Hello everyone! I am getting to the rest of my display samples. I'll share 3 of them today and then the rest tomorrow (hopefully!). These are the last of my 3-d projects and then one of the cards. I love how this mini treat bag came out. I stamped the bee and embossed him with the copper embossing powder. It's so pretty! I added a bee and a strip of hearts cut from the copper paper. I also added half of a doily. The sentiment is stamped using the Rich Razzleberry ombre ink pad. I didn't think I liked these at first but they do make images and sentiments a little more interesting. You should give them a try! My other 3-d item is these bobby pins. The dragonflies were stamped on Shrinky dinks!! How fun! Not only are shrinky dinks for kids, but great for stamping too. I stamped these and colored them with sharpies. Once they shrunk down they did come out a little darker than I would have liked. But still cute none the less. I also added some rhinestones in the middle of them and hot glued them to bobby pins. My last card for today uses the Bermuda Bay ombre ink for the dragonflies. It makes them look so pretty. This card is a little more shabby chic. I added some images from the Timeless Textures stamp set. Then some ribbon and sequins finishes it off. Don't forget Online Extravaganza is still going on! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello and welcome to my stop on today's blog hop. As soon as I saw the chickens in the Sale-a-bration set Hey Chick I knew I had to have it. I was raised on a farm and we always had chooks and I had my own Silky hens which had feathers tops of their heads. Anyway back to now... I coloured the hens with the new watercolour pencils. In the second card I mixed my own purple using the red and blue pencils. They are so easy to mix. With my next 2 cards I have paired the greeting set Suite Sentiments with Stylish Stems framelits dies. I love the fact that you can cut out just the inner petals and use this on top of another colour. I once again used the watercolour pencils to add colour to the petals behind the card front. For this card I also aded a small strip of an embossed piece using the new Falling Petals embossing folder. Before I used the mat for behind my main card front I cut out a couple of flowers for use inside my card but then made sure that the area behind the leaf was open so I could then use the main card as my leaf colour. Its now time to hop on over to Narelle's blog to see her beautiful creations. BLOG HOP PARTICIPANTS: 1. Libby Dyson 2. Samantha White 3. Nicole Wilson 4. Kelly Kent 5. Lou Kitzelman 6. Hello Stampers! Here is one of the very first cards I have made using the "Beautiful You" stamp set available soon in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog that goes live on January 4th. Sale-a-Bration, Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year, starts at the same time!! Very few supplies were needed for this card. I did this one using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the figures very close to each other. I did another card without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It turned out good too but the figures were a little further apart. This is a regular size A2 card (finished size 5.5" x 4.25") I stamped all the ladies first with Tuxedo Black memento ink then stamped all but one dress with Smokey Slate ink. Finally I stamped the sentiment and the last dress in Real Red classic ink. The 'Hello You' thinlits were used to cut the "you" out of Real Red card stock.Very subtle and hard to see on the photo are the three tiniest pearls I added for a necklace on the lady in red. Hope you love the simplicity as much as I do. Click on the icon below to get everything you need for this project...except the Beautiful You stamp set which will not be available until January 4th. WAIT!! YOU could already HAVE this stamp set if you were a demonstrator! Why not JOIN MY TEAM?? Send me an email if interested at [email protected] Happy Stampin'! This week I am extra busy looking after all the customer orders coming through for our Online Extravaganza sale. One question I would like to answer that has been asked several times is..... "Do I need to order through the Online Store to get the specials and discounts?" And the answer is no... you can order through your demonstrator, OR via the Online store... and you'll still get the discounts. However, it certainly is easier to order through the store... and you don't need to wait for me to be available! You can order anytime! The sale will run until Monday 28th November. So... on to today's project! You might be thinking "Hey! I don't remember seeing those beautiful die cut Dragaonflies anywhere!!! Where on earth did you get them!" And the answer is..... they aren't available....... YET! The Dragonfly Dreams bundle will be available in the upcoming Occasions Catalogue due out on the 4th January 2017! If you want one, then make sure you order them quickly when they are released because they sure are going to be popular! My suggestion is to make sure you are on my mailing list for the new catalogue (which I'll be sending out in December to my Australian customers) and then be sure to grab this gorgeous bundle for yourself! Or here's another cool idea.... grab a Gift Card for Christmas! I'm making up gift cards to any amount you choose which can then be redeemed on any products of your choice from either this catalogue or the new ones. If you'd like a gift card, then be sure to contact me soon and I'll make one up for you! And one last thing... the gorgeous white lace stamping you see on my tag above... thats a sneak peek at one of the new FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp sets! It will be free with a $90 order from the 4th January. Enjoy the tag and I'll be back with more soon!
