WHEW - I am back! I had to take some time off between the holidays because we were a bit busy with pet sitting... got sick... car died... got it fixed and traded in. All is back to good and we can get our crafting back on track... The new occasions catalog has sooooo many neat things that I really am going to be in deep trouble. Here is my first creation for you guys: This is bit more artsy and very easily achieved with the help of the Stamparatus. I stamped the ginkgo first in black StazOn ink onto watercolor paper, then I applied a water wash over it and stamped (almost slapped) the image down onto the wet paper in Mossy Meadow ink... that makes it splatter a bit or at the very least run... it's lots of fun! Der neue Minikatalog für das Frühjahr 2020 und die SAB-Broschüre befinden sich nun auf dem Weg.
Hello Stampers! Here is one of the very first cards I have made using the "Beautiful You" stamp set available soon in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog that goes live on January 4th. Sale-a-Bration, Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year, starts at the same time!! Very few supplies were needed for this card. I did this one using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the figures very close to each other. I did another card without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It turned out good too but the figures were a little further apart. This is a regular size A2 card (finished size 5.5" x 4.25") I stamped all the ladies first with Tuxedo Black memento ink then stamped all but one dress with Smokey Slate ink. Finally I stamped the sentiment and the last dress in Real Red classic ink. The 'Hello You' thinlits were used to cut the "you" out of Real Red card stock.Very subtle and hard to see on the photo are the three tiniest pearls I added for a necklace on the lady in red. Hope you love the simplicity as much as I do. Click on the icon below to get everything you need for this project...except the Beautiful You stamp set which will not be available until January 4th. WAIT!! YOU could already HAVE this stamp set if you were a demonstrator! Why not JOIN MY TEAM?? Send me an email if interested at [email protected] Happy Stampin'! This Power of Hope good luck card uses the stamp set from the Sale-a-bration bundle, against a background of Peaceful Poppies DSP.
That's a mouthful, huh? Poppy Moments, a new set of dies coming on January 3rd, is a beautiful grouping of flower pieces, made to be cut and put together. So today, when I was trying to think of something fun to make, I thought I would cut a bunch of poppies and see what I could do with them. But first...I wanted to play with some Pigment Sprinkles, those little powders that burst into glorious color when added to a water-soaked piece of cardstock. Take a look: This is Granny Apple Green on Watercolor Paper. I spritzed the paper with water, then sprinkled on the Sprinkles, and watched the magic happen. I also did one with the Melon Mambo sprinkles. Then I got busy cutting with the dies: And then I had to make something with it all: Wow! So colorful and lovely! And really quite easy, although it does take time to make the sprinkles-colored page and cut out all the pieces. I used the Painted Poppies stamps to create the background - Smoky Slate, stamped off, on Whisper White. Then I heat-embossed a piece of Vellum with the Peaceful Moments sentiment before mounting it on my card. Finally I pieced together my flowers and leaves; I added Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce to the pieces to give them some definition. I've got lots of leftovers, so you may see more of these cards soon. The Peaceful Poppies Suite is coming January 3rd. Don't miss it! The stamps, dies and especially the Designer Series Paper (which I did not use on this card, but will be showing it this week) will quickly become a favorite! Need a new January-June Mini Catalog? Yay, the Artisan Design Team are hopping today with projects created using products from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration brochure. The Sale-A-Bration pre-earn period is finally here - from 3 December 2019 to 2 January 2020! This means that demonstrators can earn items in the Sale-A-Bration Shop offering early. For every $110 you spend, you choose a free item from the Sale-A-Bration brochure that matches the level you spent. Demonstrators can even use the pre-order of the January-June mini catalogue and purchase items from that catalogue or any other current catalogue, and earn free Sale-A-Bration products! If you aren’t a demonstrator yet, this is a great sneak peek to see what is in store for Sale-A-Bration beginning 3 January 2020! This is just one of the many fabulous perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. How cute is this Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set? And of course, it gets better! There are co-ordinating Lily Pad Dies! The lilies on both these cards have been embossed with White Emboss Powder, heat set and water coloured. The background on the right card has been created by using one of the die cuts from the set as a mask with Emboss Paste and then splattered with Champagne Mist. This stamp set has the added bonus of being a "Reversibles" so the outline image can be stamped first, turned over and stamped again to colour in the image. So versatile as it caters for those who love to colour in and those that don't! The background has been created by embossing "Celebrate" from the Happy Birthday to You Sale-A-Bration set and adding a water colour wash over it. I also used the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend on the lines of the Lily to add a little more depth once I had stamped it. Stampin' Blends have been used to colour the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon too so it co-ordinates with my cards. The Sequins are from the