Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up!
Wishing you a wonderful 4th of July holiday weekend filled with family, fun, food and gratitude for our amazing country!! I am so thankful to live in the USA and I am so appreciative of all who serve and protect our country! I love this sweet Baby Bear stamp from Stampin' UP! and thought he'd make a cute 4th of July patriotic bear greeting card, so I added a little flag and a cute red scallop to give it a little extra boost of patriotism! The Floral Boutique background paper and red scallop just give it that 'front porch'

Good Morning! I am back today with a look at another NEW stamp set from the new Annual Catalogue- the Baby Bear stamp set! This set is really cute! It's actually a 3-step stamp which when done with three complimentary colours gives the bear some amazing dimension! You can experiment with different colour combinations to see which ones give you the look you want. How To Make It: 1. Emboss the Whisper White layer with the Happy Hearts embossing folder 2. Using the three stamps for the Baby Bear, stamp onto Whisper White square – use a paper piercing mat under the cardstock for best results with these stamps. TIP: Bear images are marked with a number 1,2, and 3 – use the stamps in that order – stamp image 1 with Sahara Sand ink, stamp image 2 with Crumb Cake ink, and image 3 with Early Espresso. When I am stamping these images, I line up the bottom of the bear and they seem to line up quite well. 3. Stamp “love you” on a scrap of Pool Party cardstock, and punch with the Sweetheart punch. 4. Assemble card – and pop the sweetheart shape with a Stampin' Dimensional. 5. Using Thick White Baker’s Twine, wrap it around the card and tie a bow. Stamps: Baby Bear (141859) Paper: Dapper Denim-4 ½” x11”, score at 5 ½” (141414), Whisper White-4” x 5 ¼”, 3 ¼” square (100730), Soft Sky cs(131203) In Color 2016-2018 Designer Series Paper Stacks-4” x 3” (141408) Ink: Sahara Sand126976), Crumb Cake (126975), Early Espresso (126974), Dapper Denim (141394) Other: Big Shot (143263), Big Shot Platform (142802), Happy Heart Embossing Folder (137364), Sweetheart punch (133786), Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine (141688), Paper Pierce Mat (126199) Thanks for coming by today! Have a great day!

Hello Friends! Recently I decided to stamp a lot of the Baby Bear images to test out various colour schemes. Here is what I came up with..... This stamp set is a bit tricky to line up when you first start. I have these boards hanging up in my craft room so my stampin' ladies can see what colour combination would match the card they are making. Baby Bear stamp set - photopolymer Pg 61 #141859 $32.00 Canadian Then I carried on and made this cute card CLICK HERE to go to my Canadian online store and order this set for your own along with the Moroccan designer paper I used. Please use Host Code MQXMT2V3 and I will send you a tutorial on how to make this cute card. You could use it as a Welcome Baby card too. You can also EMAIL ME and I would be happy to place your Canadian order for you, and you will still get the tutorial. Have a crafty day! Glenda Mollet

Have you seen it yet? ? The new Stampin'Up annual catalogue. ..boy is it a wowzer! , To celebrate we are taking part in a blog hop ! If you've arrived here via Fiona's fantastic post you'll know what I mean 😉 if not here's the link to her post http://oakfieldcrafts.blogspot.co.uk One of the bonuses of being a Stampin Up demonstrator is that you get the chance to attend not one but two national train events each year. At the April event in Telford I was lucky enough to recieve a few sneek peek products from the annual catalogue 😉 one of which I am going to share some samples with today! And here it is.....One of the cute stamps in the whole catalogue. ... Called Baby Bear this 3 step stamping set is just soooo adorable! Available in photopolymer this set is a breeze to create with and the results are so photo realistic! Here are my samples made using the Baby Bear set In the first sample I kept it really simple and loved it so much I've stepped it up a little . Here's a close up of the bear I stamped the first layer in Sahara sand, the second in crumb cake and the third in soft suede inks. Then just for fun I went all out...fussy cutting, scoring, layering and lots of basic pearls! Well I hope you've enjoyed this post . Please hop over to see what the lovely Mandy has created 😊. Hallo allemaal! Hugs, Laura
I'm totally loving our new colour challenge at Can You Case It this week. These are some of my favorite colours and I also decided to tie my card in with a beautiful sketch challenge that the Global Design Project has running this week too. Here is the Can You Case It colour challenge: And here is the Global Design Project sketch challenge: And finally here is my card!! Being a swim teacher and working with lots of the mum's and bub classes I see lots of mum's going off to have babies and I thought, wouldn't it be nice to have a little bundle of cards in the office that we could give to the new mum's!! So I decided that Baby Bear would be perfect for that type of card and our colour challenge would work really well too. I just love this little guy and it doesn't seem to matter which colour you make him, he is always gorgeous. It's hard to see in this photo, but on all of his little black patches of fur, I have added a touch of wink just to make him that little bit extra special. He's pretty sparkly when he catches the light!! Well that's it for me. Don't forget to stop by my store to purchases any of the items that you have seen me use today and when you pop over to the CYCI blog, make sure you click on the link to be able to subscribe to our blog, so you never miss out on a challenge again!! Sweet Little Something Stamp set from Stampin' Up! as soon as I saw it I had to have it my daughter and Niece both have a thing for Jelly Cat Bunnies, My niece has lots like one in every colour they do! This is the Jelly Cat Bunny - so them here Isn't he just like him!!! Awwwww The stamp set is £19 for 10 photopolymer stamps, The bunny is stamped with 3 stamps, Now I find it easier to stamp them in reverse so 3 - 2 - 1, instead on 1, 2, 3 I stamped stamp 3 in Soft Suede 1st generation, then Stamp 2 in Crumb Cake 2nd generation ink (stamped off) and stamp 3 also in Crumb Cake 2nd generation (stamped off), I've then hand cut him out and added him to my card on dimensional pads.... I'm thinking Baby Shower, New baby cards and not forgetting the Christmas cards I made with this bunny! Its also perfect for Invites and so much more.... To create the curved sentiment, I just carefully curved the stamp on to my clear block - the benefit of Photopolymer they bend well! I've used the Bundle of Love Designer Series paper on my cards teamed up with matching ribbon see below to order yours To order anything I've used today you can order by simply clicking on a pic below to go straight to my online shop, where you can create a secure account to order and then have the goodies delivered to your chosen address in United Kingdom, The Netherland, France, Germany and Austria When you shop online please use the hostess code for orders under £150.00 and you will receive an extra thank you from me... this will arrive separately from your order and will come direct from myself...

