Beautiful ancient piercing & cutting implement, dating back 12,500 - 8,000 BC or earlier. Most likely a pick axe, and could have also been used as a digging tool. Obvious hafting at the base indicates a handle was attached. Extremely sharp edges, and a piercing tip, made this one of a kind relic a killing machine. Hand crafted from light grey chert, and measures 5 1/4" L x 4 1/4" W x 1 3/4" deep at base. Discovered in Stone County, Arkansas. This would make a fine addition to any artifact collection.
