How do Freemasons greet each other? What do the secret handshakes and coded passwords mean when Freemasons recognize each other for the first time?
I started collecting vintage fake fruits and veggies from estate sales and thrift stores. You know, the kind everyone else walks right past. With a bit of paint, I tried to make some of the fake produce look realistically spoiled.

Hi everyone hope you are all well and having a crafty time. I have a plaque for you today using the new stencils from The artistic Stamper, and some Artistic stamper stamps. Firstly I brayered on the fresco paint till it resembled old stone. I then used a pallet knife to apply the grunge paste to the top left I applied this quite thickly so it would resembled old stone once I had stamped into it using the circular column toppers of the architecture plate. I inked up the stained glass window off the architecture plate stamped it twice with black stazon once onto the background and once onto spare card. This was then cut out and stuck into the frame of the main image of the arch. I used the Artistic Stamper lace background stamp & inked it up with stazon black ink This resembles peeled paint if you used the right area's. Stamp around the Arch window. I put texture paste through the Artistic Stamper flourish stencil, I then sprinkled a mix of pale blue and gold embossing powder and dried with a heat gun. I used the Framelits die and glued this up the side after I had sprayed it with spiced marmalade and rusty hinge distress spray stains. I wasn't keen on the colour although it did look like an old Gothic building I wanted it to look vibrant and highlight the swirl texture. I stamped the calligraphy mat 4 on distress treated paper which had been swiped with old page and stained walnut. I used the distress stain sprays to spray the entire piece to make it more vibrant. I highlighted in area's with gilding wax. I applied a three embellishments to look like old rusty bolts. I must admit looking at it it reminds me of Rapunzel maybe the swirl is her hair That's it for today as always let me know what you think remember look at your stamps and see what other patterns they can create. Cheers Dee x Products used The following Artistic Stamper Stamps Architecture Plate, Caligraphy Mat 4 & Lace background stamp. Fresco finish paint Chalk, Slate and Blue Oyster. Don’t have the Ikea or Kmart Play Kitchen? NO PROBLEM! Introducing our Cafe Arch Decals. Stick the arch decal on the wall next to your little one’s play kitchen or play shop... simply PEEL, STICK and SMOOTH. Our cafe will provide hours of imaginary play, learning and fun! And better still, our decals are fully removable and reusable, so you can move the decal whenever you’d like! The Cafe arch measures 76cm h x 60cm w and is available in several colourways. To purchase, use our drop down menu to select your colourway. A word from our artist... Hello, I’m Phoebe, a stay at home working mum, to a busy but independent four year old daughter! As a childcare educator for the past seven plus years and now running my own Family Daycare, I know how much time and effort goes into planning and building onto your child’s play areas. I’ve found that I’m setting up a new theme in the play kitchen to extend the level of interest and explore a new way of role play with the children. But it’s also a lot of effort, planning and can end up being expensive printing everything off! I wanted to design something that can be used in an open ended way, that you can add ‘extras’ from around the house to suit the shop front and it can be taken down and re-used whenever you want! I’m a very excited to be collaborating with Kristy and her team to bring these Shop Fronts to families who don’t have the time to create their own! We hope you love them as much as we do! Love, Phoebe xx ***The colours seen here will appear different when printed, as the website photos are a representation only. Please order a sample chart to confirm that the colour is right for your project. To install: Our Cafe arch comes in one piece. Installation literally takes minutes. Leave the backing sheet on, and place the arch on the wall with blu tac to ensure perfect placement. Peel the backing sheet down about 10cm, then stick and smooth it onto the wall. Check it’s level before you continue, adjust if needed. Repeat the process of peeling down 10cm and sticking until the entire decal is installed. Use your clean hand or squeegee to firmly smooth the decal onto the wall.