I am very happy to report that the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp set and punch are going to be carried over! I'm happy because I can get a head start on next year's Christmas cards, but also because the little bear in that set makes the perfect "welcome baby" card. One of my stamping team recently had a baby girl, so I needed to acknowledge that momentous occasion! To be honest, she is more than just part of my team, she is also a dear friend and one of the sweetest, most generous people you could ever meet. Her husband is, too. (He installed the new flooring in the kitchen and dining room of the house we sold last year, and it made such a huge difference in the way the house presented! There was truly awful old carpet in the dining room....ugh.) But I digress... Anyway, I am so happy for them and for their other little girl, who is a big sister now! Here's the "How To" Image: Whisper White 2-1/4" x 3" and 3" x 4" Mat: Pink Pirouette 3" x 4" Greeting: Whisper White scrap DSP: Subtles DSP stack 4" x 5-1/4" Card base: Pink Pirouette 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored & folded at 4-1/4" Stamp bear in crumb cake on smaller white cardstock. Stamp face in Early Espresso. Punch out with builder punch. Stamp ears in Crumb Cake on larger white cardstock, about 1" from top. Lay bear over to see where the oval Framelit needs to be, leaving an even border around the bear. Die cut using largest Stitches Shapes oval. Die cut Pink Pirouette cardstock with largest scalloped oval die. On the leftover scrap, stamp the bow in Melon Mambo (stamped off once), and punch with the builder punch. Adhere stitched oval to scalloped oval. Adhere bear to stitched oval with dimensionals. Attach bow with liquid glue. Add three of the smallest pearls to bow. Stamp greeting (Badges & Banners) in Soft Suede, color letters with Pink Pirouette marker, and punch with banner punch. Attach under bear with liquid glue. Adhere DSP (I used retired DSP) to card base. Adhere doily (also retired) to DSP. Attach ovals with bear to doily with dimensionals. Add medium pearls under greeting. Remember, the Cookie Cutter bundle is retiring, but you will still be able to get the stamp set and builder punch separately....just not at the bundle discount! Hello to everyone out there visiting me today for our Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. This hop we have a special guest, Shannon Lane! Thanks so much for joining us this month Shannon! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Nicole Spicer - or may have come from the person previous to me. Be sure to click on the person listed under me further down the page to continue your journey on this blog hop. Here is the card I have made. I decided to use a layout to base my card on this time. I loved the vertical look. I'll admit, I don't make too many cards with the top fold, but I really love this one. I've stuck with my favourite colour to base my card today - Sweet Sugarplum. I've teamed this with Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride for my balloons. My bear is a triple stamped image in Sahara Sand, Soft Suede and Early Expresso. The stamp sets I have used in my card are Baby Bear, Bookshelf Builder for the sentiment and hearts and Gorgeous Grunge for the background splatters. I know Shannon has flicked her Stampin' Write Markers to create her splatter effect, but I'm afraid I'm not as clever as her (or just not as experienced!) and mine didn't work! My next best thing was my ever useful Gorgeous Grunge. Here is the card from Shannon that I have chosen to CASE. You can click on the image to go to her blog post featuring this card. Every month we have to chose a card to CASE and this month was no exception to the difficulty of choosing just one! Shannon's work is amazing! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, and I hope you will continue on our blog hop to check out the amazing creations made by Shannon and our team of Crazy Crafters! Here is the blog hop list. Remember, you are visiting with Nicole Spicer so please click on the person after me! Thanks again, til next time, Nicole x
We have a couple of birthdays in our family this month with the youngest member turning 2. Of course that requires a hand made card from Grandma! This little sweetheart of ours is a real little character - she is going to be a great artist and she spends hours drawing and singing at the same time. This is the card I made for her. I used one of the Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Papers combined with Rich Razzleberry & Pink Pirouette card stock and some Gold Glimmer paper to pick of the gold foil in the paper. The balloons are a retired Stampin' Up! punch and the textured card is created using one of the Petal Pair Embossing Folders. I used the fabulous Stampin' Up! Stamparatus to align the 3 stages of stamping the bunny. This tool makes it so easy and will be available in our new Annual Catalogue due out in June. Just a quick post today as we are busy with family "things" this week. You'll find a list of products below. Please go to my on-line store if you'd like to purchase any Stampin' Up! products. I cannot finish this post without offering each of you a fabulous opportunity to join Stampin' Up! during Sale-A-Bration. You get all the benefits of being a member of the SU family plus during SAB you can choose 2 additional free stamp sets of your choice. Depending on your choice this can be well over $100 of stamps for free and that is in addition to all the heavily discounted items you choose for your Starter Kit and the free $80 Business Starter pack. That means potentially over $400 worth for just $169. You've got nothing to loose by giving it a try! Until Next time, Stay Crafty!
