Here's a closeup--the little fishie is hand cut and adhered with dimensionals, but the big fish is part of the Very Vanilla circle itself. And it's such an easy trick when you know how! It is very similar to this technique, but done with a die instead of a paper trimmer. First, stamp your images and sentiment close together. You can trace the size of your die...

Stampin' Up! DistINKtive Stamps are Awesome!!
Thank you for joining the Crazy Crafters team today for our team blog hop today. We have a very special guest Sarah Berry from the UK joining us and she has LOTS of inspiration for us to CASE - Copy And Selectively Edit. You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can hop all the way around using the list at the end of this post. Here is the card of Sarah's that inspired me today - I really loved the stitched shapes square and simple flower with the sentiment all in that one piece. I decided you use a stamp set that hasn't been inked yet - it's called All the Good Things. I used my Old olive and Early Espresso Marker on this amazing Distinktive Stamp set. These stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image for realistic depth and intensity. You have to try them out as they are just gorgeous stamps. I really enjoy taking part in our Random Acts of Kindness Facebook Group and sending RAK love around the world. I felt as thought his sentiment was just perfect for a RAK card. I decided to add the ribbon as it was looking a little masculine without it! However you could remove the ribbon and right away you have a great masculine card too! I used my Bow Easy Maker to make that perfect little bow. I hope that you have been inspired by my card today, the same way I was inspired by our guest Sarah Berry. It has been awesome having her here to hop along with us. Please make sure you don't miss any of the blog posts below. I know you are going to get LOTS of inspiration today. Hey peaches! I'm so excited to share a fun and easy technique with you today! I like to call it "Delayed Embossing" and I'll explain why in just a moment. For this technique, I'll be using the All The Good Things Stamp Set, specifically the koi fish in the set. For this technique you will also need the following supplies: Memento Black Ink Another Non-Pigmented Ink (I chose Mango Melody Ink) Sponge Dauber Clear Embossing Powder Heat Tool I begin by inking up my koi fish stamp in Mango Melody Ink. Then I use my Sponge Dauber to add the black ink onto a few areas of the fish. I huff on the stamp to re-moisten the ink and stamp my image. Now here's where the "delayed embossing" part comes in. Give you stamped image about 5-10 seconds (this time will depend on your area's climate) and then add Clear Embossing Powder all over the image. Then heat set it. I love that when you use Clear Powder you can still see the gorgeous stamped color still. The juicier parts of the stamp, or the parts that had the most concentration of ink will still be a bit wet and cling to the powder, allowing just some areas to be embossed. You can see in the close-up image above the cool, shiny effect. I thought this was perfect for a fish image and almost looks like his scales are shinning from the water. I hope that you have enjoyed this technique and will give it a try. It's so easy and produces such fun, unique results that will bump your projects up with such a "wow" factor. Stampin' Up! DistINKtive Stamps are Awesome!!
All the Good Things, on page 151, is a great set, and works well in conjunction with the Stamparatus. When you use the Stamparatus, you can ink up small portions of the image, and keep adding color until you are happy with the results. Patty Bennett did a really great video, showing this technique here All of the images in this set lend themselves to this technique. Whether you use markers or spots, it is very satisfying, as you are able to make color adjustments. It is more forgiving than watercoloring, which is a bonus for me!
Welcome back!!! Today it’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop time and today we have a sketch as our challenge! Check it out! And here is my creation using the All the Good Things stamp set

Throwback Thursday with the stamp set, All The Good Things. I got this Koi fish card from a swap years ago that was made by Valerie Sanchez. This was a stamp set that I really liked and never got and maybe why I can't part with this card yet! This card uses so many great items that are retired. The embossing folder, the ribbon, and even the embellish bubbles she used. This photo can't capture it but the detail on this fish is amazing and I believe was one of the first Distinktive styles that Stampin' UP! released! Distinktive** stamp set; it has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images. **Patent pending She also used the clear embossing powder over this fish image to create a shiny look but keep the color integrity of the image. Hope you have enjoyed to blast to the past and if you have this stamp set still to pull it out and create something amazing with it! Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!

Project #3 for the day is a color challenge and stamp challenge. My friend Tracy & I decided to use the All The Good Things stamp set and the same colors: Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green and Balmy Blue. I really like how this card came out after trying several unsuccessful attempts with the normal koi colors, this one really turned out great! ~Enjoy! A koi fish stamp with lots of detail. This stamp is a great design for creating lovely patterns on fabric, gift wrap, tea towels, home decor items and much more. A great gift for sea life lovers. The koi fish represents good fortune, perseverance and strength giving this design lovely symbolism. Stamps measure: Koi fish: approx 7 cm X 6cm Lotus flower: 4.2cm x 3.7cm Lily pad 1 large: 3.5cm Lily pad 2 small: 2.3cm This design is taken from my own hand drawn illustration and transferred to rubber. This stamp is made to order. I hand carved each one giving each stamp a truly unique finish. Every stamp comes with its own fabric bag ready for gifting.
