Hi Crafty Friends, Today I am sharing two cards I created using some of the new products released this month from Divinity Designs (previously known as Our Daily Bread Designs). Both cards feature the new Glorious Easter Stamp set and the Spring Flowers Collection 2019 Paper Pack. For my first card today I have used Divinity Designs Half-Shutter Card with Layers die set. This die was released in January and I am hoping lots of fun playing with it. To decorate my card I used some of the new papers from the Spring Flowers Collection 2019 6 x 6 Designer Paper Pack. This pack contains 24 designer papers and 12 solid colors and there are 3 of each color/pattern in the set. These papers are absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't wait to use them on some cards. For this card I decided to go with the paper that had the tulip border along the bottom. On the front portion of the card I stamped the tulip from the Glorious Easter Stamp set layering the image onto the card using the Ovals and new Scalloped Ovals die set. I added two of the sentiments from the stamp set to the inside of the card again using the Ovals & Scalloped Ovals die sets for layering. For my second card today I created a Double Display Card using the Double Display Card and Double Display Layers die set. I again used some of the beautiful patterned papers from the Spring Flowers Collection 2019 Paper Pack. To layer the flower image and sentiment in the centre of the card I used the Rectangles & Scalloped Rectangles die set. For the Happy Easter Sentiment on the front of the card I used the Double Stitched Circles die set. Here is a look at my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope. Hello! I'm on the Divinity Designs Blog today with this Poppy Slimline Card. All of the stamps & dies used are from Divinity Designs and the lovely poppy elements? They are from the April 2021 Blessings Box. I am absolutely LOVING these Paper/Die Duo's that are in the Blessings Box. If you are unfamiliar with these Paper/Die Duo's or want more information on the Blessings Box - check out my Unboxing Video. The poppies are in the Beautiful Blossoms Paper/Die Duo #1 (there are THREE different sets included in the Blessings Box!!) and for my first card using them I wanted to make a Slimline Card. The new Slimline Circle Windows die was the perfect backdrop to showcase the flowers. There was room in those windows to stamp several sentiments from the Sweet Friend stamp set that was included in the Blessings Box. I decorated the inside as well, and the layering dies use the new Slimline Pierced Rectangles. There is lots of room to write a message and send this card out for Happy Mail! Hi Crafty Friends, Today I am sharing a Slimline card I created using one of the new stencils from Divinity Designs July Release. For the Slimline portion of my card, I used the Slimline Card Base; Slimline Pierced Layering Rectangles and Slimline Rectangles. To create the background I used the new Mixed Media Stencils - Slimline Diamonds along with the new blending brushes. I masked each row as I was blending the background so that I could create a pink and green background to match the flowers I used to decorate my card. I added a birthday sentiment to the centre of the card which is layered using the Double Stitched Ovals and Ovals die sets. To finish off the front of my card I added the flowers which are from Beautiful Blossoms Set 3 Paper/Die Duos set which was included in the April 2021 Blessings Box. For the inside of my card I added another strip of stencilled cardstock using the same stencil and colors I used on the front of the card. The sentiment is also from the Let's Celebrate Stamp Set which was part of the July 2020 Blessings Box. I added one more rose to the lower right hand corner of my card.
It's the last challenge of the month at ODBD and that means anything goes! I really love how versatile the rose is from the Fragrance stamp set. I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored it watercolor brush pens. I then die-cut it out using ODBD Matting Circles Dies. I embossed it, left it in the die and sponged just a bit of gray ink around the edges. I then layered it a black Doily. The background is made from repeatedly stamping the rose onto white card stock. I then embossed the song title How Great Thou Art in white. I love this hymn - it's my dad's favorite and I remember learning to play it on the piano for him. And no, I can't play it any longer. :( I also did a bit of stamping inside the card - a portion from the hymn surrounded by more roses... my mom's favorite flower. This card is definitely inspired by my parents. Today I pulled out my In Symmetry stamp set and paired it with the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper to share a Clean & Simple card that I love. This Suite of product is fresh and fun! I love the build-a-flower style stamp set in the folk art theme. The papers are divine for mixing and matching the colors are vibrant and happy. Love, love, love the new Expressions in Ink Suite from Stampin'Up! For a start the papers are divine with rich colours and the gold highlights. The stamp set has a lovely font that comes up beautifully when embossed in gold and the Ephemera pack has these lovely gold die cut embellishments. The only extra addition Love, Love, Love!

Hi Crafty Friends, Today I am sharing two projects I created using Divinity Designs April Release. I am featuring the two new stamp sets being released .... Daughter's Best Friend and Grandmother's Heart. For more inspiration using the April Release and to see the other designers projects, be sure to visit the Divinity Designs Blog Unfortunately my supplies from the April Release are still making their way to me from the USA, sometimes the post can be slow to get down here to Australia. So due to this reason, I can't share any of the new patterned papers or die sets being release this month just yet. But I was able to get hold of the digital version of the new stamp sets so I could at least make a couple of cards to share with you today. For my first card I have used the Daughter's Best Friend Stamp set, which includes this beautiful floral image and some fabulous Mother's Day themed sentiments. I created a Flip Fold Card using the Vintage Label Flip Fold Card with Layers die set. I also used the Beautiful Blooms 6 x 6 Paper Pad for the layers of this card. The flower image was stamped onto white cardstock and then die cut using the smaller Vintage Label die included in the die set. I masked the flower and while the die was still in place I sponge pink ink over the label. I added a fishtail tag to the top left side of the label using a die from the Test Tube Trio die set. When you pull the card open, it reveals one of the beautiful Mother's Day sentiments on the flip side of the front label. I also added the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment which I die cut using a rectangle from the Rectangles die set. For my second card today, I have used the new Grandmother's Heart Stamp set. For this card I created an A2 Center Step Card using the Center Step A2 Card and Center Step A2 Layers die sets. This time around I used one of the papers from the Spring Flowers Collection 2019 6 x 6 Paper Pad. To create the layers for my flower and "To my Mom" sentiment, I used the Ovals, Scallop Ovals, Circle and Scallop Circles die sets. I added the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment to the bottom section of the card. I added one of the sentiments from the stamp set to the inside of my card. Good morning! Today we are looking back at the ODBD January Release! I have two cards I am sharing today! My first card is done with the Center Step Card die and Center Step Layers dies and features the new Stamp/Die Duo called Hello Friend! I colored the glorious peonies with copics and cut them out with their coordinating dies. The designer paper is part of the new Romantic Roses Paper Collection. I also used Double Stitched Circles, Doily and the Fancy Fritillary dies. A few pearls complete this card. Here is my second card that I made recently for a friend: This one features the Stamp/Die Duo called His Love Endures.
