Recipe: Caramelized onions: In a skillet on medium/low heat, sauté 1/2 sliced red onion in olive oil (thin slices). Stir frequently and allow to reduce for 45-50 mins. About half way through, add some sherry and Worcestershire sauce and mix in. Mushrooms: sautee 1 cup mixed mushrooms of your choice in a pan with olive oil, add a sprinkle of thyme, 2 tsp balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper until they soften! Steak: in a cast iron skillet on high heat and oil, butter, rosemary, and garlic. Then add your seasoned steak (seasoned generously with salt and pepper) and cook 3 minutes each side.
