Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making. Today I am showcasing for you the very gorgeous 'Live, Love, Grow' stamp set by Stampin' Up! (Pg 147 of the Annual Catalogue) My card is an Outdoor Terrarium! I fell in love as soon as I saw this set. It is so easy to stamp with. How did I colour the plants? This set is a 2-step stamp which means after you've stamped the outline, you use the bold image to stamp the colour! Can't forget the inside! It's all in the details! I stamped directly onto whisper white and I fussy cut 2 plants and raised them on dimensionals. I also used the fine tip glue pen to make all the plants glossy - it works a lot like crystal effects (retired) and actually lighten the colour in some of the leaves. I also added some 'droplets' of water inside the glass case. Don't forget to pin and share our projects! Here's a little colour inspiration for you.. Thank you for visiting today. The next stop is the talented Michelle Last! There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it! Full Blog Line Up Sarah Berry - UK Carolina Evans - AUSTRALIA

Currently you’re visiting Louise Sharp from Australia, Hello there! You can continue hopping my using the previous and next buttons at the end of this post. Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making. Wreaths are so on trend at the moment. Last week I did a wreath card, a very quick and simple one using the Hello Lovely Project Life Card Kit. This week I create one using the leaves, stems and flowers from the new Jar of Love set - and I'm quite happy with the result. This wreath may look a little difficult, however with the matching Everyday Jar framelits it came together quite quickly. I punched a 2.5'' white circle and glued all the leaf elements around the circle, leaving the flowers until last. I raised the circle up on dimensionals and used my Melon Mambo Marker to add a few dots around the outside to finish it off. Jar of Love Bundle The next stop is the talented and ever so lovely, Rhoda Macpherson. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it! 1. Sarah Berry 2. Hello Monday! It's What Will You Stamp? time again, this week we are showcasing one of the new 2016-2017 catalogue stamp sets - Falling Flowers. If your are a regular visitor to my blog you may be thinking you have seen a similar card before, well you have, but this time I have re-sized so that rather than being a tall and skinny card, it is the normal C6 card size, because I loved it so much! The great thing about resizing this card is that it means that you can get 2 Z-fold cards from 1 piece of A4 card stock, AND you don't need to make a custom size envelope - Win, Win! To do this I measured down 14.5 cm on one side on an A4 sheet of card stock and measured up 14.5 cm on the other side to create the diagonal, then cut with my trimmer, repeating with Whisper White, here is what the cut looks like before scoring and adding the flowers: Score your card at 9.9 cm, turn and score at 9.9.cm again from the other end to create the folds. I trimmed 0.4 cm from the bottom of the Whisper White layer and cut the layers accordingly - I found it easier to cut the diagonal on a full panel of Whisper White then create the layering panels rather than cut the diagonal from strips of 9.5 cm card stock. I also challenged myself to use all of the 2016-2018 In Colours for colouring this card, Dapper Denim was interesting as there are not many blue flowers, so I blended Sweet Sugarplum to create a beautiful deep purple! One thing to keep in mind when creating this card is to ensure that the flower on the top corner of the card will still fit within the envelope, I put an envelope next to my card as I was positioning the flowers to make sure the size would be correct. A number of viewers have ask if the flowers were fussy cut when I posted my other card, I am glad to say they are not, Falling Flowers is available as a bundle with the May Flowers Framlits Dies so you have 7 wonderful framelits to cut your stamped flowers plus 3 framelits to cut beautifully delicate flowers and leaves - I will be using these 3 in a project to come! Now you have seen my creation come along and join in the fun this week with Falling Flowers - to see all the great projects from the Design Team and to participate in this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? click here, we can't wait to see what you create! Interestingly I was showing Brian King the card that I made for this hop and he sent a picture back of one of his cards from a few years back that looked very similar. I must have seen it on pinterest and tucked it away for when I needed it to come out again. Thanks for the inspiration Brian! Here is my card - I adore this stamp set! I love that it is so clean and that the light just pops out and shines brightly. I also adore white embossing and love that I have been able to use this for the sentiment and cord. The crushed curry cardstock goes so well with the Basic Black cardstock. Thank you so much for joining me today. I am sure that you are going to love seeing all the amazing projects! Welcome to my Stampin' Up! Blog! My name is Bruno Bertucci and I'm married to Kylie.
Hi Everyone!! I am back from Stampin' Up! On Stage Live and I have so many fun photos to share this week! As I mentioned a month back, I tried out to be a display stamper for the event. In case you are not aware, a display stamper helps in creating the samples of new products for the event. Stampin' Up! wants to have many different examples for everyone to see, and they select about 30 or so people to make the samples, so that there is a variety of projects. I showcased a stamp set called Painter's Palette, which is good for me as I like to paint and draw! I loved the easel, and saw some possibilities with that right away. The other focus I was to have was the 2015-2017 In-Colors. I was suppose to make 20 samples, focusing on the stamp set and the colors, 4 samples in each of the 5 colors. We were to make a variety of projects, cards, 3D and scrapbook pages. Here is what I made... This first set of cards was keeping things simple. I used all of the swooshes in the set in the background, tone on tone. To create the background behind the sentiment I stamped the brushstroke image first in full strength ink, then stamped again three more times with out reinking the stamp. This gives the dark to light ombre look. For this grouping I cut the frame off the easel and used the tack to 'hang' the frame. This set uses the easel, as well as other stamp sets, to make a framed piece of art. I also needed to make some 3D projects and for these I focused on the colors rather than the stamp set. I used the gift bag punch board to create three different sized boxes. The new ribbon was so pretty to use! With this set I decided to use the frame, and added a "spotlight" technique where you only color in the image that appears inside the frame, leaving the parts outside of the frame black and white. I think these turned out fun, as well as pretty! In the days ahead I will show how to's on a few of these, as well as some close ups. I wanted to post these for those who have been asking to see what I made for the event. At the event I wandered over to the display to see if the projects were being well received. It was really fun to see people taking photos and a few times as I stood behind, I noticed a couple people zooming in on one of my projects! How fun!! Thanks for stopping by!!