Since I've been posting home decor projects, I might as well show you this one too, as it was also on the 2017 Occasions display table at the Open House. I have this one sitting on a low, under the window, shelving unit. I love how when the sun comes in the window and picks up the gold foil or the Clear Wink of Stella on the dragonfly wings. A close up view... and you can see the Wink of Stella on this photo. This dragonfly is paper pieced and well worth the effort. This project is so quick and easy to put together. I picked up a bunch of these frames at the Dollar Store about 3 years ago, and this is the last one to be used. I wish they still had them. Thank you for checking in again, to have a peek. I love this sketch over at the TGIF Challenge. Challenges are good if you are suffering from 'I don't know what to do' syndrome. In fact I find it really hard to do a card without doing a challenge. If you have the same problems, I strongly suggest giving a challenge a go. You will find a link to quite a few challenges on my blog. I used one of the new sets in our soon to be released Holiday catty and the sketch is just perfect for this set too. Hi there It's Sunday night and the CTC Crew have lots of inspiring Mother's Day projects for you this week. You may have come from looking at the lovely project on Julia's blog, but if you are visiting me, you can start your journey here and continue by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the post. Good morning! I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend! Ours was great, though not near long enough, as usual! I will be busy getting ready for Thanksgiving this week, we are hosting it at our …
It is so exciting when we get to introduce to you the new In Colours (colors)! At OnStage it was mentioned that these colours were not created to work all together. For the most part they do, but we can't forget our other Family colours - the Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals. I'm certain these new colours will work well with these too. Did you know that each year Stampin' Up! create their own new colours, they almost always show in the Top Panetone Colours which really determines the hip and funky colours that we will see in design and fashion. Now I understand you may not be a fan straightaway but let me woo you. To decorate these cards I used The Mixed Boarders greetings & a new stamp from Badges and Banners. I've also used a NEW DSP Stack called Playful Palette (coming June 1st pg 174 of the new catalogue) its has 4 of the new In Colours and the designs are fabulous! Peekaboo Peach Flirty Flamingo Emerald Envy Sweet Sugarplum Dapper Denim You can make these cool cards with little supplies - photos to come! - Playful Palette DSP Stack 141657 - InColour A4 Assortment 141434 Plus these new Stamp sets Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it! Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed seeing my projects please leave me a comment I'd love to hear what you think!
Yes, it is Easter Sunday. My children are getting big and the hunt for Easter Eggs lasts about 3 minutes! All were happy with their findings. I was not planning to post today, but I had a moment and created a few note cards with the RETIRING (and sold out) Stylish Stems Framelits. For next few weeks, I try to create with items leaving because once they retire, I will have new products to use. I am having fun looking on Pinterest for retiring product creations and wondering if I can squeeze in all that I like. Most likely not

Are you looking for great sneak peek ideas with the products from the soon to be released 2017-18 catalog? Well you’ve come to the right place. Hooray! If you're here, it means you liked Sweet Sugarplum. If it's your first visit to my blog featuring new in colors, go back and check out all the previous posts on said subject: Previous posts start here. I was very drawn to this color when I was creating with the new in colors for the very first time. The color is so warm and welcoming, so lovely and dare I say it, sweet. Enjoy your peek at Sweet Sugarplum. Measurements for this sweetie are after the pics. Measurements for the happy hello card: Regular card base of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Black layer 4 x 5 1/4. Vanilla layer (stamped on) 3 5/8 x 5 1/8. 4 boxes, first number is DSP, second number is black: 1 3/4 x 4 and 1 7/8 x 4 1/8, 3 x 3 and 3 1/8 x 3 1/8, 3 1/4 x 1 7/8 and 3 3/8 x 3 1/8 x 2, 3 5/8 x 6/8 and 3 1/2 x 7/8. The cool shape for the sentiment is made using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits (no center, I thought that was pretty clever of me). Hope I got that all right. You can make up your own building blocks of different sizes with 1/8 inch card stock mountings. Here's that cute picture of all the colors in mini boxes one last time. Thanks for sharing the new in colors with me, I'd love to know your favorites. Happy Crafting!
