Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a flower for you using the Someone Special stamp set and matching Special Day Dies (available again on June 3, 2020). It follows the new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! To start my card, I first die cut a circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies, and then created a field of flowers using the smaller flower image from the Special Someone stamp set. I then colored the flowers with Poppy Parade and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends. Don't you just love how this cute raccoon can hold a flower? Adorable. I paired my stamped scene with a checkered piece of Poppy Parade DSP and finished it off with some Peaceful Poppies Sequins. Here's this weeks new color challenge at Sunday Stamps!: Challenge Guidelines Feel free to use any brand of product you have. The colors from this challenge MUST be the primary colors on your project. Please Link up a new project created for this challenge (no back links). Feel free to combine our challenge with up to FOUR other challenges. We reserve the right to delete any links that do not adhere to challenge rules. Please provide a link to us or use the graphic above in your post. Have Fun!!! The challenge will end on Friday May 29th @ 6pm EST. I really liked how this turned out and decided to make a few more to tuck into some of my customer host code gifts. It's nice to use up some retiring DSP, otherwise I might just hoard it. lol May Host Code: 662JAEHJ Place a $40 order (before shipping/tax) using my host code during the month of MAY, and receive the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush as my thank you gift. Today I just have to share with you two beautiful Stamp Sets called Very Versailles and Fanciful Fragrance they are both in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue for 2019 - 2020. I recently had a card class with my crafty friends and we made this vintage card together. The inks and coloured Cardstock I’ve used is Gray Granite, Memento Black and Whisper White. I ran a piece of Whisper White Cardstock through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder, sponged lightly over the Embossed image in Gray Granite Ink and the Dauber. The detail of the fragrance bottles is just amazing and when stamped onto the Cardstock you can really see the detail. Using Memento Black Ink makes it very elegant. For the Ribbon and Trim I’ve used the Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace trim and Braided Linen Trim which has been frayed at the ends. I secured them together with a piece of Linen Thread and I made a bow and attached it with a Glue Dot. The font in the Very Versailles Stamp Set is just stunning, I stamped it in Memento on Whisper White Cardstock, fussy cut around sentiment and sponged the edges in Gray Granite Ink. Gray Granite is becoming one of my new favs at the moment. What do you think about this colour? Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope I have inspired you to create using these two Stamp Sets. Happy crafting Vicki Boucher Product List Stamps: Fanciful Fragrance and Very Versailles Inks: Gray Granite and Memento Black Ink Cardstock: Whisper White and Gray Granite Ribbon & Trim: Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim, Braided Linen Trim and Linen Thread Other Stampin’ Up! I was instantly drawn to the gorgeous little creatures in the Love you Lots Set for two reasons. 1.They are super cute and 2. They are fabulous to add some colour to, one of my crafting passions. Yay! I've created 4 cards for you today with all the same design but just changing the little animals from the set. They are very 'clean' from they way that I normally create but I really love the clean lines and the less is more look. I stamped the images with Stazon and then using and aqua painted picked up the colour from the lid of the ink pad and then added some colour. Super cute! Right??!!! A fun new set that starts tomorrow with the new Occasions or spring catalog called Let It Ride! I love horses- my favorite animal and thought it will be awesome coloring this set whether with water coloring or like today with my Stampin Blends markers. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black on the Very Vanilla background. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede. I layered this on a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock I ran through the Big Shot with the Simple Stripes embossing folder. It is a Very Vanilla base under it all. I colored the trees with dark Granny Apple Green and the trunks and bottom in light Crumb Cake. I colored the horse in Light and dark Soft Suede, Ivory, Bronze, and used the color lifter in a few spots. I like how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by! Hello stampers! I'm back from a lovely time away and I appreciate your patience. Balance in life is a good thing and taking complete time away with your loved ones is so important. Wildly Happy is a stamp set that oozes love. While I think the original intent was for baby cards, I have hopefully shown that it can definitely be adapted for all kinds of other occasions. For some reason I wanted to use the stitched nested labels, the new in colours and the coordinating ribbon on these cards. I also played around with different colouring techniques.
Hi everyone! Today I am sharing my latest card creation with the super cute Stampin Up! Kangaroo and Company stamp set. Hello!....Well l'm back from a whirlwind few days in Brisbane for Stampin Up's On-Stage live event and to say l'm just a little excited, overwhelmed and sooo tired is an understatement..:0) It was a fabulous and fun way to spend a few days with some lovely friends. But reality has kicked in and the struggle is real...time to get creating! Our challenge over at Just Add Ink this week is all about these pretty colours! During "Onstage" l received the brand new "Swan Lake" stamp set in prize patrol. And although this is definitely not a set l would normally choose, l thought l would step outside my comfort zone and see if l could come up with something l liked...:0) I stamped, water coloured and sponged all images on some SU Shimmer c/stock and used the fab "New" stitched framelits to create the oval. The sentiment is from another "New" stamp set that we were lucky enough to receive in our check in bags, called "Suite Sentiments"...Loving the versatile sentiments in this set. Both of these sets will be available in the Occasions catalogue on the 4th of January 2017 and will coincide with the release of the fab new Sab products as well. Not that it photographed all that well, but there is a whole lot of Wink of Stella sparkle happening too! I also have another card l made using these colours, to which l have added a "Neutral" Crumbcake, which we do allow in our colour challenges by the way..:0) Don't forget to swing by the challenge blog for some more fab inspiration from the design team. Thanks for stopping by! All supplies used are Stampin Up!
