An amazingly vibrant ruby red glass sugar and creamer set from Anchor Hocking. This pedestal set is an open sugar bowl and open creamer made in Anchor Hocking's proprietary Royal Ruby Red color. The color is a deep and rich red. The sugar bowl and creamer are both very sleek and classically designed. Both feature a a large wide mouth that slightly tapers with straight edges along the bowl sides. Both pieces end with a wide base. What makes these pieces stand out are the ornate handles and the surprise cuts in the bottom of the base of both the sugar bowl and creamer. The handles are not an ordinary D, but have decorative edges to make it a more stylized look. The bottom of the base is cut with a radiating pattern of rays outwards to create a star. Combined together, it is a set that seems plain at first sight but will surprise you with all the little touches that make it stand out. Perfect for any tea or coffee drinker, or even to use as containers for relish and condiments! This amazing set will add an extra pop of color.
