Isn't this just the cutest? I don't usually buy juvenile sets, but the entire Dinoroar Suite is irresistible! If you need a little cuteness for many occasions, then the Dino Days stamp set is for you. It's really is 'Rawr-some'! For this card I stamped only the sentiment and the spine for the Dinosaur. The Dinosaurs are die cut from the DSP! Stampin' Up! often does a Designer Paper which has the images matched to the dies. It makes an easy project! And gives your card a really finished look. From whimsical thank you cards to birthday cards to
What's a Stamp Set Greetings Index? It's an index section that was included in past catalogs to help you quickly find the perfect greeting for your card making. If you have several Stampin' Up! stamp sets or are looking to purchase a stamp set with just the right greeting(s), this resource is a great tool for YOU (and me too)! For the past few years, Stampin' Up! has included a Greetings Index section in the Annual Catalogs. However, in an effort to reduce the # of pages and weight of this year's catalog (making it easier for demonstrators), this section...

If you’re a regular visitor (and, if you are, thank you!), then you’ll know I’m a sucker for a woodland theme. My craft stash is bulging with woodland-themed products – and, with the new Autumn/Winter catalogue, my collection just got a whole lot bigger. The Nature’s Beauty stamp set was sure to end up on my list – and finding out that £2.50 from every sale goes to mental health charities in the UK was a bonus. This is one of the projects we made at Crafty Friday last week. Along with the stamp set, I used the new Beautiful Boughs Dies and the Woodland Embossing Folder. I stamped the fox first, then masked with a sticky note before stamping the foliage around him in Gray Granite. The stark white theme is enhanced with a splash of silver, which echoes the Gray Granite (my silver ink pad isn't due to arrive until today!) and really helps the Cajun Craze fox to stand out.
Hello stampers! If you grew up in the eighties like me, chances are that you know Lady in Red by Chris de Burgh. I really do love this song and I also love the colour red. No surprise then that I chose to highlight the colour red in my creations using the Parisian Blossoms suite. Cherry cobbler to be specific, but Lady in Cherry Cobbler doesn't sound quite as catchy, more like a gluttonous mini person caught in a dessert pan! Some More Cards I do love this card so much with it's luscious red flowers. Combining

When I opened my new box of Stampin' Up! 2020 supplies, I just had to use the Peaceful Poppies designer paper from the new Stampin' UP! 2020 Jan-June Mini catalog first!! I created 72 cards with the Peaceful Poppies suite of products by cutting each piece of designer paper into 6 cards fronts. I chopped all of the designer paper into 4' strips and then cut the strips into 5-1/4' x 4' pieces. NOTE: when you cut the design with the poppies on the tall stems (front/center in photo above) be sure to cut that extra 1-1/2' strip out

