Preparandoci per la treccia mettiamo insieme i due fili uniti. Così abbiamo i tre fili necessari per cominciare. Prendiamo il filo a destra, portiamolo sopra al filo di sinistra e posizioniamolo nel mezzo Ora prendiamo il filo a sinistra, portiamolo sopra il filo di destra e posizioniamolo nel mezzo. Di nuovo prendiamo il filo a sinistra, portiamolo sopra al filo di destra e posizioniamolo nel mezzo. Un'altra volta prendiamo il filo a destra, portiamolo sopra al filo di sinistra e posizioniamolo nel mezzo. Continuiamo con questa sequenza di movimenti e piano piano creiamo la nostra treccia.
