Patched up Jeans, Blouse, Sash and Headband The dollcloset is filled to the brim with beautiful doll clothes for the 18" doll. I love this shop and the clothes are just darling. I have to admit that I have an 18" American Girl doll -- and I'm not a little girl by the way, not by a long shot. I bought the doll as a collector so she's tucked away, but if I did want to dress her up, these would be the clothes to check out. It does make me want to take her out of her box and dress her up -- these clothes would look so cute on her. Silver Satin Party Dress

NEW! PATTERN NOW INCLUDES AN SVG FILE FOR CUTTING MACHINES SUCH AS CRICUT! Ann Van Doren Designs presents a pattern for an 18" doll's Sherpa style jacket or vest. ***Please note: pattern is designed to fit the newer less plump dolls and is NOT designed to close in the front. If you want the jacket to close in the front, you will need to alter the pattern. It is modeled by my doll Nellie who measures 10 3/4" under her arms (chest) and 10 1/2" at the waist. The fabric I used is "minky cuddle" and is soft and has some stretch. If you use a heavier and stiffer fabric, you may need to enlarge the pattern. I recently purchased a new Kit doll and this jacket is snugger on her, so please measure your doll before printing the pattern. If your doll measures larger than my Nellie, you may want to print the pattern slightly larger than 100%. An alternate view with two-sided Pendleton® wool is included. An 11" x 30" piece of fabric will make one jacket. 1/3 yard will make two jackets. Additional fabric may be needed for Pendleton® wool, depending on the length of the pattern repeat. The jacket is quick and easy to make with only 4 pattern pieces. No special seaming technique or seam finishing is required for cuddle-suede. Double-sided wool should be edge finished. The pattern also makes a cute vest - just leave off the sleeves! See https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1090277961 for an example. The pattern includes step-by-step instructions with large full color photographs for each step and is suggested for advanced beginner to intermediate level sewers who are already familiar with standard sewing terms and techniques. It is available as an instant downloadable pdf file and prints out on standard 8 1/2 x 11" paper. ©Ann Van Doren I am not affiliated with any doll company. American made with pride!
