Hozzávalók: 5 dkg világoskék és kevés halványsárga közepesen vastag műszálfonal 5 db 3,5-es harisnyakötőtű Mérete: 37-es lábra Méretpróba: 25 szem x 40 sor = 10 x 10 cm 1. lépés: sárga fonallal, 44 szemmel kezdtem (minden tűre 11 szemet szedtem fel). 10 kört kötöttem csavart patentmintával, majd 30 kört világoskékkel, sima kötéssel. A mintát a 6-8. sorokba tettem. 2. lépés: kétfelé vettem a munkát, és az egyik oldalán sárgával folytattam. 22 sort haladtam egyenesen. 3. lépés: a középső 6 szem két oldalán minden második sorban 1-1 szemet fogyasztottam: a 6 szem előtt áthúzással, a 6 szem után összekötéssel. Végül 8 szem maradt a tűn. 4. lépés: a sárga rész oldalain 18-18 szemet felszedtem, és világoskékkel, újra körkötéssel folytattam. A sárga és a kék találkozásánál 2-2 szemet mindkét oldalon összekötöttem, hogy ne maradjon lyuk. Aztán a 22 eredetileg világoskék szem mindkét oldalán a széleitől 2-2 szemre levő 2-2 szemből egyet készítettem minden körben, a sor elején áthúzással,a sor végén összekötéssel.

“Pumila ” is a lightweight mini shawl i deal for chilly spring and autumn days. I designed it like string s of small fruit s using n upp and Little knot stitch. Nupp is often shown in Estonian Haapsalu lace shawl and I used it here with a little twist. This shawl can be knit with any yarn, so try to knit with variety of fiber and weight of yarn. The pattern includes both charts and written instructions.

Light and lofty brioche stitch makes the ideal wrap or lap blanket. Douro explores the possibilities of traveling lines in brioche, wandering from symmetry to asymmetry and back to regular ribs. The two halves culminate in a band of garter stitch fused at the center spine with the Joinery Bind-Off. Worked from written instructions, this pattern is a good way to step up from basic brioche knitting. Designer: Norah Gaughan Collection: Winter 2018

Inspired by a moody late summer the shawl BLAUBEEREN (German: Blueberries) is a light, tender and fascinating accessory. No matter if on a chilly summer night, sitting in a shade on a sunny summer day or for any other season of the year this shawl will become a wonderful companion. The combination of a fine lace and garter stitch brings a lot of fun to the knitting process and creates an exciting result. The shawl is knitted flat beginning from one corner to the opposite side. The inclined triangular shape is created by increasing and decreasing the stitches. Slipped edge stitches give the shawl a nice slick finish. This design has an intermediate skill level and it is suitable for knitters with some knitting experience or for knitting beginners looking for a special challenge. The pattern contains a step by step description, a schematic and knitting tutorials (photo and text).
I hope you have your yarn all ready to make this gorgeous squishy shawl, made from Scheepjes River Washed XL! I’m not going to beat around the bush, we’re going to get straight into it.…
This cosy triangular shawl combines lovely graphic mosaic knitting, garter stitch and a beautiful lace pattern that echoes the diamond mosaic motif. It is worked in fingering weight yarn in two colours. Big colour blocks, bold mosaic diamonds and elegant lace create a fascinating interplay of colour & texture in this eyecatching item! The two-colour diamond motif is created with the mosaic knitting technique, which is easy to knit as it uses slipped stitches and only one colour at a time. Knit on the bias as a sideways triangle with a centred bottom tip makes it a cosy and easy to wear shawl. The pattern comes in fully written out instructions as well as charted ones. I hope you enjoy the pattern! This design was created in collaboration with Seven Sisters Arts and I had the pleasure to work with the fabulous Apex yarn for my sample! Description Wildflowers of the Scottish highlands furnish the inspiration for this pretty, lightweight triangle shawl in two sizes (petite/tall). Worked from center back to hem using a provisional cast on to begin, the simple floral stitch patterns replicate an awakening springtime landscape, ending with a deeply scalloped hemline. The stitchwork is repetitive and easily memorized, making this a wonderful project for new lace knitters. Choose a relaxed, longwool yarn that will block well to shape the dramatic patterning. Description This fanciful triangle shawl in two sizes (petite/tall) features a nearly sheer mesh pattern that swirls into a deeply etched, textured motif at the hem with mesmerizing movement. When knit in a fine lace yarn, the linework will stand out in stark relief against a sheer background fabric. A mix of simple and complex lacework will keep this project interesting for intermediate and experienced lace knitters who want to stretch their skills. One skein project & no purls! INFO La Laguna, named after the Spanish word for ‘lagoon,’ alternates subtly varied bands of solid and mesh fabric for an interesting rippling effect across the shawl. This little shawl design is the perfect vacation or carry-along project, calling for only a single skein of fingering-weight yarn and making the most of that precious skein you have been saving, whether solid, semi-solid, or variegated. Videos are provided to explain the knitting techniques, which include only garter, eyelets, and slip stitches, and no purl stitches at all. Such an easy and fun project that you might not be able to stop at just one! This airy design is easy to work from fully written-out directions with stitch counts, as well as a schematic and an easy-to-read chart. The shawl looks equally pretty on both sides. YARN Wol met Verve (100% SW merino, 100 gr-400yds/366m), 1 skein. Sample yardage (361yds/330m) in color Plume-light. Or any fingering weight yarn: approx. 330-437yds (361-400m) total. MATERIALS 24” (minimum 60 cm) circular or straight needles. US 5 (3.75 mm). Stitch markers, tapestry needle. GAUGE - BLOCKED 4” (10 cm) In garter stitch pattern, 22 stitches x 30 rows. Gauge is not crucial at all, but will affect final size and yardage. FINISHED DIMENSIONS Approx. 69” (175 cm) wingspan along top edge 12” (30 cm) width. Unblocked: 50” (127 cm) x 14” (35 cm). ADJUSTMENTS Adjustments are provided in the pattern. Different sizes and fits can also be achieved by altering yarn weight and/or needle size(s). The shawl will be equally pretty in a Sport or DK weight yarn.
Adding one 12 stitch repeat to make it wider. Cast on 70 stitches. This pattern is very easy. The charts, at first, look daunting because the symbols change every other row - how are you supposed to remember that? Someone on Ravelry said she went through and highlighted all the purl stitches so she could remember. But a few rows into it, I realized you don’t need to do anything like that - if you remember that every single row begins with 3 knit stitches, then you know in that particular row what the knit symbol is going to be. The purls are just the opposite symbol. Easy! 86” x 16” blocked. Blogged about here.
Slightly asymmetrical, triangle shaped shawl, worked from one tip to the bind off edge. The shawl is worked with two colors but it will work as a one color version also. Please note that the lace pattern is charted only.
