Baltimore has been undergoing one of the largest urban renewals in the country. “Charm City” is a far cry from your grandmother’s Baltimore. From Inner Harbor, Towson, Ellicott City and points in between, the city is emerging as a must visit destination. Our print features some of the cities the city’s historic icons - Edgar Allan Poe, Fredrick Douglas, Billy Holiday and the Fort that made our National anthem famous. The National Aquarium, Natty Boh Tower, Domino Sugar sign, and the Greektown Pegasus are just a few of the beloved city landmarks featured on the print. No Baltimore print would be complete without celebrating the Hampdenfest Toilet Races, Miracle on 34th Street, Baltimore’s Painted Ladies, “Stoop Life”, Bee Hives and “Hon” and a smattering of other cultural touchstones that have made the city famous. There’s so much packed into our whimsical take on Baltimore, you’ll discover something new with every viewing. A. B. Newton and Company co-founder Will Blaine illustrated this map with a playfully sophisticated style.
