Oedipus the King and Death of a Salesman Combined 27-Day Unit on Classical vs. Modern Tragedy with ELA 9-10 and 11-12 Common Core Alignment. This combined unit contains both of my single units on Oedipus the King and Death of a Salesman, and adds instructional material to effectively compare the two tragedies. This unit will help your students improve their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills as they examine both plays and the theory behind classical and modern tragedy.
