fun and colorful. I hope you like it! Here is a close up of the finished card: Today is day 8 of my Make it to Manager Bundles. I need to reach a certain sales amount to achieve this goal and you can help me get there. I've got 4 fun cards to share with you in the coming days. And I've made 3 versions of each of these 4 cards. Each of the 3 versions share the same supplies. And each of these cards feature
Can you believe I’m posting again already? I’m even surprising myself! I have been taking some “me” time and just been doing some stamping therapy . . . something I have been seriously in need of the last little while. So . . . here I am again! I’m starting off today with this little “Boatloads” butterfly card. I’ve honestly had this set since it came out, only this is the first time I have used it. It is so darn cute! I coupled it with some of my favorite things . . . “Basket Full of Fun”, which in my opinion should never have been a hostess set, but rather one offered to everyone, AND my new Copic markers and airbrush system. This was really fun to make. I cut a little cloud shape out of some paper and laid it down to airbrush the sky behind the little boat. I am soooo loving this tool! Great fun to play with. Plus, I fulfilled card #29 in my “Follow the Butterflies” challenge (see link on sidebar for details). I just discovered this week that I was off on my card count . . . somehow, a card I did last November was either not posted to my SCS gallery at all, or it was deleted. Not sure which. But, I have always used the gallery to help me count. For some reason I remembered that card the other day and realized I hadn’t seen it in my gallery. So I went and added it a couple of days ago. It’s not really my favorite, as I was doing it in a hurry, but I had to add it so I could keep track of what I have done!! Stamps: Boatloads of Love, Basket Full of Fun Cardstock: Summer Sun, Brocade Blue, Real Red, Shimmery White Ink: Black StazOn, Whisper White craft,Various Copic Markers Accessories: Red stitched grosgrain ribbon, brads (inked with Whisper White and then embossed with WW embossing powder), silver cord, dimensionals I did this one for CC157 – and I goofed! The challenge was to use Basic Black, Purely Pomegranate and Basic Gray. I must’ve been zonin’, ‘cause I ended us thinking it was Going Gray, which is what I used. I haven’t done a criss-cross card in a while (see TLC104 on SCS for details), so I really wanted to take a stab at this challenge again. I also love it when I can contain myself to one stamp set on a card, as I have been known to use up to SEVEN on the same card! I must be NUTS!! Stamps: Baroque Motifs Cardstock: Basic Black, Going Gray, Purely Pomegranate, Shimmery White Ink: Going Gray, Purely Pomegranate, Basic Black craft Accessories: Scallop circle, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle, horizontal slot punch, May Arts black swiss dot organza ribbon, smoky gray rhinestone sticker (Doodlebug) Finally, this card was done when I was having a brain freeze. The whole time I was making this for SC167 I kept thinking, “Where in the heck am I GOING with this??” I still think it is kinda funky, but I have received a lot of comments on it, so I must be in a funk or something, ‘cause I’m still not quite sure about it. I used a blender pen and reinker to color around the outside edge of the large flower. Stamps: Office Accoutrement Cardstock: Soft Sky, Purely Pomegranate, Happy Me SS dsp Ink: Groovy Guava, Purely Pomegranate Accessories: Polka dot pomegranate satin ribbon, rhinestone stickers (Doodlebug), dimensionals, Cuttlebug Dotted Swiss embossing folder I’m listening to the rain outside my window as it hits the street. A very spring-y sound, if you ask me. At least it’s not SNOWING!! Have a great day!!
I pulled out a stamp set that I’ve had for awhile but has not met much ink…and I’m not sure why. Basket of Wishes photopolymer stamp set is a great set that can be used for so many occasions and seasons with some nice sentiments, too. And for added value, it’s one of the least expensive sets in the Annual Catalog. Here’s the details The card base is Very Vanilla thick card stock with rounded… Continue reading
Hi all! I have a sweet Valentine's Day pop-up card to share with you today. Originally it was supposed to be for this month's Designer Challenge, but I was on vacation and totally lost track of time, and forgot to post it! The beach tends to have that effect on me, what can I say?! I am absolutely in love with Karen Burniston's new Woven Basket die - it's such a cool take on the pop-up box card. I decided to make my husband a somewhat masculine feeling Valentine's card, using the heart dies from Karen's new Heart Pivot Panels die and stamps from Tim Holtz. All the elements are attached to the card using strips of clear transparency. I love that this folds completely flat for mailing. What a fun treat to send someone! And the possibilities are endless. You could style this in a cute, spring theme; shabby chic; holiday; etc. Oooh, and imagine it filled with some Graphic 45 fussing cutting!! It's really so versatile. I can't wait to play more with this die! You can find the dies I used via the links below. Thanks so much for stopping by today - have a great week!!
This is my first card that I have been able to make after my surgery! Man it feels GREAT to be back!!! I made this for my club this month and just had to use the Basket of Wishes set! I used a bl…

As the “Cheerful Basket” title suggests, there’s one large basket you can fill with hearts, apples or craft supplies… all “cheerful”! There’s an adorable kitten that is perfect sitting next to […]

Good morning! With Aidan away at his grandparents this week it’s a little quite around the house in the evening, which is perfect since my Holiday Catalog Preorder goodies have arrived and all I want to do is play. Today I’m sharing a sneak peak of some of the products from the Holiday catalog and showing how they don’t need to just be used for the holidays, anytime will work. When I saw the Basket of Wishes stamp set I knew it would be perfect for fall and Thanksgiving cards, and those will come, but I love sunflowers and was so excited that one of the options for the baskets base sunflowers so I decided to make a summery card using that, along with some “Christmas” paper, haha! I started with Delightful Dijon cardstock for the cardbase and then took a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Brickwall Embossing Folder. I lightly sponged the embossed piece with Garden Green cardstock to mimic the look of brick that has some moss growing on it (don’t know if you can see it but that was the feel I was going for). I stamped the greeting from the Basket of Wishes stamp set using Basic Black ink (I was careful and stamped after embossing but to make it easier stamp your greeting before embossing). Next I added a piece of Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper (love that there are so many great prints in this pack that aren’t strickly holidayish) and matted it with Basic Black Cardstock. For the stamped image I stamped the bushel basket and sunflowers using Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and then colored them in with Stampin’ Write Markers. I matted this with Garden Green cardstock and attaching to the cardfront with dimensionals. The final touch was to add a bow I tied using some Delightful Dijon 3/8” Ribbon (from the 3/8” Ribbon Trio Pack, it’s in the new Petals and Paisleys Product Suite), it’s so soft and pretty, you’ll love it! There are so many options with this stamp set having different types of baskets and fillers, you’ll definitely love this set and can use it for everything! If you’re not a demonstrator you should be receiving your holiday catalog in the mail shortly (if you don’t and you don’t already have a demonstrator send me a note and I can get one in the mail to you). This holiday catalog is over the top, amazing and I know you’ll love it as much as I do! You can begin ordering on September 1 so start working on your wish list and get your order in so you can start working on all of your projects! Also, I’ve already started planning my fall/winter class schedule showcasing the fabulous holiday catalog products so stay tuned my class calendar and invites will be going out soon. There will be something for everyone! Below are easy ordering links to the products used on today's card: Enjoy! Diana
Hello Peeps !!! Happy Monday !!! I am using this basket from The Cheerful Basket, stamping it in Early Espresso ink.
