About this Image:This is a portrait of Christ in reflection. The olive branches around Him represent the Garden of Gethsemane, the light pouring down from above represents the presence of the Father. It is a chance for the viewer to contemplate the face of Christ as He reflects about the sacrifice he is about to make, and also for us to see the great love He has for us.About the Artist:ANNIE HENRIE NADER knew she wanted to be an artist at an early age. About this Image: Verily I say unto you, Insamuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. - Matthew 25:40This is the moment where the good Samaritan is binding up the man who was injured from thieves. The Good Samaritan looks similar to the Savior figure, that as we work to become more like the Savior, we will have His image in our countenances. It is left to the viewer to decide what position they are in- are their wounds being bound up by the Savior, or are they binding up the wounds of others on His behalf.About the Artist:ANNIE HENRIE NADER knew she wanted to be an artist at an early age. The most fundamental questions in our lives--questions about where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going--are answered when we have a true understanding of the Plan of Salvation. Such an understanding is deepened and enlivened by images illustrating God's eternal plan for His children, like these uniquely beautiful and newly released paintings from artist Annie Henrie.
About this Image:And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people. - Revelation 14:6The original idea for this painting came from the concept of angels joyfully rushing to declare "good tidings," the good news of Christ’s birth. Often angels are used as messengers and as God’s communication between heaven and earth. They bring us His love, compassion, support in all its forms.About the Artist:ANNIE HENRIE NADER knew she wanted to be an artist at an early age. About this Image:Fresh courage take. Our God will never us forsake; All is well! All is well! - Come, Come, Ye Saints; Hymn No. 30This painting depicts two scenes: a Mormon pioneer handcart company trekking west, and the last parting glance at their temple in Nauvoo, as seen from across the Mississippi. This image would have been the last memory they had of their beautiful city and the temple they labored to build. The company is not alone in their journey—they are accompanied and guarded by angels along the way. We can echo their example in moving forward joyfully despite loss and hardship, having faith that heaven is not too far away.About the Artist:ANNIE HENRIE NADER knew she wanted to be an artist at an early age. It is a sacred moment to realize God's hand in our lives, and a reminder for us to see that angels are among us.About the Artist:ANNIE HENRIE NADER knew she wanted to be an artist at an early age.
