Hi stampers! We're on day three of our display stamper blog hop and I hope you're loving the sneak peeks so far! If you're new, make sure to go back and check out days one and two and then come back for the rest of the week! I hope you're not getting sick of the Myths & Magic suite yet because I've got more coming up. I promise you'll get a break from it soon though :-) This suite really is SO cute and I guess I went a little heavy on the samples but can you blame me? You don't even have to use the stamp set much! The DSP is great for your main image which is what my two samples today feature. I cut this little mermaid out and used her to make a shaker card! This project is a little different but it's super cute! I just took one of our clear boxes and made a little wizard diorama. I fussy cut my wizards and the castle from the DSP and used the Picture Perfect Paper Ribbon for grass. Isn't it cute? You could do the same with the smaller unicorns too, I think! I have to say, my hubby gave me the idea for this one when he walked into my office and saw ALL this stuff ALL OVER the floor LOL! That's it for me today and I promise a new stamp set up tomorrow :-) Hop on over to see what Charlet has for you today, you'll love it! I was so sad to have missed OnStage on the weekend for the first time ..... but I was so thrilled that so many of The Crazy Crafters were able to attend. Bruno and I are still in the Philippines and there is lots of work to be done here so we know sometimes things happen that we can't make these events. I am so proud of my AMAZING team that not only looked after each other but also welcome others that don't have such a big team as ours. They are such AWESOME people. Included in these awesome group of demonstrators are those who are Silver Elite and above - these were treated to a special reception hosted by Stampin Up! The also received a special gift from me for their hard work. Yes a MIMCO bag!! WOW! My level one team members received a stamp set and level 2 and 3 a card and small gift of Rhinestones. I really appreciate my team and show them at these events. Here are the amazing awards that I was given this year!! Woo Hoo!! It really is such a bonus to my job as I love what I do and love that it enables Bruno and I to travel and do things for others. I was awarded - Number 1 in Sales for Australia Number 1 in Recruiting for Australia Number 1 in Leadership for Australia Overall I was ranked number 10 in Australia. And number 41 Globally out of approx 40,000 demonstrators!! WOWOWOWOW!! I know that I haven't done this alone though - my incredible team, my loyal customers, my number one assistant Jessie and super supportive husband Bruno have made this happen - so thank you to all of you for another amazing Stampin' Up!® year. One of the main reasons for the OnStage event is to see the new catalogue. I dont have a paper copy yet, however, I have seen it electronically. And, let me tell you (and, I know I say this for every catalogue), but this is the BEST CATALOGUE YET! It is SOOOOOO on trend and full of things that I love. It is an exciting time on the Stampin’ Up! Calendar! The 2018 Occasions Catalogue starts today along with Sale-A-Bration. So many wonderful, gorgeous new products. I am still having trouble…
I was excited this last week as my Big Brown Box arrived with my stamparatus and the Blossoming Basket Bundle. Wow I was so surprised that the Basket Weave came in the 3 dimensional Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, wow oh wow (and it does carry over into the next Annual Catalogue). You may be starting here so welcome to this weeks blog hop or you could have come from Sandra Collett. This week I am caseing the card to the left, with a white background but have used the different tones of naturals and yellows for the flowers and basket. The Stampin' Blends make colouring in the flowers and basket so easy, but the fussy cutting out the inside the basket handle too a little time and patience. For my card class yesterday we used the same theme but made the card into a landscape card and added some of the beautiful Copper ribbon to the centre of the card instead of a little strip up the side. Stamp Set: Blossoming Basket Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake Ink: Memento, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and lots of Stampin' Blends Accessories: Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Copper Twine, Twine Thanks for hopping today, it's time to hop on over to Megan Lenske and wow love what she has created this week with the Sale-A-Bration products. Are you inspired by the CASEing the Catty Crew why not participate int eh CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge by uploading a project to Facebook.
Not long to go now until Sale-a-bration 2018 kicks off...which means a new Occasions Catalogue. It is FULL of stunning new products. The first one to catch my eye was the Lots of Happy Card kit which features on page 15. This is an All Inclusive kit - which means you get everything you need in the kit to make the 5 different card designs, including the coordinating Stamp Set and 4 Watercolor Pencils. This kit makes 4 each of the 5 designs so 20 cards in total. You also get coordinating envelopes too. Plus the clear block for your polymer stamp set and a black ink spot. All you need to do is the colouring! You also get all the layers for the card, some ribbon and lots of vellum die cut flowers. Best part is, when you have finished putting all the cards together, not only do you have 20 cards on hand when you need them but then you also have the pencils, stamp set, block etc to use again. I think this kit is fantastic value at $61.00 AUS and perfect for the beginner. Refills are also available if you want to make some more. Thank you for stopping by to check out my project today. This card kit will be available for purchase as of 3rd January 2018. If you cant wait and need to have it now, why not join and then get it at 20% off? Until next time Happy Stamping! Sunday 29 April 2018 Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from the Occasions Catalogues - our Favourite Project! You may have arrived here from Mel's gorgeous blog if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey. My inspiration this week came from the same page as last week - 22. I've chosen to CASE the card in the middle and have kept it very similar. I really enjoyed making this card, probably because I love this Petal Palette stamp set and it's in my colours! I stamped the floral image in Basic Black Ink onto a piece of Watercolor Paper then coloured it using the inks and an Aqua Painter. Best Wishes was embossed with White Emboss Powder and cut with a co-ordinating frame from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies. Click the "next" link below to see what the lovely and talented Sandra has to share with you! We would love you to join us with your CASE this week, using our Facebook group. Click on the image below to go there. For the first time you'll need to click on the "Join Group" button at the top. After you're added you can post your creation and you don't need to have a blog. And here's a list of supplies I used: Stamp Sets Petal Palette Inks: Powder Pink, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, Berry Burst, VersaMark and White Emboss Powder Papers: Powder Pink, Basic Black, Watercolor Paper, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer and Petal Passion DSP Accessories/Tools: Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, Big Shot, Heat Emboss Tool.