Peaceful Poppies Suite and before I adhered them with glue I used my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to create a little black dot. This made placement easy and I like the look of the sequins being filled in! This pre-order/pre-earn opportunity is an exclusive benefit for demonstrators to enable them to get products early so they are prepared when Sale-A-Bration starts on 3 January. Next up is my fabulous friend Ashley van Camp, her cards are gorgeous! Please keep hopping along and check out all the stunning projects created by the rest of the team - here's a little sneak peek to whet your appetite! Hello stampers! If you grew up in the eighties like me, chances are that you know Lady in Red by Chris de Burgh. I really do love this song and I also love the colour red. No surprise then that I chose to highlight the colour red in my creations using the Parisian Blossoms suite. Cherry cobbler to be specific, but Lady in Cherry Cobbler doesn't sound quite as catchy, more like a gluttonous mini person caught in a dessert pan! Some More Cards I do love this card so much with it's luscious red flowers. Combining

Photo Credit: https://artsymphony.blogspot.com/2012/07/whimsical-world-of-mushrooms.html Good Morning! Yay for Friday, that means it's time for a fun new challenge over at Just Add Ink The lovely Jo has provided this cool inspiration for us to create with and the first thing that popped into my mind was the cute new "Gnome for the Holidays" set. But as l also wanted to create a card for my big, baby girl to let her know how proud l am of her hard earned achievement this week, l decided to create & share both. My lovely friend kindly stamped me some of the images from the "Basket Of Blooms" stamp set, as l knew exactly what l wanted her card to look like...She is a no fuss, clean lines kind of girl and l love that it turned out exactly as the vision l had...Not always the case..lol And for my Gnomes, when looking at the inspiration, l could see a couple of cuties poking their heads out or frolicking in the woods. I decided on gift tags and added them to some fairly decent size packaging created with the Simply Scored board. I trimmed both the tags and gift bags with some Forever Greenery dsp and rummaged through my (non SU) stash for some bells and ribbon to match. The gnome images are coloured with Stampin Blends in Misty Moonlight-Granny Apple Green-Smoky Slate & Cinnamon Cider...A fun and festive, woodsy theme and very enjoyable to make. Make sure you click on the link above and pop over to the challenge blog for a peek at all of the fabulous design team inspiration. Thanks for stopping by! All supplies used are Stampin Up! Unless noted! (non SU Ribbon-Bells)

Hello, and welcome to my blog! It's the very last Sunday of 2019, and the 'Stamping Sunday Design Team' are showcasing our favourite products from the NEW 2020 Mini Catalogue, available 3rd January, 2020. Thankyou for joining me from Yvonne's Blog, or you may have started right here? Enjoy what we have created for you, and we hope to inspire you with some gorgeous NEW products. Get your Wishlist ready... I have created a 'Tropical Oasis' Shirt (not my design and how to make details below), and a card; remeniscent of a vintage style post card. I stamped the Palm trees using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Very Vanilla' cardstock. Colouring the trees with 'Watercolor Pencils' and a 'Blender Pen'. I daubed the edges of the die cut using a 'Sponge Dauber' and 'Crumb Cake' ink. The oval element has been embossed with the NEW 'Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder'. I then used the largest oval from the 'Stitched Shapes Dies'. The Palm Trees background from the divine 'Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper'. The 'Hello' sentiment stamped with 'Early Espresso' ink. 'Tropical Oasis DSP' shirt. You can make 2 shirts from 1 piece of DSP, and the tutorial to make your very own 'Tropical Oasis' shirt is here. Thanks to Carolyn Bennie for her Tropical shirt photographic tutorial - the best tutorial I have found! 'Rest & Relax. You deserve it' Card insert: 7.5cm x 10 cm or 3" x 4" (trim if required) Details... Buttons: I created Coconut buttons by stamping the 'Birch Background' stamp using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Soft Suede' cardstock. Punching with a very small circle punch (from the 'Itty Bitty Bit Punch Set'), and making the dots with an 'Early Espresso' Stampin' Write Marker. Pocket: Using the smallest die from the 'Stitched Nested Labels, die cut the DSP matching the shirt. Trim approximatley 8mm or 3/4" from 1 end. Fold over 3mm or 2/8", showing the back of the DSP. Adhere the pocket flap, and adhere the pocket to the shirt. Thankyou so much for being here, and I hope you have enjoyed my creations? While playing with the new Rectangle Stitched Framelit dies, I cut some papers and couldn't resist putting them together. Take a look: I had a piece of Pear Pizzazz lying on my desk, so I thought the leaf pattern from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper would make a pretty layer. But I wanted a plain center for my focal image, so I cut the DSP with another one of the Rectangles. This created a "frame" of leaves, but when I cut one more piece of Whisper White, I found I could just nestle it into the frame for a lovely card front. Using the Wonderful Romance main image, I stamped it with Versamark and embossed it in Gold Embossing Powder. Then I colored it with Light and Dark Mossy Meadow and Light Petal Pink Blends. So pretty! And it was a piece of cake to cut it out with the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies. A few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls made the flower centers pop. I layered the embossed image on my card with Dimensionals, and embossed a sentiment from the same set with the Gold.
