The Olympic rings are a universally recognized symbol of the Olympic Games. The five interlocking rings, colored blue, yellow, black, green, and red on a white field, were designed by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games. The rings made their first appearance in the 1920 Antwerp Olympics.