Hello everyone and welcome 😊 I have a really pretty card project for you today. I have entered this project into Kylie's Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlights. You can vote for the project you love just by visiting Kylies blog and clicking the little heart in the top right corner of the project you love the most. #kocreationscards #blossomingbasket #2018saleabration #flowers #goldembossing #cardmaking #technique #stampinup #love #mothersday #birthday #papercraft I have used a new bundle that has just been released. It's called Blossoming Basket bundle (147505) and has a stamp set and a Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder or TIEF for short called Basket Weave. Did you Know that you can earn this bundle FREE just by shopping with me and spending $180. If $180 seems a lot why not try for $90 their are some gorgeous items in the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue that you can earn for FREE just by spending $90 You can VOTE for my project by clicking HERE #kocreationscards #blossomingbasket #2018saleabration #flowers #goldembossing #cardmaking #technique #stampinup #love #mothersday #birthday #papercraft For my card I used a Basic Black card base with an embossed layer of Thick Whisper White. I cut my circle from the embossed layer before I embossed. It is important to do it before you emboss with the folder, otherwise you will lose the gorgeous texture you have just created. The embossed layer has added depth by adding dimensionals underneath to lift it up and away from the Basket image. The black framing the circle has been cut using the largest layering circle and then using my paper snips, I cut around the outside edge of the negative following the mark left by the die. #kocreationscards #blossomingbasket #2018saleabration #flowers #goldembossing #cardmaking #technique #stampinup #love #mothersday #birthday #papercraft I stamped the basket onto a scrap piece of whisper white and then coloured it using the Stampin' Blends that are available now in the Occasions catalogue on pages 30 and 31. The Stampin' Blends colours that I used are as follows: Old Olive Light and Dark combo (144597) Pink Pirouette Light and Dark combo (144604) Crumb Cake Light and Dark combo (144601 Cherry Cobbler Light (144576) Calypso Coral Light (144042) Daffodil Delight Light (144586) Bermuda Bay Light (144580) Ivory (144606) Colour Lifter 144608) Once finished I stamped the butterflies and repeated the process of colouring and fussy cutting. I also added clear Wink of Stella to the butterflies, just to make them shimmer and shine in the light. The pretty little butterflies are held in place with glue dots. I finished my card by grouping some pretty rhinestones down the left side of the card, this helped bring some balance and symmetry back. I do hope you have enjoyed this project today. If you liked it enough to vote, please VOTE for it HERE. Live in Australia? Love shopping on line for your product? The Floral Romance Suite is one of my favourite product lines in the new Occasions Catalogue. I designed these cards and little bag from one sheet of the patterned paper from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper for our recent Stamparoo's Camp at York. I also used part of one of the printed Vellum Sheets (I love these sheets) to fussy cut the flowers and leaves that I have used as embellishments. It all started with this card that I made for a recent Freshly Made Sketches Challenge. I love the rich colours of the designer series paper, and the woodgrain pattern on the reverse makes it ideal for a one sheet wonder as it gives you so many options. The little bag I found on Pinterest but could not work out who actually designed it, so apologies for not giving credit where it is due. The original little bag was a lot shorter, however I wanted a size to fit a bar of my homemade soap so I played around with the sizing until I got the size I wanted. I have done a mix of watercolouring with ink pads and an aquapainter, watercolour pencils and an aquapainter and also the Stampin' Blends. This gives a good contrast across the cards and also provides a medium that people are happy using to colour the images. This card is actually the last card I made, I had 3 small pieces of patterned paper left so this is the card layout that I designed to use them up. No waste here. In designing my cards I was trying to use all the products in the suite as I felt it would make a great product based class. On this card I have used the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to emboss the card front. This card shows the great use of the other side of the designer series paper. This card is quite simply to make with some fussy cutting for the vellum flowers and leaves, stamping and die cutting. On this card I used an actual full strip of the designer series paper, however if you only had small pieces left you could still do this design and you only need to tuck the pieces behind the centre panel, they do not need to go all the way across. This card shows another use for the lattice edging die. I have used Basic Black as mats throughout the cards as it provides a contrast that highlights the other colours in the cards. If you live in Australia you can get all the supplies you need for this project from me. You can place an order online or Contact Me and place an order. SHOP WITH ME! Thank you for visiting.