On the Stampin' Up! Mediterranian cruise we received so many beautiful new products as gifts each night. It was overwhelming and wonderful. And, another great day outside in Michigan today. Keep 'em coming! I'm Lovin' it!!! I'll be sharing some really cool cards and tags that I designed this week and a card box on Friday that I found a video for. I so LOVE how my project came together and the colors are just fabulous! Lets take a look at the tags that I designed: I'm so LOVIN' Stampin' Up's new Pop of Paradise Stamp Set and all the new 2016-2018 In-Colors. They're just so fabulous and fun!!! The new Ruched Ribbons in the new In-Color colors are awesome and so easy to tie and make pretty bows. O.K. On with my tag...My tag is 3-3/4" x 2" and punched with SU's Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I laid down a strip of SU's new Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape at the bottom of my tag. These colors are the new In-Colors called Sweet Sugarplum and Flirty Flamingo. I laid another piece of SU's new DWT called Affectionately Yours in Crushed Cucumber and White! I LOVE how the pink's show through the white flowers. I stamped the sentiment from SU's new Pop of Paradise Stamp Set in Sweet Sugarplum Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. I die cut the sentiment out using the frame die from SU's Rose Garden Thinlits Dies (so glad this is returning in the new catalog). I attached the frame die cut to my tag using Stampin' Dimensionals. Using the ink to stamp technique, I colored the pineapple stamp using Stampin' Write Markers in Crushed Curry and Cucumber Crush, huffed on the stamp and stamped it on Very Vanilla Cardstock. I fussy cut it out and adhered it to my tag using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue. I stamped the BIG leaf in Cucumber Crush Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, fussy cut it out and adhered it to my tag using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue. I randomly adhered 3 Basic Jewel Rhinestones to my tag. I attached a piece of SU's new 3/8" Ruched Ribbon in Sweet Sugarplum to the top of my tag. Here's a Lynn Sneak Peek of the tag box where the tags fit in the card and tag box that I'll be sharing with you tomorrow! That's all I have for today! Please come back tomorrow when I'll share the rest of my project. Have a great day! I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you! If you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me on-line at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator. Wow, with all the amazing new product suits in the Annual catalogue, I decided it was time to spend a little bit of time getting to know one and so I decided to get busy with the absolutely stunning Pop of Pink suite. I have seen so many gorgeous cards with the stamps alone, that really you could just CASE from pinterest for the next years worth of celebrations easily. But there really is more to this set then just stamps alone. So let's start with three cards that I've made using the Pop of Paradise Stamps, Pop of Pink DSP and Washi: The flamingo in this set really is gorgeous to stamp with. It doesn't matter what colour you ink him up in, he stamps perfectly. I also love using the stamps to make my own patterned paper, which is what I did with the pineapples. As soon as I saw this set, I knew I had to do some watercolouring with it. I stamped the flamingo in black and then added lots of Wink of Stella to him. He looks like he's been made out of black glitter. Oh and the colour of the watercolour just happens to be Flirty Flamingo of course!! This card was inspired by some of Stampin' Up's awesome Project Life quote cards. I used the sentiment from Layering Love and stamped it over the top of the specialty gold patterned paper which is also in the Pop of Pink DSP. I was really pleased with how it came out. Oh and talking about Project Life, I decided it was time to print off my photos from a trip last year, when I flew home to surprise my Mum and Nan for their Birthday and I just knew this paper would be perfect. I actually teamed the DSP with our Moments Like These Project Life kit. Both sets are full of Black, White and Gold, and they worked perfectly together!! I'm such a Project Life fan and can't wait to get my hands on the new kits. They really are stunning. In fact my first catalogue order (which should be here this week... eekkkk!!) has a couple of the new sets in it, so watch this space! So what else did I make??? Well what about a cute little bag and some matching Thank You cards to pop in it: I used our Ah-maz-ing gift bag punch board to whip up this little bag and thought it would be a cute way to gift a little collection of cards. After all, I always think you can never have enough Thanks You cards. And lastly, I have been wanting to make myself a Stampin' Up! frame for like, well forever and I couldn't resist using the Botanical Builder framelits with the Pop of Pink DSP to make this gorgeous 12x12 frame to hang in my work space. The best thing about it, is that I can change out the colours and paper whenever I feel like it. I love this frame so much that I might make another for a good friend of mine, as I still have one more decal!! Well there you go. Such a gorgoeus collection of creations and each were so easy to come up with due to how everything in the suite coordinates with each other. If you haven't already, make sure you add the Pop of Pink range to your wish list today or better yet, head over to my store and get shopping!!
