Because it already has a pretty, curved label look it is simply beautiful on it's own without adding much more to it. Here are 3 of the 5 cards you'll receive in your cards kit...

Happy Saturday Peeps!!! It is time for another Our Creative Corner Challenge. This week our hostess with the mostest is the fabulous Tui Nathan and she has fun challenge for us: Black and White with a splash of Colour" Create a card, or paper craft item with the colours Black and White, then add a splash of a colour of your choosing. I had this wonderful pack of DSP, Morning Mocha by Stampin UP and hadn't broken into it yet, so this challenge was the perfect opportunity. This black piece is gorgeous with a flocked design. I added my "splash" of color by making a red flower using the Floral Fusion die. I used the little leaves die and made my white leaves. I added some large pearls and black satin ribbon. I think this card would be great for a wedding or anniversary card but since I am not in the need for one of those, I choose to make it a "thank you". The sentiment on here is from the "Thank You Kindly" stamp set. Be sure to check the Our Creative Corner Blog to see what the rest of the design team came up with for this fun challenge. I hope you can find some time to play along and if you do, don't forget to link it up over on the Our Creative Corner Blog so we can all see it! Thanks for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!! Botanical Name: Potentilla anserina, Argentina anserina. The genus name Potentilla derives from the Latin word 'Potentia' which means power. The other genus name Argentina is drawn from the Latin word 'argentum' meaning silver. The species' scientific name anserina means 'of the goose', either because the plant was used as food for geese or because the leaves bear a resemblance to geese feet. Most Sandinativan common names of the plant include the word 'goose'. At first, the plant was placed in the genus Potentilla by Carl Linnaeus (1707 - 1778), a Swedish botanist, physician, and zoologist, but was reclassified in 1990

This is a 12" x 18" poster of a series of watercolor lichens and mosses. With thousands of species of both moss and lichen in the world, I have limited my illustrations here to 12 common genera of each. I have drawn a particular species for each of these 12 for illustration purposes, but the genus of each illustration can usually be found on more than one continent and even in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. This poster has been professionally printed onto lovely matte 100 lb card stock and is initialed and dated on the reverse. ★ Frame not included ★ The generous top and bottom margins are perfect for framing using a wooden poster hanger (which also makes it very easy to change out posters every now and then). This listing does NOT include the wooden, magnetic poster hanger used in the photo. Your poster will be carefully packaged in a kraft tube for mailing. ★ Frame not included ★ I do my best to portray colors accurately, however different monitors (and cameras) will vary in how they display colors. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER AND GET 10% OFF: https://twigandmoth.myflodesk.com/newsletter ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ***Purchase does not transfer copyright. Hello, a quick post and lots of pictures today to share with you two vintage ephemera folios I've made. I followed a tutorial on how to make this kind of folio on OakHouseJournals YouTube channel. Here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkUpOaecQPQ&t The base of both folios is a piece of kraft cardstock. The first label/ephemera folio is collaged using papers from Craft O Clock called: vintage bisou. The sleeve is a piece of baking paper. This folio contains journaling cards, labels and tags, two vellum bags, some printables from Artymaze and a few labels from Tracy Fox. The second folio I decorated with vintage French ephemera scraps I bought at a French Etsy store. The sleeve is a tea dyed wrinkled piece of copy paper, collaged with scraps. This folio holds labels and (handmade) tags, tickets, some Tracy Fox labels and authentic vintage French ephemera. I like how they turned out but the second one is my favourite. Thanks so much for stopping by. Hugs, Henriëtte.
