Mandrakia in Milos is a tiny fishing village located on the island's north coast! Spotted in a small bay, it does not have a beach apart from a narrow strand of pebbles, but there are several beaches with magnificent turquoise waters nearby. The settlement consists of fishermen's houses carved into the stone, as well as the traditional colorful syrmata unique to Milos. These were secondary homes, whose ground floors were used as storage rooms for boats, while the upper floors were sleeping areas.ย Visitors will not find shops, cafes, or restaurants apart from a fish and seafood tavern.