Welcome to a new challenge at As You See It! This week, we have a great sketch for you. I'm sure you'll see the many possibilities. If you visit the As You See It blog, you'll see the super examples that the rest of the ream have done. As this challenge begins, it's the final few days of Sale-a-bration - your chance to earn fabulous freebies with qualifying orders, which is a great way to make your crafting money go further. So my card uses a number of Sale-a-bration freebies: The Botanical Butterflies DSP, the organdy ribbon combo pack and the Butterfly Elements embellishments. In fact, I got so carried away with the sketch that I made a whole set of cards using the design. The SAB ribbon pack has five colours in it, so I made one of each colour. I've CAS-ed an idea from the ever-amazing Paula Dobson. She made some cards where she coloured in the negative space on the black and white butterfly paper. This was an idea I completely loved and have used for these cards. The Stampin' Blends make this so very easy. The sentiments come from Itty Bitty Birthday and, for the thank you, from Detailed with Love. The lacy edge is from the Doily Builder thinlit set, a real honey of a set which is set to sell out soon so if you want some - get in quick! You can play along with us until Wednesday 10 April, 11.55 p.m. PST. We'd love to see what you do with the sketch! If you live anywhere in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up demonstrator, I'd love to be yours and to help you with ideas and Stampin' Up products. Today I am sharing a fun fold card we made at my July FMN class featuring the Tropical Chic stamp set and coordinating Tropical thinlit dies that you can currently purchase as a bundle and save 10%.
Hello and welcome. You are currently visiting Karen Farquhar from Australia for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges. For challenge #025 we have a colour challenge the pretty colour combination of Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist. I felt these bright, beautiful colours had a tropical feel so I have chosen to use the stamp set and thinlits bundle Tropical Chic for my projects today. With the cold weather still hanging around I can only dream of a beautiful tropical resort with drinks being served while I lie soaking up the warm sun by the pool. My niece actually owns a resort in Sir Lanka and has offered us an open invitation, so maybe one day. For today's projects I have made 2 thank you cards and a gift box. You may notice the subtle differences in the card samples above and the little gift box. Firstly I have used sponging to give a blended effect to the hibiscus flowers and leaves where as the flowers and leaf on the box below were stamped. Also there are two types of dies in the set. The above cards have had their leaves diecut to the outline of the stamped image whereas the flowers and leaf on the box were diecut leaving a border around the stamped image. With my stamps and dies still on my craft table I thought I would create a Scrapbook page in my feeble attempt to do some catching up with my Grandchildren's albums. This set is so versatile I can also see a few more Scrapbook pages begging to be made. Thank you for visiting me today. Please you are more than welcome to enter your projects for the Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges. We really would love to see your creations. Hello there and welcome to 2020 on the blog! The Just Add Ink team are kicking off the new year with our annual blog hop. It is extra special this year as we are celebrating 10 years and 1000 followers for the Just Add Ink challenges! You may have come from Denita's blog, be starting the blog hop here on my blog, or you can go to Just Add Ink, and then follow the links at the end of each team members blog post on to the next. This year the theme is very appropriately 'Celebrate!'. So many joyful occasions can fall under that theme. For me the first big family event of the year is my daughters birthday, so birthday card it is. I had a blogging break at the end of the last year, and was a bit worried I might be rusty, but the sheer enjoyment of playing with new stuff (TimelessTropical in particular, which ironically was not my first pick from the new SU! mini catalogue) and colouring made putting this card together easier than expected. It really is all about the colouring! I stamped my images in a very light ink and then used SU! Blends (alcohol markers) to no line colour the flowers. I should really have taken step-by-step photos as for most of the process honestly they look pretty ordinary and then at the end the multiple layers of ink, blend and end up looking finished. So my best tip for alcohol marker colouring is to persist and keep adding layers of colour and contrast. Jan McQueen is next on the blog hop, so please go on and check out her fantastic project, and then to the rest of the team. Then come back and join in the challenge we'd love to see your 'Celebrate' project. Thanks for visiting, Kim Project Recipe: To see and order any items used in today's project, just click on the items below to see them in my Online Store. I love the suites that Stampin' Up! put together, especially the Broadway Bound Suite. I actually got this Suite out to make a birthday card for my baby brother (well he is actually 47 next week, but he will always be my baby brother). I made his card and then got on a roll to make another for my sister-in-law who turns 50 10 days later (you will have to guess which card I made for my sister-in-law). As I was in the card making zone I decided to show case this suite this week. So I have made a card for each day this week. I will be posting the card for my brother on his birthday which is Tuesday. I have used a Lemon Lime Twist card base as this is one of the colours in the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper is just gorgeous, on one side it has the Lovely Lipstick, Gray Granite, Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twise and Basic Black colours and on the reverse it has Basic Black, Gray Granite, Whisper White and Gold. The stamp set used is Broadway Birthday and the dies are the Broadway Lights Framelits. Don't forget the inside of your card. I stamped the Make A wish with Black Momento and the Wish in Lovely Lipstick. If you live in Australia you can get all the supplies you need for this project from me. You can place an order online or Contact Me and place an order. SHOP WITH ME! Thank you for visiting. Carolyn Share:facebook - twitter - pinterest Broadway Bound Suite - Day 1
